500 characters are not enough to fully articulate the problems I have with this app, so I'll give a short run-down. They make it difficult to log in, they throw unwanted ads in your face, the app itself regularly freezes or fails to load, and they force you to save a payment method, when maybe I'd rather just input my information manually. Bottom line, I only use this to pay my bill, but Verizon acts like they don't want my money. Avoid this if you can.

I'm going to join the MANY 1 star reviews, because I, like others, had auto pay, and all of my account information RANDOMLY shut off, and alongside that, my discount as well, and it wasn't due to insufficient funds, there was more than enough funds, it just stopped. When I tried to re-enter my account information, it won't accept the account information, even though it's the same information I was using before, in which auto-pay had been successfully working for several months.

I have had Verizon for years. At first, this app wasn't very reliable and had various issues. As time has gone on, the app has been pushed in a direction that allows us to access things we didn't know existed. One example is that there is a promise to pay option, where you state the date you will be able to pay your bill (late fees may still apply) so that you dont have a service interruption due to late payments.

The app refuses to accept my payment, giving me constant errors whenever I try and pay using the same card I have been for years. Can't edit the payment information, can't add a new payment, can't even pay for my mobile plan. The app has been getting progressively worse with every update. Honestly incredibly disappointing that I'm spending as much as I am for service that doesn't even allow me to maintain it.

The only reason to have the app before was to get My Access rewards. They use to give out gift cards, free movies, and other things. Now the things they "give" you are concert tickets that you need to buy. They sometimes give gift cards but it's first come first serve and they don't even notify or say when they will give them out. The app is useless now. Been with them for 20 years all I've gotten are increased bills and they can't even give out decent rewards. Might be time to jump ship.

Lots of advertising for things I wouldn't buy and it's difficult to navigate. The drop down menus are not detailed enough and it's hard to find what you're looking for (except push to buy more phones and accessories NONSTOP). The "deals" offered are almost always for new lines only, they don't really try to retain current customers. I appreciate payment options making these expensive products instantly attainable without waiting and saving responsibly.

After being a customer for 15 years I cancelled service. I added a data boost twice, but it never worked. The app is nothing but marketing garbage, constant adds for credit cards and electronics but the app doesn't function when I needed it. Spent time with CS to fix it, but the agent was unable to figure out the problem. Why pay so much for so little?

I feel like this app used to work effectively. Now when I open the app, I can clearly see my plan and and some other basic info on the main page, BUT when I click on any of the links in the drop down menu (i.e., payment, account, plan, data, etc.) it goes to a blank white page. So, I cannot pay my bill, check out other plans, update my account info, etc. I am unable to do anything other than view the main page after I open this app. Big Bummer.

The app is constantly losing connection. It's so bad, I can't even finish setting up my service. Restarting the phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app don't work. Our Internet and data connections are great and we're using a brand new phone purchased directly from Verizon. Any time you try to just do what you need directly on the Internet, it sends you to the app and the app is saying that it can't currently connect. You call customer service for help and you're on hold for over an hour.

App has gotten worse over time. I can no longer find how many days are left in my billing cycle, or data usage for the entire plan (only each individual line, so I have to do the math myself). The home screen widget used to display this, but now it only shows this phone's usage, which isn't very useful. Overall, this used to be much more useful than it is today.

this app is one of the dumbest that is on my phone. it doesn't remember your log in, doesn't recognize it's being used on your device, when you go to pay it tells you its "faster if you download their app" and cant give you your account balance but if you try to pay a 2nd time will say your balance is paid in full. saved passwords are always incorrect, too, and need to be reset every time. I can't even get into the main app. It's not useful. Fire the creator/programmer.

The app automatically logs me out from time to time. Also, the app never remembers my username/phone number even when I check the box. I also had settings set to login via bio authentication (i.e., finger print) but it only allows that once in a while. These bugs have been going on for a while now. Verizon, put some $$ into updating your app. Where does the $$ I spend monthly go?

For the past year Version's app keeps freezing and gets stuck when switching tabs. Every single time I open it up and select any tab (Data, Payment, Account, etc) the screen stays white and doesn't load anything. I keep having to force close and restart. Reinstalling doesn't help either, I've done that a dozen times already. I *think* it might have something to do with biometrics/fingerprint popup glitching out, preventing the new screen from fully loading.

Very disappointing in the digital age that this is the best they can do. I have used the biometric login since day one and have only ever used one answer for the challenge question yet this app refuses to log in...although from my desktop no problems. I won't even get into paying significantly extra to get a sport package that can only be used if you are sitting a home connected to one of the cable boxes. sadly not any real alternatives in my area.

It's never accurate, just like my bill. The first year no problem the second year problems all year long. Everyone on the phone is a liar, they all say they fixed the problem but really just want to get you off the phone. This horrible app is a perfect representation of the horrible experience I have had with this company. I wouldn't advise the app or the service...

Cant login, doesnt recognize password. had to reset the password to the same password. the security code entry block is errored, the backspace doesnt work. Exited the app, restarted the app, the login feature disappeared, so it's not there anymore. Cant login at all. I dont know why I was ever logged off in the first place. all this to figure out my voicemail set up. havent been a customer for a whole month. There is no biometrics login options. I mean what else can I say?

If I could give negative stars, I don't think even that would be enough at how useless and frustrating this app is. We made the mistake of resetting our wifi router, and wanted to rename it. No, our router was not listed in our devices, and even using the webpage, we were constantly redirected to the app, and were forced to sign in multiple times. Absolutely atrocious, and was only successful in raising my bp to astronomical levels.

Hot garbage. The app frequently crashes when trying to open links from emails (that are supposed to open in the app, for some reason). In addition there's a bug that has been existing for at least 4 months, probably much longer, where when trying to obtain a temporary pin number to access your account the system sends a text message with a 6 digit pin number but the app wants a 4 digit pin. Come on Verizon, get it together! This app is more of an obstacle than it is a help.

App gave a notification, and when I selected it, the app opened and said "Oh no, your session has expired. Please sign in again." When I click sign in, it rapidly cycles a few screens, then brings me back to the same error. I am stuck in that loop and it never lets me sign in. When I select to save my login credentials, the app never does and I have to enter them again every single time. I cannot get logged in on the web, and the app will not let me add a payment method. It's almost like they WANT you to miss your payment so that you have to pay a late fee. Absolute trash app, and I will be switching carriers ASAP. The app just tried to advertise the app to me... from within the app. Then it said the app wasn't available! It also showed an ad that I qualified for free Sling TV, and when I clicked the link, it said I did not qualify. Despite clicking the "remember me" box every time I log in, I have to enter my user name and password, EVERY TIME I LOG IN. Now that I am trying to log in to pay my bill, it says "My Verizon is temporarily available." I guess they don't want my money. Previously, when I was trying to pay my bill, it said there was a problem with my payment method," but did not specify what it was. It took a bunch of digging through the innagivable app to find the payment methods section, and I had to investigate all my payment methods just to find one expiration date needed to be updated, which required re-entering all of the information for that card. This app is a dumpster fire, and I think it was poorly designed to frustrate you into not paying your bill, so that the company could charge late fees. Brilliant, but evil.

I would have given it a higher rating, but for whatever reason, last month it decided my primary checking account debit card was no longer acceptable, even though the account is in good shape, and refused to process it. I made payment at a local Verizon center and they charged for the "service" of taking my payment. The same thing happened this month. I tried to remove the card & add it again. Still nothing, except a late payment fee in the process. Glitches like that are inconvenient & a waste of time.
