This is a good game to tire out the brain at the end of the night so it shuts up and you can sleep. However, I don't mind the ads. My recent problem is the ads aren't playing. It goes to play an ad and instead I get an endless black screen. No ad play, no exit button, and no "sorry try again". This has led to repeatedly having to exit the game, completely close it out, and restart it.... which prompts another ad.... and the cycle continues. Please fix this bug!
I have played this game for several years and really have enjoyed it. However, today December 11th, 2024 I started playing and have had extreme latency within the game. I force stopped the game, and the attempt to resolve the latency issue. I then restarted my phone, I've checked to make sure I've had the most recently updated app, and I have not changed my operating system which is an Android. So not sure what's going on but unfortunately if it continues and it's not resolved I will quit 😢
I like the look, but everything else sucks. Its fun, sure, if you have infinite amount of time on your hands and an attention span the size of an elephant. I have NEVER been able to finish a single game. Never. They always last for ages. Theres also so many ads. SO. MANY. Just STOP man. Ew Edit: No it aint. Ad-free options get you plenty of money, don't they? I'm not saying you can't have ads, but like, space them out or something ffs
Was looking forward to buying it to get rid of the annoying ads but this company doesn't want a one time purchase, they want a WEEKLY subscription for $7.99. Let's be real, guys. It's a cute/good game. But it's on mobile; the graphics are for numbers and squiggles, and the controls still need work (swiping down has a delay.) Yes, you can play w/o paying and continue seeing ads like they so smugly suggest so they make more money. And for that reason, this game isn't worth $7.99 even once.
Example of excessive ads: I paused the game for less than 5 seconds, looking for settings, wasn't there, or on the board page. I hit play and had to X through 4 ads to get back to the game. I decided to check how much the ad free experience was, because it's not a garbage game. AD FREE IS $10? Hey developers, that makes me want to vomit. Don't respond, I don't care. Game is OKAY at best, but you get ads constantly. Seriously, constantly. Developers are money grubby.
I have played this game for so long that I remember power-ups that no longer exist. With that said, the ads never really bothered me but they have started increasing in frequency which is troublesome. My problem with the app is the fact that recently there have been very spammy pop-ups happening. Not ads, pop-ups. Like the pop-up redirects you get online that push you towards you towards the "you've won a free prize" pages. This is the only app it happens with!
I enjoyed the game for the whole 15 hours I had it installed but the amount of ads is ridiculous and very annoying. Every single time you want more numbers, there's an ad, every time you wanna use a bomb or a hint, there's an ad. You wanna start over? Watch this add first. Oh and let's not forget about the times when you have to watch an ad out of the blue to continue. It's just taking all the fun out of this game... too bad
I used to love this game. It required more thought than many others. But since about two months ago the frequency of having to sit through ads greatly increased. Now I spend more time watching ads than in game play! That is wrong! Especially because the change happened during the pandemic. Many of us turn to these games to cope with the issues raised by isolation, such as depression or loneliness. But the increase in ads just adds to the depression. I thought we're all helping each other? No.
The fact that they ask for a 5 star review after the demo, before you see a single ad in this ad riddled game is telling. Far too many ads to make the gameplay worth it. For what its worth, the gameplay is very novel and I enjoyed it. That being said, I ended up spending more time on ads than actually playing the game. Also no option I could see to remove ads like many other games have for a 1 time purchase. If such an option was made available I would consider returning.
Hey devlopers! I love the simplicity of this game. It oddly keeps my attention for hours. I love the concept and the design of this game. I ask for one thing. The cute characters at the top should have powers. Could you update the game to click on characters to use different power-ups. As in click on the purple monster to use a hint. Or add more power ups. For example, Avacado clears all of a certain number that you choose off the board. Power-ups would make the game easier and more fun! Pls!
It's a good concept dont get me wrong. However there are many shortcomings. The instructions aren't exactly clear. I finally figured it out after roughly 10 minutes of play. The other place it falls short is theres too many ads which is a problem in most free games. I understand you can pay to avoid ads but its $4 a WEEK or $12 a MONTH. I'd be more than happy to pay a one time $5 to not see an ad again. I'm willing to bet most other people are too.
I would have given this app 5 stars, as I really enjoy this game, but you have to wait through a 30 second ad for EVERYTHING you do. If I'm in the middle of a game and just pop over to something else quick (like an email that has popped up) I have to wait through an ad just to restart my game. I understand ads to regenerate un-dos and hints, but for crying out loud-- to RESUME my game?!?! I just had to watch 3 ads in a row for it to let me just resume my game. Cmon...
The game itself is quite fun, but the ads drive me berserk: half the time it can't access the video ads, so you're stuck without being able to continue the game; other times the ad plays, but it doesn't register. Many of the ads don't have volume controls, so they can't be muted. The paid options are way too high - I'd probably pay half what they're asking, because it is otherwise a fun game, but I certainly won't pay that much when I don't trust that I'll even get whatever I'm paying for.
This game is a lot of fun and its a same they are so greedy. The amount of ads is ridiculous as well as the fact that everything costs exorbitant amounts. Want to pay for no ads? $15 bucks, want no adds and be able to use hints and undoubtedly? 4 bucks a week. This game is a lot of fun and if you want to pay that much I would recommend it. But it is far to expensive for my taste.
No casual game is worth $7.99 a week. From the reviews, it looks like their pricing is either random or changes frequently, but always a large amount. So far as gameplay goes, I've played other versions of this game that I enjoyed more. Not only did I find the ads excessive, I thought the cartoony character theme distracted from the game rather than enhanced it. This game is meant to be difficult if not impossible to solve, but it doesn't actually train your brain or logic skills at all
I used to love this game a couple years ago. It's been one of those games where I play it for a while and then delete it, then redownload when it crosses my mind again. However, the ads now are atrocious. I got up to do something when an ad started, came back and closed the ad, then immediately got another ad. Want a new set of numbers added? Ad. Unpause the game? Ad. But I know they have to make their money somehow and I'm certainly not willing to pay the $6 for ad free.
I have played this game before, but from another developer. I love the game, but it just takes SO long to play a full game. After a while my eyes start getting tired and the numbers start to get fuzzy and hard to see. (Not necessarily your fault.) I would love to have the option of 'unlimited hints', but I can't see paying so much for just the hints!! $7.99/month is just way too much to pay just for the main benefit of unlimited hints. It's just not worth it.
The game is so choked with ads that it's essentially unplayable. It starts with an ad to buy the "full" version. My first game was interrupted twice to play an ad, I didn't even get to finish the first game. On the second ad, I uninstalled. Money-grabbing garbage like this does not need to be on the app store, this behavior gives mobile gaming a bad name, even if this isn't the worst behavior.
I found number games in general to be helpful when it comes to my anxiety and insomnia. This game was very good, made my mind shut up and slow down. But the ad interruptions sort of defeated the purpose. And the constant check out page poping up, all ready to go. Pissed me off to the point of finally deleting the game. I'll miss it, but I won't tolerate such crude business practices.
I initially enjoyed the game a lot. However, as much as I understand the need for ads, the way ads are triggered has forced me to uninstall it. When I've tried to run a podcast so I can listen to it while playing, the pause triggers an ad. As a result, I get trapped in an infinite loop that never allows me to re-enter the game. I would be willing to pay for the game to stop the ads but not $9.99. Developers, your avarice is both obvious and appalling.
