myStop® Mobile

very slow, you'll see a bus disappear for a few minutes then reappear. or a bus won't move at all, then 5 minutes later it's 8 miles from where it was stopped. it takes a minute to pick up your GPS. and route planning UI needs work. this feels like an app built by a first timer. I have a pixel phone with the newest updates always, there's no reason it could be my phone when I always have full service and 5g. I've missed the first bus when I first downloaded this app,

Frustrating to use.. when it works without fuss, it does juuust what you need it to do before it gets laggy and just doesn't function as much as you'd expect it to. Random zooms, in and out.. but tapping on an actual bus route icon is the worst. You tap the icon to see if it's on time or not, and 99.9% of the time, it'll act like you tapped a random stop! Over and over. Needs an overhaul.. as it is now, its functionality is subpar.

It's good when this app works. However, they've been having technical difficulties for the past three days. I tried clearing cache, clearing data, but the problem must be on their end. The fact that I can't see the map or routes at all makes it super hard to know whether I'll get to class on time or not, especially since I'm currently injured. I gave up hope that this app will work. I just use the CATAbus website instead. Works better than the app and doesn't take up any space on my phone.

I don't know what happened with recent updates, but the app is near unusable now. Sometimes, some screens/tabs can't scroll up, if you had pressed on a stop, then you can't press on other stops or check on busses unless you realize that there's a close button because it still assumes you are on the previous screen, running extremely slow when loading more than one bus, etc. It's just poorly maintained and becoming less optimized as time goes on for no reason.

I use this app daily... or I used to to get to work. It used to work well, but now no busses are showing up on my routes real-time. Some drivers get to my stop 10 minutes early or late and it is very frustrating if a driver is super early and I don't know about it, making me late to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled and even switched phones since this issue started and it still doesnt work. Very frustrating.

Unreliable. Have to stop and restart often. Data is often wrong. Don't know how many times I've missed a bus or how many times the bus never showed (the app's data was wrong). Very frustrating. Update: there are always issues with this app. Each time they fix something they break something else. Now, I have to deselect a route and then reselect it for it to update the bus icons. If this ever gets fixed, I wonder what they will break in the process.

It functions, but it could use some work. Some things I think could be improved: App will sometimes freeze, but not so much that it's unuseable; map lags if a lot of routes are highlighted; misspellings are in menus. Some things that I think are good as they are: Color coding routes; Marking favorite routes; accurate schedule; easy to use the UI, eg. selecting a bus stop, zooming, navigation, menu context, etc.

The app used to work well, but it started to close out unexpectedly and now the icons for the buses don't even show up, or disappear randomly. It's extremely ridiculous when you have to rely on this service but don't even know where the bus is at so you can get to your stop on time. You run the risk of constantly being late for work this way. Please fix this damn app!

With the new update, this went from an app I used several times per day to one I'll never use again. The nag screen for turning on location is the naggingest I've ever seen anywhere, can't be shut off, and is reason enough on its own to abandon it for basically any other app of its kind. And no more route shortcuts???

Just doesn't work. Ever since the most recent update, no busses show up at any stops despite them being visible moving on the map. Even before the update, you'd be better off only using Google maps-you need to know your route before getting on myStop since you're only able to navigate via the stops along the routes you have selected. Time estimates on this app are only slightly more accurate than Google. There's new quirks and bugs that pop up every update. Just not worth the headache.

I can't figure out a way to show transfers, or where the Trip Planner is. It works best if you already know the route your bus travels because you can't search by address - you have to use this app in conjunction with Google Maps. There's a definite learning curve to this app, but it's useful for seeing where your bus is while you wait for it.

You'd be better off using the stars to find out where your bus is. I've been using this app for more then 2 years and when it works it's nice but that doesn't matter because the drivers don't turn on their tracker! Those important warnings about rerouted buses show up but are BLANK and doesn't tell you anything.

[2023-05 - Using for Birmingham/Jefferson Cnty AL Max Transit] It was freezing & not even presenting a map... apparently cuz I selected too many bus routes simultaneously. When only displaying 2 or 3 routes, it worked better. When selecting a bus stop to see upcoming arrivals, the scrollable list in the pop-up is too small to see a full line of the result set. Sometimes late in day it shows no upcoming arrivals, leaving me walking only to see a bus later pass me by (bad data/not app fault).

I rely on this app daily to get to where I need to go every morning, and it used to be accurate, however now it's hardly real time and the buses always arrive either 10 minutes early or 10 minutes late despite the app and bus icon showing/saying a time and so I end up being late from it. It's really frustrating to have to have to play guessing games on when the buses will actually arrive.

Usually works, but this app is very annoying when it is off 2-7 minutes and I miss the bus because the app told me I had way more time than I actually did. Edit: I don't what they did but now for some reason the app does not store the routes that you had saved anymore and it takes 20 extra seconds to load up every time you going to the app which is very annoying

The app is very slow to load. You can set a notification to be sent to you via email or text a few minutes before the bus is supposed to be at the stop. shoes where the bus is on a nap.

Need to be more simplified for bus route times and scheduling

Stopped showing the busses. so I uninstall and reinstall and now after choosing my bus system it says I'm good to go and doesnt load further. Closing and reopening the app makes me choose again, and it still doesn't load the busses or map. May just be my transit authority, another one actually works. edit: the other one also isn't loading

this app sucks to use. slow, clanky and the back button always asks you if you want to close the app instead of taking you to the previous page. it has all the speed and grace of train wreck. give up on this waste of digital real estate, just update your times on Google and force your drivers to adhere to the schedule instead of being cool with them being way too early or late, if they even show up at all. the 26 regularly goes MIA for seemingly no reason.
