The app is easy to use and navigate. I however do not feel entirely satisfied with the need to schedule another visit each month to get a simple script refilled. I am likely to go back to my local clinic and get the 12 month script for the ease of receiving the script and will likely cancel One Medical subscription. convenience is key in today's world.
Update: they aren't transparent about this, but you don't need to pay the "membership". You need to call and ask for Limited Access (it means no app access). I had the app, but you have to call and not all representatives are familiar with it. Original: It was great until the Amazon acquisition. My doctor and others have left, and there are fewer doctors to choose from. Customer service on the app is also slower.
Just joined and have had to fill out the questionnaire twice (super annoying since I have a lot of medical issues requiring a lot of medication, so inputting all of this information takes a while). I'm not sure I have the patience to fill it out again. There really needs to be an auto-save option for the form or something to make this process less painful and clunky. Suggestion: add more options for illnesses/diagnoses, so all we have to do is check a box.
The app itself seems to be glitch free, however the full experience is why the one star. The service, and medical is still service (in theory), is not clearly defined. One set of appointments and prices thru the app and another via the Amazon website. Their motto could be "We're budget friendly now but wait till you need something". Construct from their as to your ability. 😉
In and of itself the app works fairly well. I was not able to add an elderly parent so I could just easily switch patients with logging out and back in. The reason we left one Medical is their app/records system does not integrate with other doctors. One Medical doctors could not see what was done by specialist, nor could specialist see what was done by One Medical. I am now using only doctors who use Epic. Most of the doctors use Mychart, but not all. I don't keep transferring records.
This app is pretty much trash on Android. The ability to take a clear photo of your insurance card is not possible. I have a Samsung S10. Push notifications are inconsistent. Thank goodness I get email reminders. The questionnaire is not adaptive. Respond with "None of the above" and the following prompt asks you for more details 🙄. This app has a ways to go before it's useful for more than simply booking an appointment.
This app used to work great, but now I can't even log into it on my Google Pixel 4XL (Android OS). I enter my login credentials and the app just reverts to the home/landing screen with CTAs to "login" or "sign up" This has been an issue for at least a month, unsure how it has gone so long without being resolved. In the meantime I can only access my account on a desktop device.
Deceptive and basically a scam. They advertise virtual visits but there were no appointments available. None. Just a blank calendar when I selected my location (which was on their drop-down list) + virtual visit. Immediately cancelled.
One Medical itself remains a great service despite Amazon's ownership. This app has really started to fall off in quality. notably, there is no way to disable the new "AI assistant". Every time I need to leave the app, I'm put into the AI assistant whenever I return. (e.g. in the middle of responding to a message from my doctor and need to check my calendar to answer a question? When I return, I'm in the AI assistant instead of my in-progress message.)
THERE IS NO PROMPT TO LOG IN. Every time I open the app I get the page to pay and sign up for medicalcare. . I'm already a member. You have to navigate trying to find where to log in. You might get lucky after trying several links. otherwise the app us great, IF it wasn't so difficult to sign in
New Android Member here. I find this app to be user friendly. I particularly like how easy it is to schedule appts, view lab results & message providers. One suggestion....Notifications to schedule appts should have a 4th link "Scheduled completed" ..or some such wording. This can be moved to a link to say "Upcoming Appts"......as it is now its a bit annoying to have to ignore (for weeks & months) the pop ups regarding you click on options that do not lapply ( I have seen the provider etc..)
do not recommend this. paid the 100$ fee on Amazon yet when I try to link it to my Amazon one medical app I get an error. open the one medical app and it's still asking me to upgrade my membership. not to mention my insurance is still "pending review". bad app. bad service.
upgraded to membership, but doesn't show in app. still can't do stuff. no way to contact customer support. stuck in some login upgrade flow
After the update, I can no longer log in to the app, which is the ONLY way to access the Urgent Care I pay for via my monthly subscription. This is happening on BOTH IOS & Android. ••• I ended up having to do an Urgent Care by phone, & the experience with Upasna Sharma NP was TERRIBLE!!!!!!
Doctors and medical staff are great. Admin are unresponsive. There's no point in concierge medical service if you can never do anything or talk to anyone. This app used to be phenomenal until Amazon bought them and ran the company into the ground.
This is an absolute scam, never receive medical care through this service. a 10 minute zoom call for a referral to a specialist was billed as $1000. The specialist billed less than a fourth of this for in-person actual care, stay away.
very frustrating, can't type in the boxes. you just get stuck and cannot proceed. waste of time.
Love it when I can't even log into my health care provider. Just an endless spinner on the loading screen. Especially because I was railroaded into using the app in the first place in order to have a remote appointment. So now I can't go back to the web version and I can't log into the app. Guess I'll have to boot up my computer instead.
Made for iPhones. Constantly have issues logging in. Takes you in loops. Can't join video appointments. Log in process: No option to login just sign up. Have to select "get started without membership" to get to the login page. Doesn't make sense.
update: still won't let me log in. I need a prescription urgently and I can't even log in. the app is just so incredibly bad. 1) can't log in anymore (indefinite spinning wheel) 2) uploaded a clear screenshot of my digital insurance card that it somehow couldn't process 3) doesn't let you manually enter insurance info
