it's all fine until there's a problem missing items? no way to report it in app, you have to go all the way back to the store you got the food from, apparently I just want a refund on the missing items & the "contact us" form doesn't work it's all fun & games until there's an issue & then there's nothing but frustration. add an "there's a problem with my order" like every other company does

The last few times I've tried to use my points and add item to the code, it's a toss up as to whether the code will even load. The points are taken, but I am unable to do anything as the code refuses to load. I've gotten around it by having to make it a purchase on my card, but that simply complicates everything when the code should be loading. Not to mention the people having to wait for me to cancel the order and go through it the long way while in the drive through.

It's mostly cheaper than ubereats or other food delivery apps, but the deals are almost only ever for pickup orders, they increased the amount it costs to use your accumulated points to purchase something significantly, and you can now only use your points once per transaction. also, randomly the app wont accept payment and refuses to complete the order.

I genuinely have no idea how this app is rated above 1 star. This app has always been absolute trash. Today I opened the app, changed the order location, and added my order. In that time, the location had reverted back to the original location. No problem, I'll change it again. Made my order and started driving to the store. When I got there the app told me something in my order wasn't available (I ordered one thing). I ordered that exact thing at the speaker with no problem. Fix this POS app

Horribly bug riddled, super high latency. One of the worst app experiences out there. Two stars instead of one as it does allow you to order with persistence. Tested across multiple phones, unnecessarily slow. Screen transitions and nag promos that are frustrating. Edit: over a year on and nothing has changed. Currently can't proceed past selecting a drink in a meal. This app is criminally bad from such a large corporation.

Constantly glitchy. Every update introduces NEW GLITCHES :D Today it crashed like 5 times selecting a drink. And the map hasn't worked for weeks. ALSO I keep getting a window asking for app feedback while I am in the drive through trying to collect my order. It covers my order code! So I click the "not now" option and my screen is suddenly a whole survey? I SAID I DONT WANT TO GIVE FEEDBACK! WELL HERES YOUR FEEDBACK. It's terrible.

I am unable to complete orders if I pick a location but the app is unable to read my location data. Or if I make a purchase for my wife to pick up it won't complete. We waste time trying to use when it should be quick and easy. The app now forces us to open our mail app over inputting a password without giving a choice. Unnecessary cross app data exchange and privacy implications.

I don't like the point system. It's a subtle scam. It's not a reward, but rather a trap. Please don't make it seem like I'm being rewarded with a point system if you're going to limit the amount of points or be obsessively controlling of how I use these points. This app is not useful at all. In the store you have the touchscreen panels (same as phone) and through drive through, it's quicker to order through the intercom.

I'd rate this app NEGATIVE 5 if I could. The app is a good idea if it was actually user friendly. But it's not. You earn points that you're then meant to be able to use to purchase food. But you're only allowed to get one item and more often then not it then tells you we can't currently provide this item on points 😡 Every item should be allocated a point amount and you should be able to get as many items as you like within your amount of earned points. Absolutely terrible app to use!

The lastest version of this app is rubbish. They have added more steps. Previously the app used to smart enough to pick the closest restaurant on arrival. This new one basically locks in the restaurant your closest to at the time of arrival (provided your device location is correct). Its very easy to order to the wrong location. Talk about going backwards.

I recently reinstalled the app again after over 1yr, hoping that they'd fixed the issue I kept having in the past. Of course, the issue isn't fixed at all & am uninstalling again. As everytime I attempt to log in it, I never can. I get the email & go to the link. I click on "Activate" & then wait, & wait, & wait & get angry & close the app. Y it won't let me "Activate" & log into my account is beyond me but it's the 2nd time in 2 yrs I've uninstalled the app because of this. Won't b reinstallin!

Is it possible to be able to delete items that are still in the order section and change the location to after completing an order....makes it easier and doesn't mean going to the wrong restaurant! And can't adjust the location settings for the delivery drivers especially door dash who have the incorrect address details i refuse to use the delivery option for where I live it's ridiculous

I should just delete this app. It is nothing but a nuisance. I place an order through the app, get to the drive through, then it says items unavailable. When it's an item I know they have and even confirmed when I have to reorder everything again. Past couple of times I have ordered through the app, gone instore to collect, just to find my order has been cancelled! Then I have to go through the process to reorder all over again. This app is more trouble than its worth.

Good but could be better. The app always closes as soon as it opens, I'm then able to open it successfully. This has happened with the last 3 phones I've had. Not a big problem, but annoying. My biggest gripe is not being able to order more than one promotional/free item at a time. We get around this by placing an order with the first item, then go again, and again if needed. Such a time waster, for me and your staff.

Very buggy and slow. No change on that front. The app or the restaurant stuffed up my McDelivery as apparently the app didn't send the order correctly to the restaurant or the delivery driver. Or the restaurant stuffed up the order. I had to claim a partial refund for the missing items. Very poor form. The app and McDelivery service need massive improvement.

For such a large company it's kinda messed up how clunky and un-user friendly this app is. It's almost impossible to look to order unless I'm literally standing in the McDonald's I want to order in. If you need to go back or modify anything for any reason it's quicker to close the app and start again. You get interrupting ads on a maccas app when you've obviously opened it to order already and it is very pushy which makes it slow the whole process.It's worth it for the points but that's about it

Updates taking away features! Can no longer search for menu items (or they've hidden the option so well I can't see it 😂), have to browse through all the categories. It makes the process so much slower and cumbersome! Bring back the menu search box!

dont like the new update! confusing and no idea when to pick the option for pick up. I had to reverse out the drive thru and go in haha please put it back to the way it was please change app back. would like to choose the drive thru or pick up option when arriving, when it's busy i like yo go in instead of waiting in drive thru so long.

very frustrating to use. when trying to order quickly, pop-ups keep appearing for items I'm not looking to buy. I use the app when I'm ordering for drive thru to save any miscommunication at the speaker, which works well but takes twice as long to place the order as it should. Please keep in mind Maccas, that if we're driving through drive thru we shouldn't need to touch our phones to get the code up or clear a pop-up. it's illegal

I planned a trip to pick up my kids. Pre-made a big order to be picked up at a McDonald at my destination. Did everything short of paying. When I arrived, I clicked the pay option even thou I did not find any pickup information on that screen for a final check. After the order is done, it told me to go all the way to a McDonald near where the trip started. No cancellation or relocation button. Disappointing. Edit: On our way back 2 hrs later, it activated my order after I reached home. wth.
