NBC10 Philadelphia Local News

I am a loyal fan of NBC everything and this is the only app I use for weather, not really the news, weather. After updating my phone to its latest software (Android Version 16 - One UI Version 8) the weather section of the app has been buggy. The news in the app works fine, but everytime I click into a day in the weather the app crashes. Anything I click one in the weather tab, the app crashes. The app is not useful for me at the moment until an update is done to fix the bug.

why can't I click on the "x" on alerts to delete. it makes me read the alert 3 or more times before it comes off

I am very upset that with the newest update I am not able to have the temperature in my notifications bar. That is the main reason I continue to have this app (besides I find NBC forecasting more accurate than others). I will consider revising my review if this issue gets fixed, but it is not worth it for me to have to open the app to check the current temperature, I prefer to see it without having to even unlock my phone

I downloaded it for weather & that was fine. The traffic alerts seem to work. BUT The "news" videos further down the page were undated & sometimes 7+ days old, leading to confusion. Plus I'd be trying to read an article further down the page & audio from a sports segment would start w/out request.

NBC10 weather forecasts (also for 10 days ahead forecasts!)& Includes hour to hour daily forecasts, are the most accurate and filled with information about the days weather, it always includes % of humidity and the Dew Point index... very important and helpful. BUT... after the latest update I can no longer see the temperature displayed in my discover bar! I now have to open the app itself just to get the basic temperature reading... very very inconvenient and annoying.

Uninstalling, for style and substance. Style: notifications are ALWAYS IN ALL CAPS. Please don't yell. Substance: I just opened a news story and got an invisible video (or just an audio) ad that I could not stop, mute, or otherwise control. An auto-play voice, loud, when I neither wanted nor expected it.

Runs too many stories as videos, rehashed from that day's news broadcast, rather than an article you can read. Also, they apparently have comment sections for each article but since changing formats, don't permit comments to be posted. Check it out for yourself on the most controversial or viral stories.. very strange that there are NEVER comments any more. Mostimportantly, this app. constantly has issues with loading or staying loaded. multiple times a week, I get the app not responding message.

Update 7/30/21. Went back to us using this app for philly news and weather Latest update is terrible The best feature was the weather and they broke it. The graphics for the news is cluttered and unusable Uninstalling now Old review. Will not work. Keeps saying to connect to Wi-Fi when the phone is connected to Wi-Fi

App will not remove previously used weather zip-codes even after deleting them manually. Weather Auto-location setting seems useless as well as the app defaults to old location no longer in use and far away from current home location. I use this mostly for weather but it never shows my actual location. #frustrating #bug

This used to be the best local weather app for people who do not live directly in the city of Philadelphia. It was very nice to be able to watch your your local forecast through the weather ticker that appeared on the bottom of the screen while the meteorologist went over the forecast.. Now they decided to take that future away from forecast radio with the meteorologist.. This app is no longer as useful so now I'll use Yahoo weather.

I like getting news and weather information but when I click on a notification the app opens on full brightness on my Galaxy S9 even though I have my phones brightness set to under 50%. The app also drains the phones battery while running in the background.

Since the update in October 2022 the news & breaking news alerts are not working at all + the doppler radar feature is "not" showing the live radar anymore & that was one big reason why I had this app for several years. I've recently unsubscribed & gone to another source where the news alerts work fine + a reliable radar.

Have used the original version for years. Downloaded the new version to get new features touted by Steve Sosna. But there is no Help button to tell about using the features. The old app new where in Philly I live, but this one doesn't and there is no way to input a Zip Code. Also, WHAT IS THE RED DOT? I always wanted to know that. I can't find any Help page online either. The app has been foisted on us before it's ready. So disappointed!!

NOW,if you want the transhumanist(DARK,DARKER,DARKEST) propaganda angle$suprastate perspective for local,state,national level(greater degree as you go to national),then this is the app for you!!,!THE sports coverage is fairly reported,even productive;however even weather coverage is fallow,grossly underreported,AND naturally,OF COURSE does NOT cover geoengineering,climatic warfare!!!IT is overall fallow,EVEN short on depth in the weather reporting!!!WELL,light-hearted stories covered without

Love this app!!! Especially reports from Hurricane Schwartz! It's really disappointing the current temperature and weather conditions are not posted on my icon bar anymore. It was something I used on a daily basis!

I love that the news are right on point and that I get the weather alerts consistently,helps me get dressed and ready accordingly and helps me makes the necessary preparations when the notifications comes saying that the schools are going to be close.

This app is only good if you live in phily. I thought it suppose to cover the tri state. Besides always freezing up and vidios dont work most of the time. Fix your bugs out!. Apperently they updated this app again. Whoever had done this shouldent even have a job. I am getting rid of this app and dont recommend anyone use it

I'd give this app 6 stars. NBC10 Philadelphia is the one and only accurate app when it comes to weather in Philadelphia. There's nothing worse then getting caught in the middle of a surprise storm, with this app you will see it coming. With the weather as unpredictable as it is in Philadelphia, you need an app that you can rely on. You could trust this app.

I personally love this app but it could actually use an update. The interface of the app can be improved but NBC 10 should keep on with the great reliable news and alerts. I expected it to be a little bit up to date with the new phones.

Weather radar does not work. It used to but has not been working for the past few weeks. Reduced from 3 stars because of this. Reinstalled today 11/11/19. Still not working on Android. Opens and then fails to launch.
