Overall, it's mid to the best. Yes, the UI is slightly good to the eye, and some international tv channels are also offered, but if the GUI itself is hard to control, then all those features are harder to be used, making it feel.. mid. And also, not all local tv stations are provided. As example, all of the Media Prima tv stations aren't here, but their radio stations is. So to me, by improving overall Gui usability as well as increasing tv stations provided will make this better.

Fantastic app: great User Interface (fluid), wonderful selection of channels (including selected classic Malay films from SIAR which normally has a subscriction fee), and an extensive variety of entertaining shows. I would give it full star if MYTV is also made to download on Android TV. It has cast option to screen from the phone, but it mostly fails to open. Overall, a great app to add to your phone when you are trying to catch a show while on the move! 👍

Already subscribe to premium but in the end the app is not functioning on my android tv,just black screen with no response what so ever,really waste my Rm9.90,if only i can get my money back (I hope my review can help prevent anyone else from becoming a victim,its a waste of your money)

installed in android tv.. before and after the update still has the same error.. in the middle of watching suddenly shows "unknow error".. need to exit and re-enter.. subscribed for nothing..

Since 3rd January 2026 at 1226 AM, all Premium channel video quality have been downgraded from real 1080p to upscaled 1080p. While the bitrate looks similar, visually you can see compression artifacts (blocky artifacts, washed out colors) and upscaling artifacts (jitter, ghosting). Even SPOTV NOW live matches are not excluded. What's infuriating is TVS got a very high bitrate of 5Mbps recently. We pay for premium channels, not TVS that can be watched FOTA on numerous platform

Dah support android tv tapi tak boleh tengok jugak. Tak boleh sign in sebab tak subscribe. Dekat phone dan laptop je boleh tengok. Rugi, limiting your audience. Patutnya open for all device (phone, tablet, android/goolge tv, android box etc) to watch free channel so that you could gain more audience and potential customer if they would like to watch premium content.

stupid app keep crashing, I can't sign up due to otp not sending to my emails, can't watch it on phone nor on my TV, waste of my time

Nice to have free channel to watch while traveling. Unfortunately, the app doesn't set streaming quality to lowest by default and I had to set it every time I switch channels. I wouldn't care to leave it on auto quality if I'm on free WiFi, but I'm on limited internet data plan and the app wasted lots of my quotas.

It functions really good on phone. I hope it will available on smart tv soon

U.I is pretty impressive with slide/swap kind of like YouTube style, picture quality nah😪1080 only and 30fps. For a phone that doesn't support MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) it's looking terrible😮‍💨. Media Prima things? I understood that they also have other platforms streaming apps like Tonton, it's copyright situation. I only hope I can change the view of the video (wide/large size). *All disadvantages still 0% progress, MEMC give u 60fps on 30fps video without 3rd party app.

So far the application is good enough. The only issue I want to clarify here is for tablet use. The fact that the app is not tailored for landscape view and only viewable in landscape mode when you are in fullscreen or picture-in-picture mode outside MYTV app itself is annoying. Hope this will be addressed for the next update. My other feedback is you might consider to integrate or collaborate with Google TV so that we don't need so many apps installed in our device.

Good to have an option to watch TV whenever wherever. To add more category like cooking of Malaysian Traditional Food, Tourist place of interest & attractions, Traditional games etc. For Malay film to add P.Ramlee film and also children movie like Tom Tom Bak, Upin Ipin etc. Contents must be updated regularly as and when needed. Thanks.

Stupid app. When I want to reset password check for OTP, this app not running background thus I have to start all over again.

Good apps broadcast in 4k resolution..but unfortunately there are too few channels And there are no favorite channels..

Early experience : very nice to watch those channel live. I can suggest to my mother in law to download it also because it has Alhijrah channel also. So far i used my wifi at home, no lagging or buffering. Lets see whrn i am outside. Can it cope and still give the best quality experience for me or not.

It's say have catch up feature, but when I opened the miss episode my favorite show, it's say "catch up not available, please try after some times". Please fix it!!!!

Smooth streaming. Clear video (not sure HD). No buffering. Can be use as main app for television. Easy to use and navigate UI.

Why after installing the app there is no app shortcut? The app is invisible after installing it. Try to reinstall but I still can't find the app on my phone. Please fix this problem.

Update 1.8 (06/04/2023) seems to fix the reported error before.. And I hope the rest of the channels (AwesomeTV & TVS along with MPB channels) will be available as well

This app is convenient for watching Malaysia's tv channels on the go. I would rate it 5 stars if the developer could provide a chromecast button for it.
