Waste of time. I've uploaded multiple images of bum honeowners that don't shovel their property. 24 hours later, snow still there and they get no violation. I have to keep walking on the street to avoid the ice.

App does not allow u 2 correct their GPS errors on blocked driveway. Your complaint will have the wrong address guaranteed. I tried for abt 15 minutes, first to correct the address that populated incorrectly in the app, then to train the GPS to the correct location (backing up or going forward). Neither effort worked. I had to end up calling instead.

I just tried to enter a no hot water complaint specific to a residential facility's mens room shower; when I tried to enter correct location data, the GPS prompt moved further down the street the other way! Data fields are deliberately vague, & without option to refine a request! There's no excuse in the greater good's sakes for this kind of ineptitude in coding an app! Most pulldowns from a given prompt get nowhere, and logically disable detail entry that would have a plaintiff seeing action.

This app would be much better if there were more addresses added to it. I live in the Bronx in an area near Manhattan College and the college kids are very Rowdy out in the streets. We are constantly calling the police to come and chase them away but this app has none of the addresses in the area for us to type in. We have to physically call 311 or the local police station directly. Please update this app!

Used to be a one-stop shop for reporting issues. Now it seems half the issues are simply links to other agencies (DOT for potholes, ConEd for steam from a pothole). Tech has developed enough APIs, it should be easy to integrate these issues into the app itself. After an app update (not an upgrade) on Dec 19, 2022, fewer integrated report issue problems.

Wish I can like this app. Would be great if the police actually response to the complaint. called 311 and file complaint many times through the app for noise complaint but either they respond hours later or "determined that police action was not necessary". Next door neighbor would start blasting music or playing musical instruments at 1 am in the morning, sometimes after, started at 4 am last night, filed a complaint but nothing happens. Neighbors does this at least once or twice a week during night time and all day during daytime, nonstop!! I've also noticed, everytime when I select as a "recurring problem" the response I get is "determined that police action was not necessary". No point of this app, they are only good for general info but not situations like these.

I have had no luck with 311. I have complained about falling debris at a construction site and nothing was done. There is also unsecured items constantly banging into the wall all night and nothing was done. I have seen the inspectors come and look at the outside of the site and when told to inspect the site, they have said they can see from the outside. They close complaints without investigation. What is the use for this service if you don't investigate?

Not perfect but it helps me get rid of annoying repeat offenders that block my driveway. I take picture of license plate and a shot showing the situation then submit. I think they get violation tickets even when the police were late to come. Those drivers who knew that police will not come before they are back from shopping or visiting my neighbors never leave their vehicles unattended blocking my driveway. Seldom now that I have to wait even for several hours to have access to my driveway.

App used to be okay but now it sucks. Instead of being an actual in-app experience for requests it just sends you to the website forms. I guess that is one way of cutting costs by having the app support be handled by the HTML/website support instead of multi-os mobile app developers.

Noise complaint GPS location was imprecise. House number was 9 off. The app does not allow you to manually enter or correct the address. When I realized the service address was wrong I deleted the request but I received an email saying that the police completed the request. Was a visit made to the wrong address? The app is convenient and great. Kudos to New York City government.

Great app overall. however, I do hate the fact that in order to report something like illegal parking or potholes, the location needs an exact address. Most of the time, these occur at non-standarized locations such as exit ramps right off the highway...

This app appears to be related to services that residents are interested in and NOT information for visitors. I deleted it because I didn't see anything related to information for me as a tourist.

I have used this app for several reasons. It is a very easy way of getting information about alternate side parking and requesting repairs for potholes in the city. I have also used their texting and got an immediate response.

When you put in a service request (blocked driveway, abandoned car, down tree, broken sidewalk) they immediately close it out falsely claiming that they responded. In 5 minutes??? This app is just another way for the city to ignore your concerns.

App has a lot of potential, but no way to engage or follow up after filing report. Needs a way to pin location when it's not exactly in front of a specific address. I have a persistent blocked driveway problem and numerous times I have filed blocked driveway complaint with pictures, but NYPD does not read complaint, checks the wrong driveway and close complaint with no action

used to be a good app that I use daily to Port things such as graffiti, that taxi drivers, homelessness, etc. with the recent update they Cutlass options on the app and drink a lot of the options towards the website which is not very user-friendly when using a mobile device. I treated 311 about this condition but haven't heard anything back from them so I uninstalled the app

I have tried utilizing this app as an alternative to calling the police or 911 for things like heavily obstructed sidewalks, abandoned vehicles, or pest situations. Not only are the operators great at finding a reason to not have to do anything, but they do so with a rudeness I am still surprised by even after trying to use this service several times. Faster to just inconvenience the emergency dispatch. I have no idea what this program is supposed to offer the community at this point.

Hello, I’d like to leave feedback regarding a feature that used to be available in the past. The app previously had an option to add "ALTERNATE PARKING" to the mobile or Google calendar, which was very helpful. I’d like to request that this feature be brought back. Thank you for your time.

You make reports and they go in a circular file. Nice idea but no follow-up. Agents don't appear to have a current map. they couldn't locate Borough Place or understand the difference between Astoria Blvd North or South in Queens. This is scary in an emergency.

Frustration. No way to note an address. I've used the desktop app for years. Calling is too slow. Tried using it again today. Still useless. Why it has a 4.3 rating i don't know. 2022-1008 new problem. Claims network failure after I answer all questions. Waste of my time. Also doesn't provide address. That should have been my cue that it had a problem. 2023-0505 just installed Open Camera. This app still goes to original camera. Should ask.
