The ads are oppressive. I feel like I get one no matter what I do. Not only that, but for an app geared towards children, the ad choices are terrible. I have had one with a scantily clad woman and one explicitly encouraging gambling. Yes, I am aware that I can do the monthly $5 subscription to get rid of ads. But to be honest, for what this app provides and the state of today's economy, I can't justify another recurring charge.
I was hoping this game would be more like the handheld. There are aspects that are similar, but I find the 3D versions to be creepy. The sound effects and noises in the game are awfully annoying. I muted it anytime I played. I'd get multiple ads a day; one when I switch from being "outside" to "inside" my house, and one to go into the bedroom section. Very annoying. To top it off, I accidentally spent 100 diamonds that I'd been saving, on 24 hours of double rewards for an event.
It's nice to experience the nostalgia with this game. Most of the characters are cute interpretations of the originals, but my biggest issues come from the ads. I don't mind them too much, but for some reason, none of the ads play completely and end up freezing the game, leaving me with no rewards and wasted time. Because the ads keep freezing, I can't pick up certain foods and items necessary to finish certain careers (it isn't an internet issue either). Please tell me there is a workaround!
Haven't had issues with bugs or anything. There are ads, but I feel like most of the ads I watch are me wanting the rewards doubled. It feels like a nice throwback, but packaged for the fact that we all have phones now. I'm personally a hair off getting the paid option (just gives you more to do in the app other than caring for your Tamas and mini games). The only gripe is that I wish I could swap characters, but I assume with time you can swap to get all the stuff you missed.
The game itself is fun and adorable. However, there are ads every where. This wouldn't normally bother me, I understand they need to pay the bills. But the ads are incredibly intrusive: 30 seconds of full screen and unskippable, banner, ect. Some of them are also highly inappropriate. I was playing with my 5 year old niece and an add pops up with a woman in very sexy lingerie. Awkward. I'll just play with my keychain Tamagotchi's.
It's really fun. I hope they add more to the game, more adventure, and more choices. Adding more characters for seasonal rewards for playing games would be a really nice choice. I hope the developing team sees this message. You're doing an amazing job. It's really relaxing, but really repetitive in a few ways, sometimes boring. I would highly recommend downloading for a slow pace player who likes simple games.
I love this game! I was a teenager when the original Tamagotchi came out and had four of them hooked in my backpack, played all the time. I do have a request. Can you make the Tamagotchi world bigger, more stores, more stuff like the birds/ghosts to tap on for coins or diamonds, ways to visit other Tamagotchi's homes, more activities for them to do, more, more, more! Please.. it would make the game so much more fun!!💜
I've been playing this game for a several years now and I love it! Its not just taking care of the Tamagotchi, you can also change their clothes, help the Tamagotchi attend and learn in school, interact with adult Tamagotchi's apartment tower and play plenty of minigames. So if you ever get bored of just taking care of the little Tamagotchi, no worries, there's plenty of other stuff to do in this stuff! Once I had a problem with the game and the developers were so nice and patient with me.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT A MOBILE GAME SHOULD BE. Occasional ads, but not so much that you drown. Any in-game items that exist can be worked for and obtained. You have the option to pay real money for things, but the option to work for it is also there. You get benefits from most ads. Overall, perfect example of a mobile game and the expectations we should hold mobile games to.
I was hesitant on playing this game at first, but its not that bad. Its kind of cool for a nostalgic/modern mesh up and to pass time. However, I will probably eventually finish it and uninstall it. I actually don't mind the ads. It helps when getting certain food, speeding up sleep time, quick rewards, etc. It may be a slow process, but it adds up. It just takes a little patience. For those complaining of time or getting repetitive characters, there are tips online how to work around that. :)
It's pretty wonderful, honestly. I used to have a tamagotchi when I was little, and although I miss my little pixel babies it is pretty fun to see what they look like in color. You don't even have to watch the ads unless you want to double your coins or something. The one forced ad is like 5 seconds and you can skip. The game and the minigames are incredibly relaxing, fun, and helps my anxiety a ton. Highly recommend. :)
This game is very easy to set down and attend to real life demands. Most of the minigames are lock screen or change screen friendly, as in you won't lose progress if you have to put your phone down or answer a call. The only issue I've had is with Eriitchi. I'm not sure if maybe I dont understand the mechanics of the game, but all of my other Tamogotchis seemed to evolve without doing anything other than fulfilling their basic needs & requests. And I cant take photos of it playing!!!!
I finally downloaded it to see how it played and so far I'm liking it. Kinda like My Talking Tom. Granted, that game got boring after awhile, but still. My only problem with this game so far would be the wants and needs, they go down WAY too fast. I just filled all of the needs and only a minute or two went by and got notified he needed tending to. Again. So I turned the notifications off. Slow that down a bit, please.
Brings me back to the old days but with a modern twist! Great game to pass time. The characters are so cute! There is so much to do within the game, you never run out of things to do! I love the fact that you want watch adds to bypass things or to earn things early!! That alone keeps the game going without it taking hours!!! Would definitely recommend and would download again!
I love the game because I've loved Tamagotchis since I was a kid. However, I paid the extra money for some welcome package and the amount of ads AFTER spending money is INSANE. Also, the "spin for a free gift" feature is absolutely without a doubt BROKEN. It lands on the worst prize, 100 gold, 95% of the time and that is not how prize wheels work. It's really frustrating because the wheel does the exact same movements (speeding up and slowing down on the same points) and everything every single time. They don't even TRY to make it look random.
I 💗 this game. The controls are easy. The characters are nostalgic to the old game but revamped with great technology. I love how they react and have their own opinions. The character design is adorable and the overall game is fun to look at and play. The mini games are great as well. Great time waster and fix for people who want to take care of something without actually doing anything. This is the first tamagotchi that didnt die on me. Its miraculous.
I really love this game everything is fabulous.. Graphics gameplay, the controls. My only real issue is why does their stats go down so quickly? I left my Tomagotchi in bed for maybe ten minutes and it was dirty.. Who gets dirt on their face while laying? And why can't their sleep pattern be longer than a couple hours?? Nobody can stay playing this game every two hours when most sleep at least 8 hours a night.. I suggest making their sleep at least be longer so we don't have to rush to the game.
Absolutely adore this game and the fact that you don't have to pay actual money to advance. It's also nice just watching a few ads to accomplish things. More apps should have this approach. Keep up the good work! (PS. Perhaps add more content , such as clothing, furniture, and town decorations. Then it would be perfect. But, I'm sure that's being worked on.)
Not your original Tamagoychi. It has many elements (feed, bathe, clean up after) but is padded with too many "extras." To get the fun meter up, you have to play mini games. To get ceryain foods, you have to watch adds. It could take you 10-15 minutes to deal with your Tamagotchi. Then there are the adds... they are tediculously long (around 20 secpnds.) If you decide you like the game I highly siggest buying the $3.99 intro package to save yourself from utter frustration.
A great and very cute Tama game. You can pay some real money but don't have to. It seems this Tamagotchi is forever since they don't seem to die or leave when neglected. You also can play anytime since they need some sleep but don't switch off for the night. The outdoor features can be a bit tricky (which can be played, can you choose placing? ) but the minigames are entertaining. Definitely a five star game.
