like the functionality, it's a good way to track everything and updates work. *28-01-26 They removed the share tracking detail, this is really annoying and made the functionality worse. I also don't get why I can't just save unknown tracking parcels. *05-03-26 I don't see how customer service can do anything for a removed feature.
Terrible customer service and absolutely inflexible company. I accidentally locked the box and spent five hours outside trying to get help but they didn't do anything. This app doesn't give a second chance to reopen the bloody box within the next two minutes. Their female operator instead of helping started blaming me and eventually hung up. I hate DHL . They also wrote that they missed me when the address was their packetautomat. Many times they simply lie.
DHL used to suck, but now I feel they are doing a better job than the other delivery companies for packages. But this review should be about the app: it works, does what it is supposed to. keeps me updated on when a package will be delivered, where it was delivered. So, no complaints about the app. Wish the delivery guys and gals would wait 20 second longer for me to open the door before dumping the package at the designated spot (because ring doorbell first).
Courier doesn't show up and lie that we missed each other to drop the package in a near service point. This happened not once or even twice, it happened more than 8 times!!! It's not an ethical begaviour to keep people at home expecting their packages and then decide to lie we all have valuable time and plans. That's why this should be reported and put an end to. DISAPPOINTED👎
Don't waste your time downloading it, just use the online version. Useless app. Had an account that I always use, but all of a sudden I had to remake a new account because it wouldn't recognise my username, even though I was able to login on the web page.. always giving errors, can't find my orders, doesn't allow you to change time and address of andelivery scheduked to arrive in 4 dsys. I was able to do all my needs on the web page though.. just doesn't make sense. Big headache & frustration.
The worst. The delivery driver never hand over package to you personally, and you will mysteriously be marked as "not at home" though you were all the time. Then either it would end up in a locker kilometer away, or sometimes goes back to the seller, in which case you don't get the full refund as the merchant subtracts the round-trip shipping fee; but when you want to complain, you realize there is no outlet because this courier company have no phone number that you can call! Disgusting
The app offers nothing extra! Total rubish this app. DHL beware that when you've been hacked and personal user info is obtained. I will sue you! On top of this the setting for delivery in one's profile IS COMPLETELY IGNORED! So, why make it appear this setting does anything, when it clearly doesn't?
all notifications are turned on, permissions turned on, but no notifications... also you change parcels to be delivery on monday, and then you STILL deliver them on sunday???? without any warning
Why do you even allow for delivery instructions when the delivery person will disregard them? I don't want to go to a service point, I want you to deliver it to me. The customer service does not exist. You can only text with a very unhelpful AI chatbot. Edit: This is not a delivery complaint. Your app has a great UI and features, yet they don't seem to translate to a better user experience if you ignore the user input made through the app. That's on your company.
Dhl is great if the package can be delivered into a automated locker(qr code scanner works 40 centimetres from the scanner), when normal delivery occurs it is always a question, did it get delivered or not. The app works nicely and as of the expansion in my city the locker near me is selectable, so yeah happy with the app and dhl. -1 star because at home delivery does not always succeed. you still are better than gls and had a bad experience with postnl aswell(messy deposit, finding package).
Update -5 stars, yes negative, the Ai does not allow me to type anymore for a complaint. Have a nice day we are closed.
the app never works. super annoying. i always order on a day i will be at home and its not delivered to me but neighbors. please fix this!
I basically only use this app to track incoming shipments from web shops. For that purpose it does its job, but what I really miss is the ability to rename (i.e. assign a custom name to) an incoming shipment. Now the main screen just shows the sender's name. When there are multiple shipments from the same sender, there's currently no way to distinguish between them other than by looking up the tracking number in the sender's confirmation emails. Obviously, that's not very convenient. P.S. The app from one of your main Dutch competitors (PostNL) already has this functionality.
The app is okay but DHL as a service sucks. No clarity of when things actually get delivered and they flat out lie about when they'll be there. This is the third time now that I'll get it "tomorrow between 10 and 18" my expensive parcel better be deliverd soon.
App works well, (compared to DHL delivery guys 🙈). It's a bit annoying that you have to try to add your tracking code several times, and it keeps telling you it's unknown. Fine, I understand, but let me save it, just like PostNL. I am tired of taking notes that I have add code X or Y tomorrow again. That would be so convenient. without that feature it's only worth 4 stars.

Will log you out after a while, so you don't get a push message when you're package is delivered, and no email either to my package was returned to sender. Appalling service for a delivery company.
When trying to close the app a menu pops open that asks me if I want to close the app, this is very annoying and unnecessary? I've already decided and acted upon closing the app, there is no option to disable this popup either. The app itself is fine I guess, shows tracking information and the option to decide a preferred delivery option. This however also always overrides the option you choose when ordering so beware.

DHL is never to be trusted, ... yes I did contact DHL if you had been any good I wouldn't have drawn this conclusion..an international business which has created an avenue for stealing and has turned a blind eye to it.
