I've had to stop the MyDrive part of the app from running and will probably uninstall the app completely as it's draining my battery badly I think it's better to have a working phone for an emergency than save a few quid on my insurance renewal if this is what it's going to do I'm sure it wasn't this bad, about a year ago when I first installed it, but now I have to try keep my phone on constant charge all day. Relatively unsophisticated app. The bit which has a summary of any investments is OK, but the My Drive feature needs an awful lot of work to make it a useful feature. I went for a bike ride, was cycling on cycle routes, but it still thought I was driving and assessed me on that! The phone distraction element just doesn't work at all. If you stop, get out of your car and use your phone in a shop, it incorrectly considers you to be using your phone while driving. Shame, it could be a lot better.
Registered myself on the web interface to take a closer look at my pension. All went smoothly. Later decided to download the app for ease of access and cannot log in. Similar issue on web browser. It looks like you need to send IT guys to squish the gremlins pleaguing your service. I know my rating does not reflect app functionality but so far I was not able to access my account at all. I will update my review when I will be able to actually use the app.
my aviva app had locked me out of my account,I've tried several days,phoned emailed got no answers .I've uninstalled the app ,reinstalled the app I changed my password even though I hadn't forgot it .still locked out each time you send a code to key in ,where you key in doesn't come up ,you send the code to message that doesn't show up,I have to come out of the app ,go back in start again for the same thing to happen again .I receive the email then nothing happens . completely locked out .-10
Since the update I was unable to access - "cannot access at this time, try later" later never came so discovered the update! Loaded but then it would not let me "Manage your pension" - screen 'freezes' after stating "loading, please wait". Telephone support couldn't fix. Sent email to generic email address with screenshot - waiting response. Currently a useless app.! I did uninstall and reinstall but made no difference- I note other reviews have the exact same problem
The MyDrive functionality in the MyAviva app needs looking at. The link to choose if i was a passenger does not work. That means journeys where I am a passenger cant be removed, and instead someone else's poor driving can affect MyDrive score! This used to work fine before but it has stopped working since the end of November / start of December. Deleting and re-installing the app makes no difference, and the issue still exists.
This app is a total disaster... ive updated twice and reinstalled 3 times and its appears to get worse even though ive fully allowed all the relevant access to my Samsung S23. My Drive is useless. It didnt record my last 600 round trip, however, each time i walk into my garden the app records this as a journey; same as when i take recycling out the front for collection. it has me speeding above 20mph walking to the pub or local shops and you now cant delete these journeys in new vers.
Since the update where the app was crashing it now appears that I am unable to delete journeys on the "My Drive" section if I'm not the person driving. Not sure why but please can you sort this out as I don't drive all the time & my partners driving is somewhat worse than mine.
Late November to mid December the App was continually stopping. Also an annoying and irrelevant message about old versions of the App appeared repeatedly. It was up-to-date and had been reinstalled, cache cleared etc. The issue now appears to have been fixed.
The function to remove certain journeys when you're not driving has failed again. The link is there but doesn't work (especially annoying when you're given a lift by a friend who speeds everywhere). A reinstall of the app doesn't correct this problem.
Aviva you need to sort out MyDrive!! No better after latest update 9/12/25. Still records me walking as driving and is seriously affecting my score as it won't allow to delete the phantom trips 😡 I have tried uninstalling and everything else you have suggested. Support is really poor - sort it out! 😡 07/01/26 latest update has let me delete phantom trips and journeys where I wasn't driving. Going to see how it goes and I may improve the rating
stopped working on my Galaxy s10e after the last update. basically gets to the manage your pension (SIPP) page and hangs. I've tried reporting this several times but no response 😕 And yes, I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times along with clearing the cache!
MyDrive was working great but now will not allow me to delete journeys where I weren't driving this recording false data, app offers me option to delete but will not delete said journeys also recording false/ghost journeys ie journey around and through houses and fields when I'm actually in bed????? Have now turned off due to 'ghost' journey's when I was actually in bed in middle of the night with my phone charging on bedside table !!!!?
the app worked fine but for some reason I now can't get access to my sipp account to make a withdrawal. It says " loading please wait" then keeps hanging indefinitely. App now not fit for purpose and will have to phone during office hours which isn't ideal. Annoyed is an understatement to access my own money. 🤬
The second I put the first letter of my postcode, it tells me that it's 'Invalid'. It's now gone. I didn't have it long. ( About 4 minutes) It's the same phoning them as well.
Since I started using the app I have not been able to download any documents to my phone. Despite many requests to Aviva they have not been able to resolve this issue. I wonder - has anyone else had this problem?
App keeps crashing on my Samsung Galaxy M31. Have tried to remove and reinstall, still does the same. Shame really, was hoping to use it to reduce my renewal quote. UPDATE: Have tried rebooting phone which seems to have stopped it crashing. Will run it for a bit and update this review depending on what happens. FURTHER UPDATE: Nope, still crashing. Also having trouble logging in, have opted for fingerprint, but after using my fingerprint, then prompts to use password.
Like the ability to see all my policies in one place and amending them is easy. MyDrive is a different story, I've now had it on three different phones and every time I have tried to activate it there has been issues. I have never had is work properly.
One star is a little generous TBH, the app allows me to view my Wealth Portfolio value and F all else. Having left the review I have been asked by the development team to fill out a form to report the issue. Basically I am being asked to submit what is known as a Fault Report, so my question would be: What do you pay your actual test team to do?
Mydrive has started working but now I can't delete the journeys where I was a passenger. My renewal is now due and I am unable to delete a journey where I was a passenger and was using my phone. I didn't know that I won't be able to remove this journey later. Is there help line email? The chat box is useless.
