Update: uninstalling and reinstalling does not help whatsoever. If you miss a payment, or if you decide that you're not going to pay for this month and then pay the next month, it will keep kicking you out of your own profile just to remind you that there is a issue with your subscription. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Even though I paid the sub, each time I open the app it gives me an error saying there is a problem and I have to resubscribe. it also asks me for a review each time and here you go.

Stop asking me to restore my subscription when there is nothing wrong with my subscription. It's the second time that it's happened, and it messes up my front page and can't comment. The first time was an annoyance. This time I want to cancel but hope that it's fixed for good instead of finding a new app, because this one used to be my favourite. I can't have nice things anymore.

Since the second to last update the app isn't functioning as well as it did before. Oftentimes the posts and comments aren't loading. The apps says that Reddit might be down, but it works on other devices. After waiting for a while (15-30 mins) it works again for a short while until the issue starts reappearing seemingly randomly.

Perfect app. It's crippled by not being able to ever comment. Throws up an error at least 95% of the time. EDIT: added a star because that was kind of harsh and because the devs responded so fast. In response to the dev comment, I really cannot find the email but it isn't an issue with my account as when I relaunch the app that usually fixes it. However it's kind of annoying to relaunch the app especially since you have to ⭐ things to be able to get back to them since there's no history. Email?

After months (years?) of everything working fine, now I am getting the problem with the subscription although it is paid up. This is frustrating and sloppy. I'll be deleting the app soon if it can't get fixed. I've done the "fixes", uninstalling & reinstalling, deleting data and cache, and nothing helps.

Almost every day when I open the app lately, it tells me there's a problem with my subscription when there isn't and I have to hit restore subscription at least once or twice a day to get everything to work normally again. Not the biggest inconvenience but still obnoxious. I've emailed support about it and they haven't responded for days.

So, with recent update Ads went significantly bigger and are actually in a way of content. For some reason i have some bright colored ads that are really annoing with block of that size. So even though i like this app better and i paid nothing for it i guess now official app has more advantages - it is faster, has no distractions, no recurring image zoom bug, it is free. Edit: it is twice as tall as others mentioned. also there are now ads in post view that cover goot portion of comments. i'm not sure, maybe ads were there all the time, but now they are really in the way. Anyway, I would even consider purchasing ad free version if there weren't bugs not fixed for years, like resources leak when app slows down and sometimes crashes when i scroll too much (others mention it too), image zoom problems than come and go with each update,

Definitely the best Reddit app on Android, but.. The 'disable ads' is buggy. I had an issue a few months ago, where after an update made ads show up again, bit annoying, but reinstalling did fix it, but now I have a different issue, the ads came back, I re installed, after a bit it asked if I wanted to view personal ads, clicking either of the two options added ads back in. keep trying to reinstall and nothing changes.

Sadly, the app no longer allows you to log-in without a paid subscription. Although the recent changes to the Reddit API are the cause. Its still a painfull decision the remove that basic option from the app for people whom had allready purchased the previous version of the app. So i now have to review the app based on how it looks without a subscription. Unreadable.

A recent update has caused some major issues which I've seen reflected in several other reviews. Pictures will not load full screen, but will if I click on comments. Then, comments won't load unless I disconnect then reconnect to wifi, even after clearing caches and reinstalling the app. Sent you guys an email, waiting on response.

It's good, but it'd be even better if the option to enable clickable sub names on posts (as in, you click on the name and it takes you to the sub). Or maybe there is, I just couldn't find it anyways. The scrolling's kinda wack too, it feels really weird and unsmooth compared to the offical app. (There might be an option to change this, too, I was just, again, unable to find it.) Also, it should unfullscreen you whenever you press outside of the image when fullscreened.

I actually really enjoy now for reddit, have used it for as long as it's been out, and have been a paid member ever since we had to start paying. but now this month even though the money has come out of my bank account, when I try to use the app it says I have no subscription. will update my rating after this is addressed. * Fixed, was contacted by support and instructed to clear google play cache.

UPDATE- A shame so man blame the dev for charging a subscription thanks to last year's massive API price hike that blindsided third parties. There was no better alternative other than to simply go under. Still a great app, but it's up to the individual as to whether the cost is worth it. ORIGINAL- Easily the best Android app for Reddit. Unlike some of the other more bare-bones competitors out there, this one is fully featured and well designed. I also prefer its style and layout.

The only reddit app I use BUT i really wish for 2 things: 1) can you please move the "hide" menu option further away from the "share" option? It's really easy to hit hide when you're trying to share and its pretty infuriating to have 2 extreme opposite commands right on top of each other 2) related, there is no way to unhide posts from inside the app, please allow this!

Been my favorite Reddit app for a long time however now there is an ad for an app called dreame that has been opening itself constantly, like once every 30 seconds. The ad isn't visible in the app but will just open Google play store. I see a lot of low star reviews mentioning the same so I'm not hopeful this will get fixed.

I've subscribed and it keeps telling me there is an issue with my subscription and I have to 'restore' the subscription every twenty minutes or so, rendering the app unusable. This is worse than ad popping up in terms of usability. I don't see myself renewing the subscription without this issue being addressed.

Love it so far. Especially that it doesn't close itself for no reason constantly. I'd love to see some features, though: A way to swipe an open thread away to the right instead of reaching up over the huge screen and pressing a button, a way to remove the "popular" and "frontpage" reddits, a way to disable the small preview boxes under links. They break the formatting of bot responses like the RemindMe bot. Apart from those three, the app functions marvelously.

Now after buying the adfree option it's asking for payment again. I already Uninstaller and reinstalled under the account that I bought it with. I guess they need the payment again? May have to switch to a different app for reddit. Even after trying your solution, it doesn't stick. It works like once, then after opening the app again it reverts to ads again.

the problem seems to have been mostly resolved. i no longer accidentally click on banners, albeit the glitch that caused it still remains. would love "long press to save image" or some such. saving images is a serious hassle. would save image hoarders immense amounts of time. brilliant app. too bad reddit is in steady decline..

Constantly having to reinstall so ads dont show for my paid version. Gifs do not work half of the time on my tablet unless i open the page in chrome. I would try another app first. This app was great when I first installed in 2016 during the election meme wars. Time to move on. and No I dont have another account that I change to on the google store so that's not the issue.
