Always have bugs. Suddenly bounced out for no reasons. Entered main page and suddenly back to virtual waiting. Bounced out when click "No" to any other booking after successfully booked a facility.
The user experience was so bad that I wanted to curse it. This morning, I tried to open the app on my Android phone. It just halted forever. This also happened to my other Android phone. No matter how many times I tried to restart the app, it gave me the same result. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, rebooted the phone. All was in vain. What a joke the app is, not to mention that the queuing system is totally unacceptable. Logging in at 7 a.m. was a nightmare experience.
This app is soo bad booking badminton courts is zero chance. Also people using courts to make money around $1000 a day.
Many bugs, no smooth transition... It could have been better planned... Many bugs encountered when tried to create an account. I need to wait up to 10 days to be able to use it once my file has been approved. The only positive note is that it should be easier than on former website to see all the slots and more user friendly as long as bugs, lags are fixed one day...
not working since last update. cannot even login and forever waiting in the virtual queue even in non peak hours
Very user unfriendly! By using Leisure Link in the past, we can easily to find all activities of a particular ball game, say gateball. But now using My SmartPlay, we have to 1. Go to "Ball Games" to select "Gateball" to get a list. 2. Go to "Others" to select "Having Fun in Elderly Exercise" + "Healthy Elderly Scheme" +"Meeting Point for the Elderly" to get another list from which to look for gateball activities. There is no where to give feedback to help improve the My SmartPlay.
Impossibly slow. It keeps showing errors literally EVERYWHERE! From upstream connection errors to generic network errors. I also got an error during payment in which I paid money but no booking was made! What a joke of a software. Is this the best HK government (or the software vendor) can do? What an embarrassment. They say they want to make HK into a tech hub. And then we have this piece of trash...
Quite shameful to think that LCSD believes this app is a smarter & more efficient system of booking. I waste more time trying to get a place in the queue. Another buddy who helps with the bookings always gets in the queue faster, which leads me to believe one phone OS is better than another. The main tennis crt that is most suitable for us all is never available. We now try a basket of places to attempt booking, but still have trouble booking now. Want just once a week and this is a challenge
Try grabbing my HKID scan photo, Keep saying permission missing ❨access to phone folders❩, when in fact user already selected to enable all permission. Turns out that the APP design never ask for access folders. 2nd annoying feature, is that it updates every other week. Seems i ve waste effort to update it hundred times but not managed to succeed booking even once. Zero star it should get
Absolute travesty of an app that has been forced on users for no apparent reason other than to make life harder for everyone. Non-intuitive, unreliable and generally typical of HK govt apps. Life was so much easier when I could simply go to the counter and pay cash for my gym ticket. A waste of everyone's time.
I wake up when the app refreshes at 7am and then we have to get into virtual queue with 10k people I've never been less than 10k I think it's rigged then I wait all that time just for all the court to be booked. they should really change the system and bring back the physical way to book courts back this new system is not good.
Bad experience. Required me remember complicated user id. Locked me out after multiple login attempts because i dont remember the id. Not even the staff know how to help Rubbish app. Test it properly before launching for God's sake. This is an app used by many elderly and children How are they supposed to work on it if even younger people like me cannot handle it???
Bad UX. It requires users to learn and memorize how to use. Esp. in apply activities in a group. I needed to mark down partners user id and the activity code. And partners needed to dig out the request from more than 10 buttons. I better learn which 10 buttons to save some time for next hectic. It is a text book bad UX design.
app performance is poor after update. i wonder if the information showed is correct or not. if you switch between days to look at available venues, it will show an error. UI is not easy to use from day 1, but now the whole experience is going downhill at full speed. if the app is made worse than before, please roll back for citizens' sake.
Using faulty AI to detect "bots" and shadowbanned my account for using VPN service or manually refreshing facilities availability.. Please fix it..

Bugs! Bugs! I can't reset the password through this app and even the official website. I got the same error, " error_email_not_found" in both app and website. The help desk asked me to go self-service machine in the LCSD venues. THE HELP DESK EVEN NOT LISTEN WHAT ERROR I ENCOUNTERED. POOR SERVICE, STUPID APP.
With the old system only the first step needs to be retried and operation was smooth after successful login. Now with this so called SmartPLAY I got network error all over the place. Did you not perform any load test? Is it that hard to implement a queueing system? All those fundings yet the result is still so ridiculously poor. Changed score to 1. Booking is totally unusable during peak hour 7am. What a garbage.
