This used to be a really useful app, especially for weather alerts. But for a while now (since about the beginning of this month, maybe longer), it's been crashing every time I even try to open it. And if I do manage to get it to load, it'll crash as soon as I click on anything. Please fix the app. It was very reliable for weather alerts in my area. :/

The ads! The way they're presented is terrible. You can't even read a story without the entire text popping up and down as random ads are inserted, go away, and then another, differently sized one is inserted. Do what I did, save a link on your device's home page and just read the news in your browser. Keep the app for notifications if you like.

I like this app mostly to keep up with the weather. But every time I try to click on weather alerts it crashes, I've uninstalled it thinking it was my phone, but its not. Considering switching to a different new station. Please fix it

It could very well be my phone, but the app crashes as soon as I touch an article. I'll just get you guys on Facebook!

Why did they remove the radar from the app!!!!?? That was what I used the most for all the weather information. Bring back the Interactive Radar for the Android App!!!!

Any current information is hard to find. I want to see a summary of current news and weather, like the last report from TV. Basically impossible. Nothing but ads. Really want to like it more but it is of very little value the way it is. Uninstalled it after trying it for over a year. Weatherbug or noaa are much easier.

Terrible app. The commercials play perfectly, but when it switches to live broadcasting (the actual news programming), it either kicks you out of the app or goes into buffering mode. Here in southern Maine, none of the TV stations' signals are powerful enough to reach this part of the state.

The app itself is alright. But the amount of data it uses is double the amount any other app is my phone uses. I shut off background data usage. I have used it less than 6 times for an average of 45 minutes each time. I can use FB for 6 hours straight just streaming reels and it doesn't use a quarter of this news app. Even when I watch on my Roku, the internet bill breakdown has shown 6× more data has been used since downloading the app on that! That's insane!

The app design is confusing — for instance, multiple forms of weather reports in many, many places. It tells me to "tap the star" to bookmark topics I'm interested in but there's no star to tap. Clicking on "discover topics" does nothing. I am using this app for emergency weather alerts but will avoid using it otherwise.

Good weather team. The rest of the organization is rotten. Super far left bias for years, and yet, somehow they manage to become more extreme year by year. Don't look here for anything resembling honest news coverage. . . . Had to update my review . . . Lately the weather team doesn't even bother to upload the video forecast. All you get is a picture of a cloud. App is totally rubbish. No reason to download this.

2024- the only "local" station available. Problem is all the repeating ads. Just watch an entire broadcast, you'll see the problem. Otherwise, live is good and app does the job if you don't start reciting the DBL etc ads. 2014- Uses more battery than my screen in eight hours. I haven't started the app in over a week & every day highest battery user.

App needs to be updated to be user friendly. The videos always stop playing just 30 seconds into it, I can't even watch the weather updates. I would also like to watch it live on weekday mornings but unfortunately that also isnt working and video will stop on the have errors. The flow of the website needs improvement. I do love the near me section. I hope your app will get the love it needs to be a great resource for all of us. Ive been a viewer for over 30 years. Please fix your app soon!

The news staff and program are fine, but the app does not work well on a Roku TV. With each commercial, the app freezes. Exiting the app and restarting the app does not help. In fact, the glitch somehow removes the sound on all channels of the TV, requiring unplugging the TV and restarting. It is the only app that does this, so it is clear the app is the problem.

Last couple weeks the app has been stopping and restarting while in the middle of reading have to start over. And the last couple of days some articles won't come up and says cache and a bunch of numbers and letters. Please fix this. I really like the app.

this app is horrible. backs up every few minutes and if you try to reboot you have to go through same commercial over and over, then it just backs up again. there's also a constant tagged ad stream across the bottom you cant remove which is probably part of the problem.

It's just an ok application. It would be great if when you put your city name in as your weather location that the current temperature is shown on your home screen at the top. Wont let me access the daily poll site. I uninstalled the app redid it nothing. Piss poor app. Don't waste your time.

I'm up to date on local issues and I like that. But often when I click a link for a headline in a notification, it takes me to the wrong story or no story. I'm not crazy about the length of ads before video stories, but it's tolerable.

I've been watching WCSH News for the last 40 years so I'd really like to see an app that lives up to their broadcast standards. Unfortunately, this app is far from it! It has a confusing layout and WAY too many ads. Most importantly it lacks any support for streaming services. More often than not, I close it out before finding anything I'm looking for...

I thought I would try it again on an updated new phone...it's worse than before. I can't rotate so I can view the videos, it cuts out after half a story and sound is intermittent. Can't get to anything without problems. Seriously sucks. I will Uninstall after I post this. Disappointed.
