The one. After a grueling search and 30+ apps, I am happy to say that this one won with very little actual competition. Extremely powerful, customizable, but not bloated, and user-friendly. If I had to compare this to others I'd say that it has the flow and ease of use of Samsung music and other barebones built-in music players, while having the power of a full-blown desktop client akin to foobar2000, even exceeding it in some regards! Try it, spend 2 minutes in the settings, you'll love it!

This is a great app. No streaming, no sales pitches, no ads, no data mining. It plays the music that I put on my phone which is the music I want and love. I created a playlist with over 1,900 tracks. I love that it keeps track of where I was on each playlist. The interface was very easy to learn. I have upgraded to premium because I want to support the developer.

Beautiful and simple app, which does exactly what it says - allows you to listen the music files you own without any interuptions. The one thing that would be nice is a better artist view. I would rather have artist name with the album covers in a grid than the long text list, but it works; remembering what artist you were viewing when last using the app would also make it more user friendly. Otherwise, amazing player that anyone wanting to listen to their offline music library should install.

Highly Recommend. Used for over five years. Purchased the Lifetime Pro License too. This personal music player is far and away the best one out there. The fact that it doesn't require access to the Internet to play your music means you can play YOUR music anywhere, anytime. Plus, it has superb library management tools that allow you to categorize your music in many, many ways and critically it will allow you to embed your album cover or single cover art and lyrics into your music files.

I thought I had reviewed this app but apparently I never did. I've been using Musicolet for a few years now, and I have to say I love everything about it. I have zero interest in subscription based services, and as a result I still buy CD's/manually manage my music library. This app gives me the freedom to create a custom music library, backup and restore playlists, and manage it with a friendly UI. Paid version is 100% worth it; very rarely do I throw money at apps.

The best offline music player, bar none. I've been using this player for a year, and I'll never use another one. Robust tagging/tag editing features, a ton of playback options, and easy-to-use playlist building. All of this for free! And with the Pro subscription (so inexpensive!!), I'm able to use options to cast the audio to my speakers/TV. It was everything I was looking for in a music player and then some. Try it. You won't regret it.

overall, a great app for listening to music locally on your device. Have purchased the pro version a few years ago, and functionally it does everything I need such an app to do! It isn't 5 stars though because sometimes it just eats up my battery even when the app hasn't been used in that day. I turn off my phone every night, and sometimes when I turn it back on and it's been on for a few hours, but without this app being used, it'll be the cause for the highest battery usage by a wide margin.

This is one of the best apps I've used and actively recommend the paid version to friends. It's sleek, so customizable, easy to edit tags in, and has so many features like being able to inverse select items to get everything but a few items, built in audio cutter, and ability to edit tags. I also like how it's offline (privacy) and doesn't show intrusive ads in the free version. 11/10

This thing runs on my 2gb ram phone no problem, there's no ads, and I can't find premium even though I know it should be there? Rock solid regardless. You can trim your files, you can edit your tags, it comes with an equalizer, and you can make playlists. They don't gather your data and you can use it offline no problems. Genuinely, thank you. You've ended my years long hunt for a replacement of Play Music. No frills, no pain, it feels good to be free.

If you want something that simply just plays your local files without any intrusion, this is the one. Very clean and customizable UI, no paywalls, and no bugs or crashes that I have encountered in the months I have used this app. Also, if you care about lastfm, it works with Pano Scrobbler perfectly. Just make sure your files are tagged correctly if you use that (which you can edit tags in the app!)

Great experience so far, I've used this app for almost 3 years and haven't had any issues, it does what it says and it does it pretty well, highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple to use audio organizer and player. Also if the team at Musicolet could add the ability to like individual albums as a whole and not just the individual songs that would be great 🙂‍↕️😁

Freaking Incredible!! You can trim songs and create your playlist. also this won't show up on your browser. it's total free, I'm just pissed I didn't find this app sooner. Because previously I was on spotify. Now I can download free music (of course not on here, but on another app) I have over 5,567. I copy them on Google file as a backup. This is a game changer for any music lover

Best music app. You can change the name of files, songs, artist, and album so they can be alphabetically arranged however you want, which you can't do with other music apps. Downloaded music automatically goes into the downloaded file in the app. Can select many songs at once and put them in a playlist. Simple and easy, not super simple, but easy after figuring it out. If you exit out of the app and go back in it stays at the song you were scrolled at and won't scroll all the way back to top

ALL AROUND GREAT APP! I use this app to listen to my downloaded music and I must say, the functions, accessibility and modularity of this application is unmatched. Change the tone, speed, equalizer, title, author, album, lyric editing, playlist building, etc, etc, etc any time you want. Amazing all throughout. Perfect for the music analysts. A feedback I have is I wish I could find out which songs have not been placed in a playlist.

This is the kind of music player I have been trying to find for literal decades! It shows artwork for individual tracks, unlike most players which go off the album or folder labels, causing unrelated songs to have the same thumbnail . This was a big one for me. it has a built-in tag editor, so I no longer need a separate program. It has the ability to sync lyrics as the song plays. Very easy to set up. It has everything I've been looking for in an MP3 player. It just works. And it's free!

Musicolet is the best. I love that it remembers EQ profile depending on what speaker/Bluetooth device the phone is connected to. I have just one album that inserts between-song gaps of silence in this app (but won't do that in other music apps), so not sure what's up with that, but can't fault them for that...maybe one day will get to look under the hood and see what's wrong!

User friendly, Easy to use. Great sound quality. I'll come back and edit when I find out if it really shuffles without repeating the same files. First impression is fantastic though. okay it's been five hours and I haven't heard the same song twice. This app is amazing. I wish they would sell the download so I could have this forever. Then I'd be like, just bury me with my phone playing music. haha I hope they never update it and keep it just like it is. You NEED this.

Best music player on Android. Hands. Down. Or hands up if you're jammin'! There's even a declaration on their homepage that it has no internet access permission, so that's pretty cool. Impressively packed with all the features you'd ever want from a local storage music player, AND MORE! Equalizer works great (YMMV depending on your device), you can even change the internal codec it uses which slightly changes the sound profile. Custom (and dynamic!) themes. Tag editing, which is user-friendly.

it's very easy to use and to understand and its fantastic when it comes to adding missing album artwork! the one thing I don't like is the Queue it's difficult to play songs on Android Auto and when in normal use there should be a way to turn off the Queue if you don't want to use it! otherwise this might become my Daily Music App! the other feature I'd suggest is showing how many albums and the total run time in each genre so you get an idea of how many and total run time!!

So far, it does exactly what I need it to do. It supports album artist sorting, it plays nice with how I tag songs, I'm satisfied. Nice work. Edit: it had a small bug where leaving my library on auto-sync would make me have to re-sync, my library would only be partially available. Turning the setting off fixed it. The UI is a little strange and unintuitive at times, but it's good enough. More apps should be completely offline and ad-free, good on the devs.
