When the app works it's fine, but it throws so many error messages, both on Android and PC version, it is often more trouble than it is worth. Today it is saying that I must update the app. But I have the latest version. The only option is to Install on My Other Devices. Now, I can't use the app without updating it, which I can't do because it is already updated... and on and on... PLEASE FIX!
The app is a bit buggy and it was strangr that it opens browser for login. An example of the bugs is showing that 7 messages were unread, which turned out to be messages that I sent up to 5 years earlier. When I open each message, they're removed from my unread display. But upon returning to the Home display, the messages are again stated as being unread and the message list shows the same previously read messages that I sent. This repeatedly happened when I tried again.
Signing in for the first 10 separate attempts and having to change my password each time was very annoying!!! I had to call in and get it fixed. ***Please make an option to view your password when signing in. Especially when it's an app that kicks you out so easily if the password is typed in wrong. These are medical records and trying to get help is not always an option when you really need to get in touch with your provider. Sometimes time is of the essence. ***
This used to be a really decent app until they merged it were bought by Athena Health. But their most recent change takes all the stars away. I used to be able to see the complete lab and test results for all tests done since I began seeing my doctor about 10-15 years ago. AND I could download PDFs of the entire report, not just a summary. NOW they only display summary reports for the last two sets of sets, maybe 3 months or so. AND THE WORST PART IS: They don't allow me to download ANY of them
Basically useless, as is the service itself. App doesn't save personal information or payment details. Disconnects from appointments if you let your phone's screen go dark. Also doesn't notify you when/if you get messages from your doctor. Service is also awful. 24/7 care has denied me care several times because of my "history"of a chronic illness telling me to go to the ER, even though I am homebound and my doctor is incredibly hard to get in touch with. I've even been hung up on by their docs.
To start off, I get logged out every time the app closes. Not only do I have to log in everything (the app is not accessible either, so it doesn't work with password manager), I don't get notifications for messages, etc. UI is not particularly easy to use it easy on eyes. Can't see it download lab results. Doesn't show the full list of messages, and redirects to website for trivial things. I don't understand what is the purpose this app is serving other than a check box that you have an app?
I can't view test results in the app. Also checking the 'remember me' box never works. Edit 06/11/21: The remember me still does not work, and I cannot make appointments with any of my providers through the app. This is something I was able to do before the last major update. There used to be a drop-down box of my providers, now there is a search that cannot find anyone from my doctor's clinic, or even in my state. I often wonder why I even still have this useless app on my phone at all.
when using an android, entering long text in free-hand note is hard. When touching an areato edit, when the finger touches the screen, the keyboard gets in the way. your app is the only one that i've seen it. I'm a senior tech). To be successful, i have to hit the back button and then touch the one place on the screen where I want to make my next edit.
The app. compared to other medical apps, needs better communication between patient & doctor. There's nowhere to get the care team's information (phone no./email/etc.) for personal service. If I schedule a virtual visit with a medical professional, I prefer to have someone familiar with my medical history - not just a random doctor or NP who happens to be on call. Okay for viewing bills & insurance information, and appointments, but still needs work.
While the app is great for viewing my appointments and past reports, it does not provide me my current oncologist and it also includes a doctor that I don't have nor have I ever had. I am unable to message my current oncologist or get anyone of my doctors to make the needed changes needed to the portal. The technology department does not change the data that appears in the app. They are only involved in the apps performance, and getting their number was near to impossible.
This "App" is basically just a browser directing you to the web interface, which itself is barely functional. Doesn't remember login info, constantly shows me I have "Unread Messages" but all show as read when I click the link. I've used the app to make appointments on two occasions, and received email confirmations, but the appointments never made it through to my provider. Utterly useless garbage.
Lots of bugs. For example, I've has the same notification that I have new messages for almost 2 yrs. Well I even filter by "unread " and check them over and over FROM 2022! NOTHING Is new. So I constantly have to check Just in case. Also shows no way to delete scheduled appointments made in the app. So you have to call a few times for it to show cancelled.
The desktop Web page is much easier to use than this app. The app also tells me I have 4 new messages every time I open it, however these are all glitched out messages from 2021-2022 that can't be marked as read.
many times my privilege has my log in through Athenahealth which tells me " records associated with different account." 4 of my doctors buse Athena which only works for 1 doctor.! reset password and still no access!
Terrible app. Provided listing if available appointment times. each time I selected one, I got a message stating that the selected appointment was not available and to select a new time. I tried no fewer than five times to be told that the time slot was no longer available and to select a new time. Had to make the appointment outside the app.
The web and mobile applications are currently displaying different information. For instance, correspondence from my medical team is fully accessible on the web platform, but not within the mobile application.
for 2 years is been telling me there's a new message and there's always issues with the appointments - today, is not showing one of my appointments. I'm wondering if it's in sync with my doctor's office
it is awkward to use. I am unable to verify if message was sent or if attachments went through. the app shuts off and I had to sign in multiple times, and because it lost all entered data, had to re-enter my message multiple times.
Terrible and overcomplicated. half its functions just redirect you through the mobile browser anyways. No benefit to the app over mobile browser since it also doesn't associate user information and you'll end up having to fill everything in manually. Not really sure at all why this application exists if there is a reason its not for the patient.
Very easy to use. I like that I can communicate with my Healthcare providers almost anytime.
