This app is awful. Every time I open it I have to verify my account AGAIN — even though I already did it multiple times. It sends me codes, I enter them, it logs me in for 10 seconds, then immediately asks me to verify again. I’ve verified my account more times than I can count, and still it freezes, throws errors, or just kicks me out.
awful awful awful. Just moved address and WiFi keeps switching off or everything just buffers. I can't access the app no more, even after uninstall and installing it back on. it just keeps sending me back to sign in page. am going to move to another broadband company. never had any issues till now and this has been going on for over a month. been told there is a reset button on the box but this does not work either.
Awful app, if it isn't randomly logging me out for no good reason, it is telling me it can't connect to the broadband kit in the home. Takes weeks or sometimes months to get the app to work properly via contacting them & then that lasts a few weeks at most. Nevermind how bad the Internet itself is, which constantly cuts out. Used to be a good company.
What's the point? An app that doesn't work despite me trying everything to log in. I can't even register my account, the registration link just refreshes the page - it tries to go forward then goes back again. Can't log in on a browser either (yes I have cleared the cookies and tried incognito mode). How can a company that specialises in the internet and mobile phones make an app and a website that are so poor?
You should implement biometric login, just like every other utility, phone, banking app etc. It's not exactly reassuring being able to fire up the app fully logged in without it asking for any credentials but with all your billing info on display. Typing a password each time is too much hassle so what's wrong with a bloomin fingerprint?!
App works fine , but after I changed addresses, about 2 months ago , the old account is still visible on the app and it is closed , the new account is not visible . After raising the issue with several teams and being lied wasting more than 24 hours all together on their call centers , my Internet access was ended as the payment was not made ( not being able to set up a direct debit on their app) . The agent are really bad , lying about the estimated time and the process . avoid!
it doesn't allow me to sign in or do anything at all. it's absolutely rubbish I don't know why I have it downloaded because it just takes up storage without actually doing whatever it's supposed to do. when I rang them I was told uninstall it and then download again I did that and it still doesn't work. it signed me out after an update despite the keep me signed in being ticked and I've been unable to sign in ever since the update despite following those instructions.
everything was going fine until the app changed. I've had to reset my password, and after trying to gain entry to my account through the app, it's now showing an error message and asking me to start again verifying my email. in fact I've done this 6 times now. I can't wait for the contract to end as I'm giving my hard-earned to someone that actually cares. edit: I can't even sign-in on the website. the fancy logo flashes are impressive but that's as far as I can go. Awful!
I’ve been trying to link my Virgin Media account with my O2 account and the process is an absolute nightmare. It keeps asking me to verify my email address. I’ve entered my email multiple times, clicked the verification link sent to my inbox, and every time it just takes me straight back to the same page where I started. I’m basically going round in circles with no progress at all. Gonna start changing broadband because Virgin Media is rubbish.
Only came here to rate my experience with virgin as one of the worst experiences. It won't remember who you are, you need to link to a password but it forgets you, why have they made it so hard. Update 04/03. Now can't even get in to my app to view my bill as it takes me straight through to O2 app. You're a multi million pound company. How hard is it to make an app that works.
Can't open app. Tried opera, Google Chrome and Samsung Internet as defaults for login. Clicking login opens a window and flicks straight back to login screen. Also different issue but similar. I can't reset my security password for the phone as this also does a similar thing following the link on email. It chucks me out and says to use a pee authorised device or turn a vpn off. I don't use a vpn and can't login to the app so it's hard to even talk to anyone
Pretty useless. I wanted to add my device for authentication, page timed out then just reported the page had expired. Tried to go in and use the help page, same result. App is the latest version. I force stopped the app and cleared data and cache. Still the same. Interestingly, the 'upgrade my package' route works flawlessly. Funny that.

Repeatedly reminding me my contract expires in a month but never loads my renewal options/package upgrades at all and says to go on live chat. Live chat poor, but advisor insists I have been given another year at my current rate, but there is absolutely no confirmation of this anywhere!
This is the worst app I've ever used, I tried to update my TV package. The app does not load the required page. I gave up after 2 hours. I find it hard to believe a company like virgin can not effectively manage a simple thing like an app
Every time I click sign in, it doesn't even allow me to input my login details and throws me back to the sign in page. Been unable to log in on app or online for months
Pointless. Want to try order a WiFi pod. Need this app. Click login - get sent to page - enter details - get sent verification email - click verification link - get told to create password or passkey - error. Repeat over and over and over. Should be able to just phone up and ask for a WiFi pod. Then they just send one out and charge accordingly. Shouldn't have to prove you need one using an app that doesn't even work
doesn't even have the most basic of required functions such as check your upcoming appointment (what date and time). or the ability to chat with a chatbot or even a telephone. basic stuff that customers need.
app won't let even save my parent control security ,For example blocking websites and won't let me save the update , and say "Sorry the changes you made were not saved, please try again" and I did but keep repeating....
We have not been able to access this app for months. After log in, it just shows a 'forbidden error' message. Why haven't Virgin fixed this yet? This is 2026 and not 1996! really utterly useless.
Its seems this app never wants to let you in to access your account. Constantly going round in circles to reset password and verify email. So bad.
