This app does not work for me the way it is intended. When I activate the start up to the vehicle, sometimes it takes up to 3 minutes to finally start. Other automakers have a functional button on the key fob and they are able to start the vehicle more than 3 feet. The feature could be better. It would be better if the startup was on the fob and was able to reach more than a few feet. The vehicle doesn't really get hot or warm kn the inside at 10 minutes of running.

App rarely works. It always says there is no internet connection when there is full wifi or the vehicle doesn't meet conditions for auto start when doors are locked. It shows some doors open when they aren't. I've uninstalled and reinstallled the app several times since getting the vehicle. I wish I could just get a fob for auto start. I don't care about the rest of the features they force you to pay for. I likely won't renew the subscription.

Update: 2 years later, the app is noticeably more reliable in the past year. Everything functions as it should and works a little bit faster too. How can such a big brand offer (paid) Safety features that randomly sometimes don't work? Like what? Lost or locked out somewhere dodgy? Try your luck. This app is so unreliable. When it works it's great and simple to use but it's annoying when it won't work. I can only image how many people it's let's down in crucial situations.

Terrible! It takes way too long to load, way too long to start, IF it starts. Most of the time I get a message that it's "timed out". My last Mitsubishi had a key fob. I'm going back to that! UPDATE: This app hasn't worked in over a week, and before that it worked about a tenth of the time. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. When the temp is 90 degrees, it would be nice to have an app that actually works! WHEN WILL YOU BE FIXING THIS APP!

Unreliable! NEVER works when I need it. Works fine when it's 65 deg and I don't need to start my car, but NEVER works when it's cold out and everyone is most likely also trying to use the app. When logging in, I see msg saying "logging into your account", then "getting your vehicle information", then sits there for over a minute until it times out and I get "Unable to sign in. Please try again". I call them to open a ticket and their response is always, "we're having an app problem." FIX IT!!!!!

Has trouble when connected to certain public wifi. When changing connections, it logs you out of the tool. I've also had several cases where the remote temperature said it was successful but the vehicle didn't actually turn on. Had a case recently where the app said the car didn't turn on but the car did. I was able to turn off the car warm up via the app. overall decent app, wish it had some more features but the connection issues are vexing.

Never works when I actually need it to. The ap is great when I actually works. But when it's the coldest and I need to start my car in the morning I get an error logging in 80% of the time saying "something went wrong, please try again" I have my password saved with autofill so I know it's not user error. It's been doing this since I got it last year. Re-install did nothing to help.

DO NOT TRUST IT! We were locked out of our car because it apparently went off-line. Have had Ford sync for years,it has never failed once, so I assumed this was the same level of dependability. Very wrong it's about a 50/50 chance if it works. Update: after working with customer service and the dealership I can say this app is a disappointment on most every level. It is such a let down that I would even rethink this car purchase if I had it to do over .

I echo what everyone else is saying- this app glitches and needs attention!! When I try to start my vehicle it sends back the error message that my car had been started twice already and cannot be started again until I start it manually- even though it's the first time I've started it. Also it keeps signing me out and making me log in again. Very frustrating. The only way to fix it is to manually force close the app and try again. Not what you want to deal with every morning before work!!

Updated service when it was about to expire. After they got my money the app stopped working for lights, remote start, climate set, and get this - also won't let me change the limit for speed violation alert. So no matter where I am I get 20 texts a day for a speed violation alert for a set speed I made in a town that has a very low limit. I need this fixed! Please help.

Remote climate control very rarely works. All conditions are followed, but it still times out. Fix this!! UPDATE: After almost 3 years using this app, it still doesn't work. No fix either and no support. Out of maybe a hundred times I've tried it during this time, I've only gotten it to work TWICE. The lock/unlock and lights feature work fine through. We prepaid for 3 years, so when the renewal comes up we are canceling. What a waste of money!!!

Completely unreliable. This app just doesn't work. Half the time it can't connect to Mitsubishi's servers to sign in. When you can sign in, half the time remote start fails. If you're going to lock a basic feature behind a subscription service, you should make a reliable service. Bad Mitsubishi, bad. You're better off getting a 3rd party remote starter installed if you care about this functionality.

This app is extemely expensive and NOT worth the cost when it doesn't even work a 1/4 of the time. It takes forever to even connect and start; if it does connect the vehicle shuts off in 10 min and you have to continuously check the car to see if it is still running...highly inconvienent in the winter!! If lucky enough & car is still running, when you go to get in, the engine shuts off when you unlock the doors. Stupid! I will just put a different remote in for the $230/yr fee and still save $

The app keeps not only signing out, but when you try to sign in, it says UNABLE! This is absolutely ridiculous. It was great in the beginning when I had the 2 year trial. Now, paying for it, I suddenly can't log into the app as it won't allow it. I reinstalled, typed in my password, did all sorts of troubleshooting. And still having issues

Never works when you want it to... half the time says I've already started my car twice and that I need to manually start it to reset it. Lock function always times out or says there was an error. An app sounds nice in theory but it just sucks I don't have a more dependable option. In the amount time it takes my app to actually work, 90% of the time it's faster for me to just go out there are start the dang thing. Aggravating.

Almost a year in and I still can't justify the price of the app once the free trial ends. It's very clear this app and the entire idea of Mitsubishi connect was rushed. I could go into detail but I'll need more than 500 characters. Long story short. Not worth the money as of yet. Maybe if they cut the yearly price in half ( even including the 30% discount for saving a card on file... Make it half of the discounted rate) it could be worth it..

Update again! It's working again! I am giving it a 4 star because it was inconvenient to not have it work for months when I have a subscription. I gave this a 5 star at first. Now that I've had it for a while I can say I did love that I could start my car from anywhere, but now the app is not working for me. I've un-installed, reinstalled and confirmed my subscription is still active. Always errors and timing out when trying to do anything with the app. Frustrating!

it does not always work. sometimes it has read that the head lights were on,engine running, and door was open. that was not case. The car was off. if the wifi is not strong it doesn't work at all. I took it back to dealer, of course the wifi is very strong. after the promo runs out I'll have to pay for it anyway. so I deleted the app.

App will not pair with vehicle after several tries, strong cell service, and standing next to vehicle. Furthermore, login information is not saved unless pairing is complete. All information has to be input again. Edit: I had to call Mitsubishi to have them set up my account because the app would not. Even after set up, it will not connect to the vehicle and several options like remote start are not available anyway.

Since I've had this app I always run into the same issue. The Climate control can never work. The app will only let me turn my car on about 10 percent of the time. For over 2 months the app only gives me the "STOP" option has if the truck was on but it isn't on. It's somehow stuck like that. This app is great when it works. But that's usually never.
