Unifi's recent update is very problematic, breaking what was previously working well. After the update, when trying to log in, it takes you to a register new account page. When requesting for OTP, it was not sent to my mobile; upon re-requesting, it was sent to my email, but was deemed invalid when keyed in. Same prob persisted after reinstalling the app. Words can't begin to describe my frustration.
The app keeps logging me out. I can't log in through email. Whenever I tried to log in using my email, it went to new account registration despite using the email for years now. I had to use log in through my phone number. Please remove the email login option since it's can't be used. MAYA the chatbot is useless, I can't even type in the chat when the preselected options doesn't even cover my issues. Do I need to email support contact? What's the point of MAYA?
After the recent update, the Unifi app logged me out for security reasons, which is understandable. However, when attempting to log back in, the app automatically registered a new account instead of allowing me to log in with my existing account details 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 It should have prompted me to enter my registered email or account number. Now I’m left with a new, empty account that has no record of my previous payments or history. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.
I have been using this app for years without issue. Recently, it required me to sign up again. After re-registering, my broadband account is no longer linked, and the app shows that I have no subscribed services. This is very inconvenient and concerning. Please fix the account linking issue for existing users.
Very hard to navigate.. After update my account number is loss.. Tried getting support from app pointless.. Too much BS for just one account number.. Show all those unwanted answers... Just make a simple way to get my account number.. If update app.. Please make sure it doesnt log me out and forget my account number.
This app has been updated to latest version. But then all my account details has gone, especially my unifi account no. Users had to link the account (using account no) to enable us to use this latest app & get billing updates etc.Luckily i keep my unifi account no in my record elsewhere, otherwise it would be troublesome to find it. Why dont you integrate the clients data from the previous version to the latest version? Because i had encounter this same issue previously and find it a bit annoyed
The app logged me out, and for the past month plus, every time I login, I can't find my account. If I manually try to add my account, it says the account doesn't exist. But when I add it via "manage other accounts", suddenly it works. What kind of bug is this? And the customer service is abysmal. There's almost no way to reach a human CS rep now to talk about troubleshooting. Please either update Maya, or allow human interaction again. What exists now is impossible to use. Since the recent update, I have been logged out from my account, and I had to log in again. My account after the recent update of the app is not linked to my WiFi bill, and I tried to link it with my account. For the first attempt, it works, but on the next day, my WiFi bill is not linked again, and when I try to link again, the app told that my account number is not exist. I tried multiple times and it is still same. The previous app is better than this one.
First of all this app just gets more buggy, more nonsense and more difficult to use after every update. And now my outstanding bill doesn't even update after payment have been made. It's full of bugs and issues like difficulty linking accounts etc. The previous version is fine. No need to keep overhauling the app every 4 months or so.
Edit: dev did actually read review, so here's a proper one: -the app is laggy to use, it's like running at 10fps. Previous version run fine. -the app beg for location data every time i start up. I only want to login to pay, not let you spy on my location. -i have to re-register again. This is the third time i register an account on TM. Horrible. -registering require more personal question that is unskipable, again i want to pay bill not swipping date. Have more to say but word is limited.
edit: after the latest update, it logged me out from the app. when i try to login, instead of login, it try to register a new account. when i try to link my account, that ive been using for years, it says it DOESN'T EXIST?? I'm trying to pay my bills here, but your app literally kicking everyone away. Terrible experience, whoever design this app should stop whatever they are doing. Other companies can do a lot more better.
I have linked my account and my family account on the old app over digital ID. And now with new app, I need to set up again everything. The system does not even detect my own account automatically. Worst part, I added my family account, it said added, but nothing shown. Even tried re-sign in out too. Update: family account shown now after few hours, should at least inform us if it will take some time to reflect
New update is cool and all, but PLEASE bring back the ability to 'view details' about the bill I'm going to be paying! Even if its going to be a choppy link to the PDF of the bill summary, i want to know every little detail of what my package is charging me, even if i saw it a hundred times. i repeat, bring back the 'view details' option. please and thank you.
The new app update is quite frustrating. After every update, users are required to reset or update their details again, which is very time-consuming. Currently, I’m unable to make a payment because it says there is no account number, even though everything worked fine before the update. Kindly look into this matter and improve the app’s stability and user experience.
terrible experience... in older version i can link both my home and business account. but now it doesn't. i need to login every time ..also it can not find my account when everything is correctly provided.... i paid the bills but it shows i did not even after hours of restarting and refreshing ...bring back the previous version 😡😡
This app unlinked my mum's account from my account since 6 months ago and did not tell me. Then when I tried to link it back again, it keeps saying it is already linked but it does not appear in my account. Your software developers are all interns? I alone can make a better app than this, scaled up and all, in under a week. Software graduates these days have no skills. Spent too much time vibe coding??? Apparently this occurs exactly the same way on the website.
Why does Unifi need to change their app every 2 years? And each time, it doesn't automatically detect my account somehow. Or has issues when I'm trying to pay the bill. Why do I need to look for old payment receipts to find my account number in order to link my Unifi account in my Unifi app??? The most inconsistent, not user centric app by a service provider ever!
i previously registered and was able to use the Unifi app without any issues. However, after the recent update, I was automatically logged out. When I attempted to register again, the system indicated that my account does not exist.
every updates logs you off but this recent update can't even let me login. page sent me to registrstion page when i already have and account. then when proceeding to OTP to phone number it never went in. resend OTP to email got the OTP number but app keep telling OTP is not correct until i'm unable to attempt to login for 2 hoursss !! waited 2 hours and the cycle continues, cant even login in app and web app ! these developers really need to do a thorough quality check when doing app updates
I just want to check internet status, and was asked to log in the app. Then click check status, asked to log in again! Then when I press check technical issue, bot reply ask me to log in again???? Then finally logged in already and check status. App says unknown error, please log in again. What's going on? 2026 still need to go look for internet like hunting chicken.. Adui...
