Great app. It has the music on your Nintendo Switch for a bonus of the Online subscription on the Nintendo Switch. The only downside is that they don't have all soundtracks, just the more recent and popular games of the series. There are only Pikmin 4 soundtracks excluding the previous games. The soundtracks are still great though. Surely they'll add the previous next. No ads. If your have the Online subscription on you Nintendo Switch I recommend getting this app.

Great collection of tracks, the curated playlists are neat (notably the different paths in Star Fox 64), extended play is a fun feature, never had any issues. However, the it's missing Android Auto support, which makes it annoying to try and listen in my car, and is an immediate two-star deduction for a music app in current year.

EDIT: Forgot to mention it's ad-free, a 5☆ trait in itself. For years, I've enjoyed listening to music in Nintendo's games independant of the games themselves, and now Nintendo have finally provided a legal method of doing so! The menus are clear and consise, and the sound quality is good. One caveat though, it requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, but if you already own a Switch like I do, that's not a problem. Also, the selection is pretty meager now, but I'm sure it'll grow in time.

I understand that not everything can/will make the cut. Even so: been out for several months and the selection is odd and patchy. Like, we have modern games, but are missing the Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC. Meanwhile, entire franchises are missing altogether; searching for "Wario," the app thinks I'm misspelling "Mario." It's sad and a little pathetic. If you're gonna provide this service you have to go ALL OUT on it, or else we're all just gonna go back to YouTube and/or pirating. Sorry guys.

Really good so far. It's got a lot of great Nintendo songs already, and it's continually being updated. Lots of unique and fun playlists focusing on different genres, vibes, and even specific characters. The song extension feature is really cool, too, and is available on most songs (essentially the ones that would be able to be looped during gameplay). I do wish it wouldn't restart the song if you switched to an extended version in the middle of playback, but that's ultimately a minor nitpick.

nintendo has *decades* of music under its belt. I know they want to start slow, but this game barely even has any Switch music on it, let alone retro music. And I would expect a little more customization available for a Nintendo app. For songs with multiple versions, like Mario Wonder's themes, I'd expect to be able to listen to any version of them rather than just looping through each version once. Speaking of which, not all songs can be put on loop, even if they could in the original.

It definitely creates a lot. I have to open the app twice to get it to work. Pokémon tracks that seem like they should be able to be extended aren't able to. And the updates to more music are a little slow. Maybe an old game and newer game each week? But the slow updates are tolerable, because the current selection is fair. And the fact you can extend tracks to 15/30/60 minutes smoothly is AMAZING. Just needs more music. But mostly? Stop. Crashing. Oh, no credit to the composers is very gross.

I find this app really good for listening to some Nintendo music. The problems of composers not being credited and low selection for certain games are definitely there, but it works well for the songs that it does have. I'm not going to put it lower than a four-star. I also appreciate the amount of ACNH songs as it's hard to find those anywhere else, but they need to add more splatoon 3 songs. They have Octo Expansion and not Side Order. I hope that they add Side Order and Splatoon 1 music.

This app is a great music app for Nintendo OST! It's not a single ad that is super awesome, and it's owned and operated by Nintendo! I feel like it's great that this is exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online because it adds more value to what you're getting. Also, I hope they add more OST in the future! This music app operates just like Spotify, so I was able to get the hang of it easily! Thanks, Nintendo!

Love the app, mostly. A great app if you love video game music. I appreciate Nintendo taking the opportunity to give this to their subscribers. My main issues are twofold: 1) I'm confused to how certain games are released: The entire MP4 soundtrack isn't out yet, despite them putting some of it out (missing other important games as well) 2) I'd love an option for this to be supported on Android Auto. I can't even change songs when I'm listening to music in my car because it's not supported.

I've been a Nintendo fan since the eighties and own thousands of games and soundtracks. This app is a great start, but it has a surprising number of shortcomings for a company as deep-pocketed as Nintendo. The selection is fairly paltry, with plenty of songs missing while Nintendo strings us along with occasional new releases. There's no option for lossless audio. There's no cast option. You can't integrate it with other artists like you can on Spotify. There are no joint playlists or DJ.

Great app (no ads, free with switch online for $25/yr)! I have a few soundtrack requests, although I'm sure Nintendo already has plans for what they are going to release for quite a while. Requests (in no particular order): Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart World. I really enjoy the app though, especially the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom soundtracks, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, and Super Mario Bros. U, just to name a few. Keep it up!

it keeps crashing for absolutely no reason. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I've tried restarting my phone, I've tried force stopping the app. All it does is show the music note like it's about to load, and then it crashes. Please fix it soon!! I used to use this app a while back when I had my nintendo online and it's difficult to find actually good quality posts of nintendo songs online, so the fact that it won't load is a major issue

I WANT THIS TO BE SEEN BY THE PERSON RUNNING THIS APP. overall a decent app, one issue though. there is a small library and some OSTs are missing huge chunks (*cough*cough*splatoon three*cough*cough*) also, about the people who seem to have a crashing issue, I seem to be immune to it, although the music glitching and stopping when offline is a problem for me too. the one OST a week thing is absurd. at LEAST two a week bro. I get that it is a lot of work already, but please add more stuff faster.

It's good; too good... Some games (Splatoon 3) don't have all of the songs in-game present. For example: the songs that play when you enter the multi-player lobby AREN'T PRESENT (except for one), and they added the lobby terminal as a song instead; the thing most players dismissed as an ambient track got added over the ACTUAL songs.

EDIT: so I've had this app for while now and I have to uninstall it and reinstall it with each update because the tracks skip with each second it plays. It's usually working just fine UNTIL I get the update. It's annoying and all I want to know is there a way to fix it? Is there a fix to it? So far I'm loving it. Glad that I can enjoy in game music! Hopefully they'll add more game titles to their list of music at some point. As a Zelda fan, I'm loving the BOTW music. 😊

User-friendly interface that is typical for a music app; features tailored to video-game music, such as extended playback and spoiler prevention; downloads and no ads; Nintendo music, true to its name. Somewhat thin lineup of games so far; usually only 1 game's soundtrack added per week; noticeable load times compared to other apps, such as Pandora or Spotify. Also, it requires a subscription, but the subscription is cheap, and the average Nintendo consumer is likely to already have it, anyway.

I love Nintendo's library of music, but the trickle of it instead of releasing loads at once is something that consistently turns me away from the app. I never want to go on it because I know my favourites aren't gonna be there. So back to YouTube it is. I just would like more for what's being paid. Because if I'm still going back to another app to listen to their songs, then there's a problem...

Good quality sound, simple interface, game selection is (slowly) expanding. Nintendo seems to be adding one new soundtrack every Monday (at least in North America). Overall this is a very nice perk for Switch Online subscribers, although I wish there was a standalone subscription for people who don't have a Switch. That being said, this app will only get better as time goes on.

The app is not a bad idea but there is not nearly enough music considering the extensive library they have. I'm not sure why they are drip feeding it to us. It's also lacking Android Auto support and Casting which I feel are very standard in music apps today.
