Their website spins you in circles pushing you towards their "free app" and then of course when you download it they ask for your credit information so they can bill you for a service you know absolutely nothing about. Didn't list anything about a subscription from what I read on the website and I can't stand companies that rely on manipulation tactics to sell product. Usually when they do that it's because the product can't sell itself.

location is extremely inaccurate; it had my phone almost 2 miles away from where I was (AT HOME) with no way to correct it. there was no instructions or steps or anything on how to use features or what certain symbols meant or anything. I guess the only way to get the "good" and therefore safe and helpful version of this app is to pay for it.

App doesn't work. It pulls up a few offenders but there's no information on them in the app, it takes you online to the registry and not even to the offender page. You might as well just go to the site online. This app is useless. Can't get the app to do much of anything, tried searching a bigger area but it doesn't do anything. I saw the bad reviews and thought I'd see if it had been fixed - a big NO. Stop commenting on reviews that the app works when it clearly doesn't.

The app is very limited in access. Cannot customize the ring associated with my location to broaden. Was not able to select work addresses, as it appears the app defaults to home address. To view other areas of our small city, I have to leave the app and find an address in google to use it in the search function of the app. The DCI website is quirky too, but allows alot more map customization.

This app is BAD. Pumps you for an inordinate amount of info about yourself and your kids... It is wrong, for a safety app, to make you feel it is appropriate to ever just give away all this info to an unknown entity at the jump, just because they asked. I signed up then attempted to do one thing - search offenders near me. I let it sit 20 minutes and the search never completed. You can't go back, so I closed the app. Tried again, failed again. This is nonfunctional! Don't bother.

This particular app is busted. It simply does not work, and does not perform any of the advertised functions. Cool setup, though. Keep working on it, please. Edit: I'm not the only one that said the app doesn't work. You can repeatedly press buttons that do absolutely nothing. The scrolling portion of the "Select family member" feature, is BUSTED. You cannot scroll or even select anything, in order to move forward. So... that means your reply is entirely incorrect. I've uninstalled. Good day.

HORRIBLE, STINKY.APP! You do NOT NEED ALL THAT PERSONAL INFORMATION you ask from us! This is a bogus site that tricks us into giving personal information the police normally can't demand from us and we are tricked into volunteering it! Shame on whoever came up with this 1984 BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU app. Then you have the NERVE, after we've VOLUNTEERED that information to suddenly. In the the last page of it all. Demand $10 from us! Why didn't you put the cost of this app in paragraph #1?

It seems like it COULD be an okay app if it actually worked. But, it doesn't. It baffles me that such an incompetent app gets recommended on LVMPD's website. When it does work, it's decent. it technically works for about 3 out of the 20ish offenders that popped up, but the rest just send you to an error page to which there is no X'ing out of or going back to the app. The notification for a paid upgrade absolutely works, though! THAT part, they absolutely made sure functions properly.

Does not work!!!!! Won't register my account, but when I tried to register again, it said I was already registered. Tried to log in, but it said there was an error and the little circle just kept spinning. What is the point of this app when it doesn't work? Smh..

Mostly useless. It wants more information from you than it actually provides. If you're looking for a map that shows the residence of offenders in your area - this isn't it.

The most pathetic app ever it show nothing, it showed one location and doesn't let you check more than one, it just asks if you want to save the location, after that nothing.

i appreciate the effort making an app like this where we can see child predators in the area. for some reason there seems to be no other sex offender map apps. however this one only has a narrow fixed radius on my location and i cant search outside that radius. 2 stars.

This app doesn't work. Set it up correctly and while attempting to do a search it just spins and spins. Uninstalled, reinstalled and same thing. If you can get it to work for android, I'll try again... Maybe

I put in my address and no sex offenders are visible in the whole state....I find that hard to believe. App is worthless. I tried several different ways including searching near my phone, choosing an address...nothing.

1 star since I haven't been able to log in since installing app and creating account. It keeps saying password is wrong and when you try to reset password the link that you are sent is broken and gives you error code.

App might be a scam. Created account and it was happy with my credentials! Tried to login with exact same credentials and got locked out after 5 tries. Why do you require a login anyway this is public information via the sex offender registry.

The app works great and my neighbors are ok. They only ask for payment if you want upgrade otherwise it's free and easy to navigate.

Too intrusive when it comes to information (ironic). I can literally pull up a criminal's location thru the state Police website. Hard pass. PS Stop sending mailers to people's homes.

Downloaded and searched. I know 2 offenders in my local area and they did not show. Search comes up blank. This app is horrible. Uninstalling it now. Learn to make an app, not pocket the government money.

I read the reviews but download the app anyway. MISTAKE, all mine did was go around in circles like others had claimed. Since my county sheriff recommended this, if it continues to not work the I will contact him also to let him know this is a waste of our county money. Please don't blow me off like past reviewers.
