You get notified of a new message but it doesn't take you to where the message is and there's no notification on the app about the message. I CAN NEVER FIGURE OUT WHAT MESSAGES THEY SEND ME. Why hide it? IT DOESN'T SHOW YOU UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS UNLESS YOU GO TO WHERE YOU START A NEW VIRTUAL CARE AND MAKE LIKE YOU WANT NEW CARE before you can see existing appointments. Yes, you read that right. You cannot set up a FOLLOW-UP appointment with the same provider, you have to start from scratch.
I got a text that I have a message. I opened the app and was forced to update. After the update, I was forced to set up 2 factor login so I did. I got my login verification code and entered it, logged in, only for it to say something went wrong, try again later. Now I have a message waiting in my account that I'm unable to access. Great job.
The app is good when you can actually log in. One day, I can log in and look at everything. The next won't let me log in, and it keeps telling me it's the wrong login info. Update, 3 months later and I still have the same problem. Now, it says my biometrics have expired. How does that even happen? This is the only app that has ever done that.
My company switched to Highmark and I set up my account on the website. I downloaded the app on both of my phones (iPhone and Android) and tried using the app on my computer. In all three cases when I try to login to my account through the app it reports that my account has expired and I no longer have access. I can't provide a legitimate score until I can get into the app to see how it works, but I couldn't post my review unless I provided a score...
App is sooo difficult to sign in with. Your two step verification is the worst! I have to go to my email to get the code and your app automatically resets ...I have to sign back in....then the code is no good. Even under 5 minutes I actually have to use two devices to sign into your app on my phone. One for my email and one for your app!! Just awful.
Downloaded and opened for the first time. Was able to login. When prompted for mandatory 2FA, the screen goes white and that's where it ends. Can't continue. I can go back one screen and try again but get the same white screen afterwards. It's completely unusable. I'll go back to the website and use that until the app designers get their stuff together. Galaxy S22 Ultra with latest OS.
I have to call customer support to reset my password every single time I try to use the app. it locks me out after 2 login attempts. I have to call customer support multiple times to get someone to help me with this issue each and every single time. I don't use the app often which is its only saving grace. otherwise I would give it zero Stars
This app is terrible. It crashes just after sign in. I'm new to Highmark. I hope this isn't indicative of the health insurance quality. Reading the reviews, customers have been complaining about the app being buggy for years. Reviews are also similar for other Highmark apps. In this digital age, Highmark needs to focus more resources on fixing their app and website. I can sign into the website but the Benefits page repeatedly gives an error. How do we get up to date info about our benefits?
horrible and I just downloaded it. never set up a a count but yet they already had one set up, that's really fishy as I've never set one up or ever logged in. I hate insurance anyways as I never know what I have as our company Crete Carrier never tells us like other companies ive worked at that literally had huge group.meeting to got over all your benefits and what u had and what you can opt out of as most of this stuff I'll never use and is pointless. waisted premiummoney for a service!
App doesn't allow screenshots or the option to temporarily turn them on. Its my info and if I need an easy way to store or share allow me. Don't tell me it's for my safety and security that you don't allow it.
this is so frustrating. this would be such a great app to have IF it allowed you to sign in. it takes me to a web page to sign in, but when I put my info in, it just kicks me back to the sign in page on the app. it's ridiculous and frustrating.
purposely difficult. select boxes overlap. constantly needs to reverify on the same device. previously entered information gets deleted. I hate this app and company and I am perfectly healthy. Hate to think if I actually needed this. edit: I had a call back! Tasha was helpful! app still sucks, broken links. but it had better info than the web page. the web page is better than sitting on the phone listening to adverts before you can even select a single option, BUT, Tasha was worth the call.
I recently signed for this insurance. Downloaded the app, filled in my information and tried to login. I keep getting an error that my information is incorrect or doesn't match. WTHeck?? This is ridiculous.
every time the app is opened it tells you it needs an update so then you say well update it takes you to the store then it's just like it's not really got an update You just have to hit the open button from there? seriously surely you can afford to pay somebody to get your app right.
extremely slow and buggy app. The homepage will not load. when you get a text message saying you got a message it will not take you to the message. there's something wrong with your app and you need to fix it
*Update*- monthly statements for those that have an attached HSA account cant download the document on mobile. Fantastic. *Update*- The log in process has actually managed to get worse. They take you out of the app to a web log in and then try redirecting back to the app upon authentication. Shockingly, it doesn't work and tells you to contact the administrator. The level of incompetence is stunning, even for an insurance company.
The digital ID card option is disabled. Cannot be enabled. No other point in having this app.
I just installed because I got this through my job and when adding more info about me, I get a message saying "something went wrong". It doesn't do anything when I pick my race, ethnicity, etc. Also, when logging in, using your saved info does not work and then the keyboard does not pop up. What the hell? How does one use this app without getting frustrated?
I only downloaded the app because you can't pay your premium through the website anymore. but everything I try to pay my premium through the app it crashes and won't load so that I can. I shouldn't have to call every month and go through the automated system that takes forever to pay a bill.
EDIT: After further troubleshooting, I was able to identify the error. I located an email from Highmark with a different username as described below and was able to access the app. Still some hiccups getting in (multiple reauthentications), but able to actually access the interface and look over my Highmark benefits.
