NewProfilePic: Profile Picture

This was a great app for turning photos into artistic profile pics, using unique filter-like effects. If I used a portrait picture, I got the same picture back, but it would look like an oil painting or line drawing with the background removed or replaced. Now, this app is 99% AI photo generation. Your face is put on some model's body, standing in a strange location, wearing some silly outfit. These apps are a dime a dozen these days. I wish this one would go back to how it was 1-2 years ago.

I don't know where this app came from, I only heard it in passing a couple times before I actually checked it out. This is actually REALLY cool. Although I admit that I prefer the first selection of editing. Don't know if it's the same one as everyone else, but it's a realistic art rendering of the photo of your choice. It's friggin remarkable, man.. surprised that they're not charging anything for using the service.. I think it's deserving of charging a small price to use, like 1-2 bucks tops.

I love the look you can create with the app but they need to add editing options. You should be able to recenter and resize the photo to fit the portion that you want into the design. I also wish you could use photos where a face is not detected. I have an adorable pic of my daughter and our pup with their faces together. Since it is a side profile the app says "no face detected" and won't let me use it.

Love the images when the app actually works. 1 star for the fact that you cam not zoom in or out of photos, adjust placement or any other editing. I have tried the only tool available to shade the image but it doesn't seem to make a difference and still omly focuses on one face in every picture I try to use of me and my kids, zooming in on one person by itself.

I downloaded 5/14 and I used set up the 3 day trial which ends tomorrow. I'm trying to find where I can actually cancel my sunscreen. It's not in the app that I can see. The app was fun but it's not worth the $30 a year. I won't use it that much. Anyone have an idea on how to cancel a subscription with this company? UPDATE: I would be remiss if I did not say how quickly this company responded to my email about canceling my subscription. They explained how to cancel, step by step, via playstore.

Liars. The app has requested subscription this whole time, not just yesterday. The subscription doesn't "just appear out of thin air." Your company has to add it. Why don't you provide an email for the customers to send you the charges on their account. I have a screenshot of the subscription that says it will automatically charge after 3 days, what email can I send it to??

Tricked * Update 2, it just gets worse and worse... the options they had 6 months ago were amazing ( free version) paid version should be better ? WRONG!!! It seems there are fewer options now and none of the amazing choices for hair and clothes as was with the free version. not cool, not cool at all and not worth 40.00 ... not sure whos idea these new options were but they are AWFUL! I'm so disappointed! and the creators haven't even acknowledged my comments to them at all . Just a money grab!

I had previously subscribed to this app and it was great, when I subscribed this time 1. I didn't realize it was going to cost me practically 9.00 every week, and the pictures were not the same quality. I canceled it immediately who in their right mind would may close to 40.00 a mouth for an app? They got me for half of that, but it is what it is.

Make sure you disable notifications or it will send random ones a lot. This app makes some cool pictures. It has a feature to select the target you want, but it doesn't work. It basically just ignores it and you must pay annually to use most of the features. Doesn't work with group photos either. I sort of got it to work with my dog but without the selection feature working, it was impossible to set it as the focus.

Am I missing something, because my free trial just ended and the only differences in FREE AND PAID are: (1) A 2 to 10 sec. ad plays when a filter is clicked (2) Filters are still free except one group of 2 filters. This filter requires purchase of app to use/view. You're paying $32 a year for 2 filters & ads that pop-up every other time instead of every time you change filters. This apps filters make your photos look stunning, but it's not worth paying money, especially this amount of money!

This was a great app...but, you still have the same scenes...my favorite one is the one that gives me either 3 arms or hands when my hands are not even in the photo. You need to work on the AI....I prefer the way you had it in the beginning...and my other favorite is face not found..when there is clearly a face there. Removing it once again. This should be a clue...no one is happy with the app the way it is now.

Stupid. Use to have the app. Like 3 weeks ago. Phone was hacked so I had to reset it lost every. Now I can't use the app unless I pay for it. Fu&$ that. I'm not paying anything for an app that was once free. You all are crazy to think I can't find an app that does the same thing as yours for free. The app was great but not worth paying for great. Lol

Sadly I rarely use this app anymore...dislike it a lot! Wish you'd bring back your earlier version, I will be discontuing the paid version when yr is up. Loved this app a lot more before they changed it..was hoping once I paid for the premium version I'd see more of the former options...I still like it, but I do not care for some of the ridiculous stuff..please bring back the prior version. Totally disappointed with paid app..free version was terrific until they changed it.

This was brilliant at first. Perfectly understandable to have premium paid features, but now it is just full of splas screens asking for payment. This wouldn't be an issue, but ypu can't use pictures with more than one face anymore, when this used to be free. At £7.99 a week, its just far too expensive. I'll look for a different freer app or pay for one that is more reasonably priced. Disappointed at the changes.

this used to be one of the greatest apps, where all the pictures were very cool, however, now it is one of the worst as the pictures look nothing like the subject and they rarely ever change things.

Once you open the app, it tells you that you have a 3 days free-trial, before they charge you, but "you can cancel the subscription before the end of the 3 days". I agreed since I wanted to see what it was like, but there is no option to cancel. I looked everywhere and found that they ask you to contact them by email to cancel... hopefully they cancel it before they charge my credit card, because I finally won't be using this app at all. I downloaded it about 3-4h ago. We'll see...

Like others I took advantage of the trial because I wanted to see what it was like before buying. When I realized it was not what I needed I tried to find out how to cancel my subscription but they make it difficult to find. Finally found it. Open your app and click on the 3 bars top left. When that opens click on 'About' then click on 'Manage Subscriptions'. This will give you the opportunity to cancel your subscription.

When I first started using this, it wasn't limited to a one-person image, & I was able to have group photos (up to 5 people, for free) which had fantastic responses from those I forwarded the images to, all wanting to know about this app🤗. I wouldn't now recommend it to anyone! £7.99/wk after 'trial'? Really?🤨 I'd rather delete this app than 'play' with the pied piper.😒

Disappointing. I subscribed to their free trial. As I do with all free trials, I cancelled the subscription so I could try it, see if I liked it, without it charging me ($7 a week!!!) right away. Immediately my pro features were revoked so I can't give any feedback on those. My playstore says I still have access to the pro features for another 2 days though... When I contacted customer support they said that was by design. There is no way to truly have a free trial period - seems like a scam.

I have been waiting patiently for months for things to go back to the way they were before. None of the new photos look anything like me so I don't see any point in wasting time picking a hair colour and style. Given that the app is NewProfilePic it would be great if the pictures looked like me at least. If things don't change back soon I'll be deleting this app.
