it was 5 stars for me but now 3 because I have to always verify my number which is very time consuming, takes away the convenience of using the App. Waiting for the verification to complete can take almost the same amount of time as using the USSD, I hope this update is reversed. It's so inconvenient, otherwise the rest is great, but those features don't matter if we can't access them due to them being hidden behind the frequent verification process.
What an amazing ✨ app! This is how it ought to be - not only can I manage my Airtel money account (securely) from within the app, I can also get an overview of my balances (Data, Calls, SMS) in a single interactive dashboard. I can subscribe to/purchase various deals all in one app. It's also connected to government services so that I can be linked to them speedily. It also allows me to identify Airtel shops in an area of my choosing, check network coverage, and upgrade to an E-sim! Kudos ✨
your app keeps writing "something went, please try again later" and this has been going on since yesterday. honestly, i don't want to use it for any activity, other than checking my data balance. pls fix up. it's becoming so annoying. i came here to check if it's an update problem, and i just updated the app and the problem still persists again, fix your app, y'all are bigger than this fr
the app is great. the recent introduction of the visa card was a great innovation. the only problem is that when you travel you can't login unless you're back in the country. and there must be alternative ways to top up the visa card, through ussd codes or using another number or in the airtel shop. the app still needs improvement
Where I'm currently working from, Airtel is quite good but one problem with your app is that once you remove the SIM card and when you put it back, it requires re~registration. This process is difficult, the app doesn't work seamlessly well, I had to do it many times to succeed! Have a look at your colleagues MTN, the process is simple.
I am so tired of complaining. this app is just rubbish. I have not had acess to it since last year! over 7 months now. I've been using other networks instead. I complained and sent an email but y'all didn't do anything about it. it keeps saying something went wrong when I want to login. Just close down if you are tired. how could you not fix an issue for almost or over 7 months
It is a good app for real... All in one I would recommend that in the upcoming update you would add fingerprints feature. Also, allowing user to use WI-FI for logging to the application. Currently, we are forced not only to have Airtel sim card in the device-used but you must have data turned on and have data bundle...! We would appreciate if there other way around to authenticate login without need to have Airtel data turned on. UPDATE: Please add the feature "buy airtime for other networks"
Seamless operation. Everything you need is built in.There is one snag you may wish to improve on. If you completely run out of data and there's no wifi, you cannot open the app. The app should be able to open whether you have data bundle or not because if it doesn't open, it defeats the purpose it was meant to achieve ,part of which is seamless purchase of the data bundle using the app.
The app itself is not bad. complaint is on the new feature the which is the MasterCard. it was working perfectly Antill a few weeks past by then it started declining even though there was money in the cad. when I try to call customer care it's not an actual human being that's picks up so can you please resolve this issue as soon as possible
Very good app, it makes it easy to do transactions and monitor accounts. I only wish it was working even without data coz sometimes one would want to buy bundles using the app but can't until you purchase bundles. I also wish the app only bundles can be purchased for any number that is registered without putting the sim card inside the phone.
Am glad they have add access to buy internet bundle for pocket wifi. however there are still some improvements needed on 1. The app should be usable even when you dont have internet access. Good example is imagine your internet bundle is over and u need to buy another bundle through airtel money and you cant because the app needs the internet connection you cant pay for anything 2. Remove popup ads on the app, they are really annoying
the "Auto verify OTP" is not a very good UX design. the SIM for the ODU is an Esim. there is no way the sim can be on my phone for you to Auto verify OTP. I saw that a user had already complained about this before but nothing has been done to fix it. let us be able to manually input the OTP or allow us register with the alternate number so we can receive the OTP and you can auto verify (if that's the hill you prefer to die on!!) but please, that feature is literally making the app unusable
On 20th November 2021 I gave "My Airtel App a 5 Star Rating" and said - Working perfectly..... Add more interesting features. But today I'm taking back some of my stars because the app failed me many times over when it attempts to verify my number. It attempts to send a verification code that does not come until when it decides to block me for hours because of "TOO MANY ATTEMPTS" which actually did not happen at all. since my last update, using the app has become unsuccessfully time consuming.
This app feels like a failed IT experiment. Forcing OTP auto-verification makes absolutely no sense. Many of us keep SIM cards in small phones, modems, or routers and only want to log the number into the app to monitor data and usage. By removing manual OTP entry, the app blocks this very basic and legitimate use case. It’s annoying, poorly thought out, and user-hostile. Add manual OTP verification and fix this.

this is a quick way to send money not only within the network but crosses networks boarders and even continents, love using this APP! only one problem, when getting contacts from the phone book, if the number is saved with country code the app doesn't automatically remove the code but is able to id the number accurately, however it can't complete the TRX so the number has to be edited in the phone book before the app is opened or typed in manually which is not much of a big deal if you memorised
very good, everything made simpler, I like it especially the ui design. I just wish the loan options like quickloans and wewole be made available for easy and quicker access. I don't like pressing digits, I have added one more star, in order to have all the 5 stars, improve on your data consumption rate, and you guys consume our data with us. how comes a 1GB data bundle i bought got done in 10 mins
generally the app performance is great BUT it would have been best if option for using biometrics only to be provided insited of using pin number input. I keep wondering why black theme option isn't available till now! airtel do something about this pls. and lastly there is severe issue of AIRTEL KIKOBA in the app it's never functioning keeps saying error on and on🙄🧐
let me give it 4 stars because; 1. it doesn't work if I don't have data, despite being told that just switch on my Internet connection but still nothing 2.The only options provided are, top-up the card, withdraw from the card and block the card. This is way different from the T&C's stated, though I can now view my 16-digits 3. I thought you guyshad fixed the issue os working without data still no change even after almost I don't know how long It's a good app though (edited)
worst user experience ever. The app keeps on logging me out for no reason and there is no password login which is very inconvenient. It would be great if I could set up a username and password just like other Apps. and the ads are annoying as hell. I'ma stick to using USSD until they fix the trash UX
