Brillant App, works fine and very informative. only issue is i have set my calorie goal but now unable to modify!

Whenever going for a GPS walk, I need to let it run for a couple of minutes before pocketing my phone, otherwise it doesn't track with GPS. Not to mention, app with GPS and devise give completely different information while synched on a walk, usually the GPS app tracks around 400m more... How can they not be linked? Terrible experience so far to be honest
