The app works fine although its functionality could also be provided in a web page and save space in the device, since it does not work without internet connectivity anyway. One thing that could be improved is the data usage report: it shows multiple amounts for the same day, whilst an option to summarize by a given granularity could be much more valuable to the user (total every 12h, every day, every week).
Absolute garbage fire app. I've never seen such an atrocious mobile network app in my life, and can't understand how it has the rating it does. It's unusable, endless network error messages, endless loading wheels to no where. Three reinstalls, two phone restarts, and 30 minutes later I've only just managed to add my number before it crashed again. Thank god this sim doesnt have a contract because I doubt I'll be doing this for long.
Very disappointing minute tracking. I’m appalled by how unreliable Lebara’s international minute counting is. The first time it happened I contacted customer service with evidence and was offered a refund, but it keeps happening every time. I’m repeatedly told I’ve run out of minutes, yet when I add up my call history I still have several minutes left - the last time I had 20 minutes left. I cannot constantly police my usage and ask for corrections. It really undermines trust in the service.
apparently I'm low on data, open app, update required. nothing anywhere telling me the update will not take away my data. cannot b trusted. also you buy extra data and it runs out at the end of your monthly plan... so guaranteed to not get to use it all then cos it's likely near the end of my month cos I'm low on data..
Apart from having a terrible signal in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. GO EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN TOPPING UP DATA. I was foolish enough to let my 30gb date run out before the renewal date. So called the top up line and purchase a £5 top up which says you get 5gb data... YOU DON'T. Within checking a few emails and my back account the £5 was swallowed up. I don't do Facebook etc, videos or games. So I had to go on the app and select data top up which isn't listed on the top up line. Time to switch.
Roaming in India, appalling as my phone wouldn't connect to the network. Followed the text from Lebara on how to connect to the network, some of the instructions in the text were missing!!! Spent 4 hours, 2 nights running whilst on holiday, trying to call and chat on their website. All the contact numbers for Lebara wouldn't work. Asked for help with my APN settings on live chat, the chat stopped!!! 5 gb of data has been used up in 1 day even though my phone says no network connection all day!!!
- App keeps stopping and reloading - Can't get the chat to work - click the button and nothing happens. - I keep getting a pop up asking me to add a nickname to each of my numbers, when I do I just get a message saying "Oops. An error occurred, please retry". - I tried to delink an old number and get an error message "too many attempts, try later" I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app - makes no difference. I don't have issues with any other apps so don't think the problem is with my phone.
The app itself is fine, lets you check your usage etc. Easy enough to use and looks ok. The issue I have is the app registers App Links for the Lebara website but doesn't support the web pages, so if you go and search for esim support on lebara, once you tap the link to go to the help section on the site the app will open on the homepage without displaying the article you wanted. It can be quite frustrating when you are looking for a support topic.
Been with Lebara for about 2 years now. Very good price for 5Gb monthly, good coverage (O2 network, even at Glastonbury!) and customer support was helpful when I wanted to upgrade data but already paid the 5Gb the day before. Recommended by me for sure. Only £2.50 for the first year too if you get the offer, Martin Lewis website has a link.
liberals data is bad, when ur in any area. it doesnt work the little '+', doesn't appear. its not even just me, its ppl with data as well around me who are experiencing this common issue. Its unfair to that its more of a subscription than a payment bc u pay the deal even when u barely fully finish the data, especially when it doesnt work. its unfair??
They are doing scams to their customers....1st they made a call to you and say you got a discount from there side....and after few minutes they will ask your banking details ....if you didn't share any details to them they will cut cancellation fees of 100_1000 pounds
Am leaving Lebara because of the poor deals on app for loyal customers. Plus I have been trying to change my email address on the app for over a month. The code to change my email takes 30 minutes to arrive but is only valid for one minute. The help desk promised to sort it. Instead this morning they ended my account payment. I have requested a PAC code and within minutes the retententions team offered me a new deal. No thanks, loyalty means nothing to Lebara.
A nightmare to set up, the software tries to be too clever and there is a frustrating delay in messaging to proceed to the next stage. Good when set up but getting there is unnecessarily frustrating...
Cannot paste in password. This is a major flaw. I have a 32 char password, auto-generated and trying to enter manually is near impossible. As a consequence I cannot even log in to the app. Such a pointless restriction on the UI.
Lebara is a very convenient sim to have especially if your are a world traveller. I have used the company for many years off and on. Getting in touch with customer service is not the easiest or maybe its the options given.
Guys please, i dont know what is actually happens to your network. Telling you frankly , there is no more range in some areas. Totally fed up with your networks. Please update your network based on Range. Poor range! Kind request. Because for the last 3 days i am facing bad range issues on my common area. But it was proper and clear before 3 days. I hope you guys will fix it. Many situations i faced bad about some banking transactions while am using your network. Please fix it.
only ever had one issue with a network fault and they resolved it and compensated me within 24 hours. internet speed always fine, mins n msg' s always fine and you can get some great deals I m only paying £1.85 a month at the moment you can't complain at that!! I would deffo recommend to anyone. thanks lab 👍🏻
Lebara offer superb customer service, both online and via the telephone. Their plans are incomparable and offer excellent value for money. I'm so impressed, I've just renewed a yearly contract with them.
Improved greatly as a service and so I have remained with Lebara as a customer. Add ons are much more reasonable and cover multiple countries avoiding the use of a local Sim. Very good.
lebara seemed great up to this month when all of a sudden and for no reason that I can find the warning came up that my normal plan was in data debt? I have used my android phone exactly as in previous months but my allotted data has been used with 2 weeks to go, why! I had to top up just to be able to use my phone. I can't see what has happened to eat up my data, I think I need to look elsewhere
