I hoped it would have improved since I 1st used it years ago, but was wrong. I selected what I had from the available list. Hit "find recipes". Oh, cool, homemade butterfingers! Oh, nevermind. Need candy corn, which I didn't select. Went back to my list, unchecked NUMEROUS items I never clicked. "Find recipes". Same thing, no change. Inaccurate, and doesn't tell you if you're missing ingredients from a possible recipe.

I always used to use the browser version of this, and this is about equal to that. The recipes are good, most of the bugs described in the reviews are fixed, and overall it's a great app for when you don't know what to bake or cook. The only things I'd recommend are fixing an issue where if you add an ingredient that you have while in the recipe list it locks the recipes you see and you have to go back and re-do it to spawn more, and filtering + search by type (eg. dessert, dinners, snacks etc.)

Needs improvement. I downloaded and went through all my ingredients. The recipes were not anything I would make. This app would be greatly improved if you allowed users to add their own ingredients. The lists you have is about 3% of the ingredients I have in my pantry. An internet search will be more accurate than this app. Really good idea so keep working on it!

Not great. I really think it should prioritize recipes that only include ingredients that you have. Going through the list of results I did find some recipes that didn't include anything that I didn't have but they weren't at the top. What's the point of this app if not to show you what you can do with what you have? I do like that it shows things that you can make with just getting a couple more ingredients but, it should definitely sort by percentage of ingredients in the user's kitchen.

Inclusive broad ingredient list, but it seems to not save my selected ingredients across devices. So if I want to pull it up on pc or bf needs to see from his phone, we have to select all 100+ ingredients again. There's also some misspellings and a weird "test" listing that makes the app seem unfinished and unprofessional. I loved the site years ago and I recall it saved my input then.

White screen on opening. Nothing else. Tried closing, reinstalling and even a reboot. Sorry guys, but to have an app that doesn't even open is just poor. Uninstalled and hopefully you may one day get it working. Update : App now opens and everything but the Full Kitchen Tab works. It worked once, but when you click on any of the options, nothing happens. So if I select Dairy or Snacks, nothing happens, even if I close and open it.

I'm so happy this is finally an app! Sucha useful tool. However, the full kitchen category buttons only work some of the time. For example, I can't get dairy to work at all. I'll keep trying, because fish did eventually work after I pressed it enough. I'll change to 5 stars once this is fixed. :)

I tried the using the website first and I checked the ingredients I have on hand such as chicken, butter, etc. The first recipes it gave me is Spicy garlic steak - um garlic nor steak was on my list another was diet cola chicken well at least it got chicken right. Lol. I thought maybe the app was better but no it does the same thing. I tried another app with the same ingredient list I have and it popped up great recipes so I'll stick with it. This app is being Uninstalled. I don't recommend.

List is missing basic pantry staples (lentils, quinoa, dry garbanzo beans...) and the recipes generated are either really basic (do I really need an app to tell me that I can make sunny side up eggs?), ridiculous ("beer corn"‽), or with items I didn't say I had. Really have no idea why even the most clueless of cooks would use this app. Edit: utter ridiculous response from the developers, I can't see how one would justify using this app. "recipes just for laughs"?? At least address my concerns!

Awful! I've never used this app before yet it says my email is in use. I asked it to send me a password reset multiple times. Nothing!! Not even in my junk box. So I used another email address I very rarely use. Apparently that email address is in use too?! So I tried using it as a guest and the ingrediants list was very limited. Unless it is an american app, it couldn't find gammon or minced beef. Shocking! I'm looking at alternative apps now.

I can no longer log in and I put my private information (address because I was giving benefitbof doubt) in after creating my account .... Just to end up not even having anyform of an account. Claimed my email was already in use but wouldn't send me a password reset. Very disappointed. I cannot save things without being logged in and I cannot write things down with a shattered hand and arm.

I really like the web browser version, I can't sign in to the app, even with the forget password new password it keeps telling me incorrect email or password.. but when I sign in to the web version it's the email and password I'm using.. not sure if it's a bug, but I'd love the app once it works.

I've just been given an Alexa, and found it works with MyFridge. I've been looking for a kitchen inventory app, so decided to try it. Failed at the first fence! My favourite cheese is Brie. Nowhere in the app, and apparently no way of adding it! Uninstalled.

What would be nice is if the app saved what food items you have so that you don't have to add everything every time you open it up. It's also bad about giving you recipes for things you are missing ingredients for.

"Email already in use." I went through several emails trying to create an account and apparently they somehow all exist already. FALSE! I just created a new email account and it still said it existed already and with a new phone number and an address. I've always enjoyed this site. App, not so much. I've been using the sight on and off for nearly 15 years. Maybe more.

So many typos, not able to find a lot of dishes that I searched for, i.e. au gratin potatoes, etc. I tried this app for a couple of days but now have deleted it. They also show recipes that I don't have ingredients for.

So I carefully took the time to add almost everything in my kitchen only to get recipes that include items I don't have... What was the point of addressing everything in my kitchen if you're just going to throw in something I don't have as a main ingredient?

Where are the recipes? I mean I like bacon, but not that much. I have tried many ingredients but outside of chicken eggs and bacon it seem no content is available. As an example, broccoli returns 1 result: for milkshake... 0_o. Genuinely great idea but not with this implementation. Shame really.

Useless... Can't save recipes without making a profile. Made a profile, stupid app refuses to log in. Doesn't give me an error or anything, just keeps sending me back to the main screen after hitting log in, then says I have to log in to save recipes.

I do like the website unfortunately every time I try and save a recipe it tells me I have to login. So I go ahead and I log in and try and save the recipe again and the same prompt comes up that says you have to log in. So I go ahead and I log in a second time but to no avail there is no way to save anything on this app because it's broken. What I have resorted in doing is taking a picture and printing out the recipe. That's not how this website is supposed to work... Or is it?
