Got this system with Hippo insurance. It's a cool idea as other have mentioned but the sensors don't work at all. Mine are just for water and temperature and frankly you can dunk the sensor in water and nothing happens. Similarly it has been a constant 76 degrees for about 2 weeks (which is 100% wrong). I called customer support and they were really nice and helpful. The sent me a replacement sensor but it doesn't work either. Also i have check the batteries and reset the sensors. Oh well...

Setup is really buggy, instructions don't really make sense. Temperature seems accurate, I haven't test the other detections like water and movement. Setup: when adding the bridge it got stuck on the "Adding bridge" step and then just went back to the page to add a bridge. When clicking the button add bridge at the bottom, the screen would just flash for half a sec and do nothing else. Resetting bridge and killing app didn't help. I killed it again then it worked. Sensors were a pain too.

Glad I didn't have to pay for this. Only good thing is the home insurance discount. System kind of works. It took about 50 tries to get the bridge connected. The door sensors work, but they also go off randomly throughout the day, so I'd have zero confidence in them especially without a camera. I have a strong wifi signal and have resynced them multiple times. I've decided to just turn them into temperature sensors lol so I guess I got something.

This came free with my Hippo home insurance policy. I have spend a full hour trying to set it up, but the app is terrible. There are even spelling errors in the setup text...you have to be joking? I can't for the life of my get this thing to connect to my home network. Going to now have to deal with calling support. Unfortunate. Edit: Moving this to two stars due to excellent customer service. Had a call to attempt to fix the issue, resulting in a "nothing can be done" situation. Oh well.

I really want to like this product, but out of the excellent packaging, the bridge won't connect. Now I have a useless product sitting on my shelves that came in fancy packaging that lent itself to a great opening experience. Attempted to contact customer support... right to voice mail. 2 stars because the presentation/packaging is good... but the quality of the product and availability of customer support are unacceptable.

Tried multiple locations, but never got bridge to connect to my Wi-Fi. Waste of time. Update- Notion reached out to me quickly based on my review. They said there had been a problem on their end and suggested I try again. This time it worked as far as set-up. I will update after I see if the product is actually useful.

During the setup process, when I arrived at the step to select a wifi network, it would only show two at a time. Fortunately, it was a different two on each attempt so after the 10th try or so mine popped up and I got it to connect. Once it's set up it seems to work as promised, but the setup process was frustrating to say the least.

I've used this system for 3 years. I've always found it to be unpolished and very flaky. Recently it even signed me out with no notice, which is absolutely unacceptable for a monitoring app. Also unacceptable is that it corrupted my system at the same time. I'm going to have to delete my entire system, reset everything, and set it up all over again. I was foolish enough to buy extra sensors, so that's an additional hassle. When the sensors are placed on doors, they will send multiple "open" notifications a minute, even when the doors are closed. I turned off all door notifications because of the annoyance, which means the sensor is just hanging out. Not protecting anything. And I wouldn't be able to tell if it was really open anyways. I got this system for free from my home insurance provider, and it reduces the cost of my policy, so it's not a total waste. But still 1* because the system does not work.

HORRIBLE set up!!! Still cannot figure out how to get this set up. I've gone over the instructions on the app repeatedly and it still says it can't connect to my wi-fi, can't find sensors, etc. I have my android wi-fi turned on, location on and plugged the bridge close to the wi-fi as well and still it searches and can't find it. I went to the Notion website and watched the tutorial and my app does not give me any of the instructions that tutorial shows. Just brings up a page for me to add the sensors, but then won't find them by scanning the code, does not have the Notion brand shown and I have no other way to find it to add them. Really angry and frustrated right now!!!!

Sent this device by Hippo as a gift for choosing their home insurance. Poor gift. I work for a big tech company attempted 3 or 4 times to install and am done with it. If your screen times out during the process, it starts over. It connects to device then disconnects without adding device to service. Wifi signal strength 100% thru mesh routers still no go. Go back to the drawing board guys, for someone that does this everyday to have issues obviously it needs more attention.

The biggest issue that I had with the app on Android Pie was that notifications were not being delivered. After the notion support contacted me, it turned out that the setting of the app to detect location was set to off by default and I had chosen to receive notifications only when I was away from home. However, the app was unable to detect my location and didn't send notification. After manually enabling location detection in the app, notifications started getting delivered. Notion customer service is really great. Julian from the customer service team was very helpful in checking everything with me step by step until the issue was resolved.

Really like Notion and the app is fairly easy to use, but I've noticed that my sensors will lose connection constantly. I've got great WiFi and the bridge is pretty close to the router, so I know it isn't my internet. Would be great to not see this loss of connection anymore, or at least not as often

Please don't waste your'e time and all the trouble it takes to get this system up and running. The start-up system was sent to me free by my homeowners insurance co. After spending for all the upgrades and extra sensors, the system has been nothing but trouble' I even had to upgrade to an android phone to integrate the system to get it to work. Then all hell broke loose with false alerts and failed bridges. I purchased another new bridge and that won't install. I contacted Notion but were not helpful enough to get the system started again over the phone. Even after I received some helpful tips in the way of paths to follow and try and following all the troubleshooting tips on the i-phone and website, the bridges won't connect. I've checked my wi-fi signal, my internet connection accesses for all apps, as well as permissions,etc. I now have 3 full days trying over and over all the different tips, instructions to the letter to no avail. The bridges will not connect to the system. I have no working alarm system now and I give up. It wasn't worth all the time and expense I've gone through to have a system that started out free and added expenses and trouble to have. Save yourself from this fiasco!

Same issues I've read in other previews. Been trying to connect bridge for way over an hour. Plug in, unplug, reset button. Left bridge unplugged as un installed app, reinstalled, plugged in bridge. App, at one point said configuring, green light glowing, fading in/out like it was thinking. Bridge started flashing read, app said configuration error. Bridge started flashing green, app said connecting...then disconnected. Frustrated at this point. I give up!! My patience tonight is done!

tells me to receive unique link to become a manger on the app, the email has no unique link, and the only link provided send some here. when installed I am told to accept the invite via the email unique link, which is not provided

All of a sudden getting notifications literally every 10 minutes 24 hours a day saying system went offline, system back online, system went offline. It never ends!!! Even when I turn this type of notification OFF in the app they STILL persist. I've had to turn notifications off completely which voids the whole point of the system. Not to mention the fact that my bridge has suddenly decided to constantly disconnect. If I didn't require this product for my home insurance I would ditch it.

Bridge won't connect, device not found, check Internet connection. I did, internet is fine, tried resetting the bridge, still not working. I have a lot of wireless items running at home, sometimes they have glitches but nowhere near as bad as this, I came back here to reinstall the app and discovered the reviews, now I know that I'm not the only one, in fact if it had worked I probably would have been the only one it worked for. The bridge connected but now the sensors won't connect 'internet'.

Bad system. First unit received couldn't find my 2.4G Wi-Fi so couldn't set up bridge. Support sent a 2nd bridge. Got 2 screens further into setup then "unexpected error. Unplug bridge, try again" Tried several times with same error then reverted back to couldn't find my Wi-Fi. Support gave me a list of procedures to follow but same error. I can't get this to connect. I give up. I certainly wouldn't pay for such a poor system. I suspect the hardware probably ok but app needs whole lot more work

Frustrating and virtually useless. Like some others, my insurance policy requires it. Difficult and sometimes impossible to reset or delete and reinstall and link sensors & bridge after interruptions to the power supply. Either "Oops.. validation failed" or "Oops we're sorry, something's not quite right." It sure isn't. Fix this app or take it off the market.
