I've had some problems with the mobile app in the past year . I constantly use this app almost daily because I shop online and I keep up with what's going on and out of my account. I wrote down my username and password but one day I couldn't log in to the app. It says an error with my password which I know is correct but after calling customer service I have to change my password . All is good after that until one day it happens again . I think this app needs to be tweaked a little bit, please.

It does what I need it to do, but I wish it had more. I lost my debit card recently and there is no option in the app to lock/ cancel the card. I had to call the number, talk to someone who sounded like they had just been woken up (it was 9PM) and jump through several hoops to get the old card canceled and a new one ordered (which took over a week to get to me.) Edit: Trying to deposit a check using the app is absolute garbage. I've tried taking pictures every which way and it always fails.

I don't write reviews very often, but this app is super laggy and does not give the correct instant balances. Not to mention that you have to click on 5 different buttons to make a transfer between accounts as opposed to the 1 "make transfer" button on the old app. I use the app for ease of use but if this is not remedied, I will close all my bank accounts including the wife's business accounts and bank elsewhere. Even the atms got a non user friendly makeover. Synovus you S#!+ the bed on this!!

I use the app primarily for mobile deposit & the camera function to take photos of the checks is always difficult for one reason or another because it has an error, or it has a difficult time capturing the back of the check (never the front, always the back only). Sometimes I have tried to get it to capture the back (in the same lighting and back drop as the front of the check capture, that worked) and after trying multiple times for 15 minutes I give up & have to waste time driving to the bank.

Had to wait a long time, but Synovus finally fixed the issue. Please fix! I have not been able to view account details since before Thanksgiving. Just did an update thinking that would fix the problem, but no. Still no account access and the app freezes up. 12/28/18 Still not working! I've called and spoke with customer service who said they would put in a ticket and call me back and let me know. Still waiting on a call back ..... may have to find another bank.

Update: cannot access account information pages at all after logging in. Really frustrated that the only thing I can access is Ledger Balance, but not account details. Original review: I like the reliability of the app, but it's very annoying when you cant tell if something had actually cleared your account. Pendings in a new color, or maybe even an extra pendings page like the bb&t app would be nice. Otherwise, pretty great for checking your account when away from home.

Awful! They do not offer a mobile app for a regular business account. I have to go to the internet and pull up their website or bookmark it. Their software is extremely antiquated compared to other Banks (yes, I opened another account, my husband is being bull headed). They offer minimal alerts by email ONLY, but with all of the spamming going on who gets them, we don't and if we do they're too late. Also, no matter when deposits are made checks come out 1st. Guaranteed to bounce. Nice!

I usually do text banking, but was told recently that y'all no longer do that. that's fine, I can do the app. except the app WILL NOT work. it wont even open. I have tried multiple times over multiple days. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. nothing is working. I am overseas until July so unless I want to pay an obscene amount, I cant call. I cant use your website, as it says I dont have access to this server. texting is obviously out, and your app doesnt work. can someone please help me

Love this app. Wish we can see a description of all pending items(intraday). Had to wait over 23 minutes for Customer Care last evening and unfortunately they could not tell me two transactions that were pending from a teller. Had to wait until this morning to view my transactions and finally have a piece of mind that the two items were actual checks I wrote during Christmas of 2021.

I like Synovus, but their app needs work. I prefer the app of my bank (AFB&T), which they took over. It had a wonderful pie chart, which made it really easy to see where most of my spending was going in a single glance. Also, it's was just alot easier to use. It would be nice if they just adopted the same format.

I am seriously about to switch banks over an app, and I can't believe I'm saying that. I have been with Synovus for over 10 years. This app, when it is "working," does not show me up-to-date balances. Transferring from checking to savings now has about 3 extra steps. Sometimes I just can't get in at all. This is making me crazy!

I have reacurring payments taken out which will not let me unmark the box. I NEVER arthurize any of them. whent to the bank was told there was nothing they can do. was told that it is coming from over seas. can they not be blocked from doing it again? both have the same routing numbers. the app won't let me uncheck the box. I have took the app off and put it back on. how can I get them to stop stealing my money again and again fix my app . they have my bank account numbers!!! That is the banks

Never had an issue depositing a check through the app til now. Inconvenient if the app isn't operating properly.

This is by far the worst app for any bank that I use. Even making an online payment is impossible so I mailed a check long before the due date and they hit me with a late fee anyway. First late fee I've ever had.

I used to be able to see a piece graph of my expenses over the month but it seems that has been removed, making it dramatically harder to plan

This app previously let me enter the exact amount, now it's not if I want to transfer 69.26, it's letting me enter in 69 when I hit the number 2 it enters in 9. i have cleared cache also reinstalled the app and it has not fixed the issue I believe that there is glitch in the software.

So far I am happy with Synovus Bank, but I really hate this app. I keep getting locked out after only one bad password try (Not 3), then have to call and reset password to something totally new. Rinse, repeat. Thinking of closing my account because of this. I do bank with other banks/apps and never have this issue. I closed my account with the bank due to issues with the app.

This app is easy to use and very convenient! You can set it to show your balance without having to login to the account, use a finger print scanner if your phone has one, and the app will remember your email if you tell it to but not your password. Password must always be entered unless you have the aforementioned finger print scanner. The app will not allow screenshots as well. I also love that I can deposit my checks from home! All-in-all a great app for mobile banking!
