The app had worked well the last few years. But constantly have issues with technicians calls being dropped during the transfer. Now the app keeps having issues where we can't delete voicemail from the app I have to go directly into the base phone. also it would have been nice if the base phone number would have also been a text able number. I get this complaint from numerous customers. And I constantly mid call have to be texting them from the app so they can contact us.

It works ok for the most part but I do have very frequent wifi disconnects while on calls, even though I'm always 20 feet from the router. My desktop applet stopped working a year ago and it is finally back to working after the last update in November 2025. It can use some improvement for aure but I am still able to manage my company's phones from home while recovering from surgeries and working remotely.

I had to use One Talk for work. Its the worst phone app I've ever used. Consistent poor connection causes calls to drop & fail to go out & come in. If you have a hunt group, it isn't an option to text from the main number for the hunt group. Group texts don't work. Call forwarding is unnecessarily complicated. Constant issues like voicemails being overriden & texts not coming in properly. Poor support. Got it on my personal phone just to leave a bad review. Convinced my boss to get rid of it.

terrible for work. need to use it but it is very inconsistent between desktop and cell phone versions. cant really search for anything in the bar for quick follow ups either, it just appears as blank. also sending a message on the phone sometimes doesnt have a record of it on the desktop version. needs serious updates.

Prepare for lost business! It's impossible to know how much business this app has cost me. The biggest problem is that voicemails or texts will OFTEN show up 8-24 hours after the time stamp shows they were left. I rely on my voicemail to alert me of new clients as soon as possible. Not the next day. One Talk only client calls and texts will also randomly go to my personal number, for unknown reasons. This app is a nightmare.

Fails to ring or transmit incoming text messages. I'm so mad. I run a business and this looses me money! This app should be free until you can ensure our clients can actually connect with us. Missed calls, missed messages, contacts do not sync still from device to device... even after I select "business". Call log is useless. It seems like we are the testers of this project. Except, we pay to test their products. Not the other way around.

When we first started using the app it worked pretty well. Intermittent issues with VoIP calls but all in all worked good. As of the last 4-6 months having an issue with the forwarding. we will forward to a specific number and activate it. It shows forwarded to that specific number and later it will automatically un-forward. At other times it will un-forward and the re-forward to another number in our group but not the number we had it forwarded to. This causes a huge issue.

UPDATE: Updating from 1 star to 3 because my main complaint was due to a setting I selected. User error 🙃. Still not the best, but probably not the worst. INITIAL REVIEW: The interface is clunky and not user-friendly at all. One of the biggest issues is that it doesn't identify incoming calls from the app, making it impossible to tell if it's a personal or office call. On top of that, the call log is often inaccurate, which makes it difficult to track important conversations.

Used to constantly crash. Huge thanks to the developers, they finally fixed that. Still some occasional technical issues, though much less. We've had calls that haven't come through. Not the most user friendly platform but not the worst either. One thing that really bugs me is that when adding a new phone, the company contact list does not carry over--lots of lost effort on contacts I created, but lost when I had to reinstall the app.

Love the concept for our small business, but the execution couldn't be much worse. We use One Talk to make and receive calls, and voice mail. Calls are consistently dropped and the app freezes requiring restart. Connection is often not clear. I have spent hours on the phone with tech support ( not on the one talk app) and the solution always seems to be to delete and reload the app. Hmmm. It didn't work.

At best, it is serviceable at a bare minimum level. At worst it is buggy and cumbersome. Call quality is poor unless you use the call through feature. Have to uninstall and reinstall frequently because outbound calling with this feature stops working out of nowhere and gives the vague "something went wrong" error when trying to switch back. Considering what else is available in the the unified communications space, this feels like a step backward.

I give the service one star but if I had the option to give zero stars for the app, I would. The service itself is unreliable on a good day. The app is completely useless. Texting doesn't work on the phone app at all for receiving texts. It doesn't work on desktop for sending texts. The days it does work for phone service the call quality is horrendous over the phone app no matter if it's set to call through or not. We just forward all calls to personal cell phones. Looking into alternatives now

I use this app daily for work and I'm frustrated by it daily. So many issues! It drops calls constantly especially after the most recent update. If I connect to Wi-Fi it will drop a call within a few minutes every single time. When I'm using my data it normally doesn't drop calls. However, after the recent update calls are dropped within a couple minutes regardless of whether I'm connected to Wi-Fi or not. This could be a great tool if it didn't suck so bad.

Fix this issue and I'll fix my review... I'm complaining on here in front of everyone, because they won't respond to any of my emails. When you make phone calls a bubble pops up over all your apps that gives options while on the call. After you're done with the call, the bubble stays until you force close the app. Give us an option to drag it to a trash can or something! Moving it does nothing for me. It's also useless after a call because when you tap it brings you a screen that never loads..

This is one of the most frustrating piece of software I have ever encountered. Half the time it doesn't "ring" when the desk phone does. You have to go into Settings - Apps - Force Stop. Clear cache and then restart. Other times it rings but if you answer the desk phone the app won't disconnect. You guessed it. Settings - Apps - Force Stop. I wish it would just do what it's supposed to do. Be a cloned extension of my desk phone.

Terrible. The app won't vibrate for incoming calls, and when I get a call on my regular number coming in while I'm on a call in the app, it automatically puts the app call on hold. There is no way to fix this in the settings. Voicemails sometimes won't be deletable for months at a time. The screen won't go dark when I hold the phone to my hear so my face bumps the buttons sometimes. Would not recommend, and I wouldn't be using it if it weren't required through my employer.

Its like we're going back to the year 2002 with voicemail technology again. You can't just click on a message, or read the text of a message like nearly every other VoIP app out there. If you are looking for an app based VoIP system this is not it. Call quality stinks on wifi (even high speed business wifi). We switched our business phones over because it allowed us to bundle a bunch of things together and save a few bucks...In retrospect I would have just continued paying the few bucks extra a month for better service and an app that is worth it...

Update- we have had this app for YEARS now We have given it plenty of time to "work out the kinks", we've worked with tech support. NOTHING! It is still TERRIBLE!. It constantly disconnects even though my phone itself has service and is getting calls/text. Same issues! Completely unacceptable for a business platform Constantly dropping calls and disconnecting so calls don't come through at all. When its discovered multiple voicemails will be waiting, customers missed. Unacceptable!

We use this ap for our small business. The call quality is inconsistent, and calls are dropped when transferring to a different line. We keep it because it is the only game in town that we know of, but it is lacking, especially for what we pay. I will say having the ability to put the business phone on Do Not disturb is very nice. I also find that it doesn't record missed calls, especially if the phone is on DND or if a voicemail was left. I also have to go in and listen to every voicemail.

This is quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had with a service I pay for. If you're considering this for your business, don't. Over half of all my calls are dropped mid-call. Half of all my calls out say the number has been disconnected when it hasn't. About half of all my calls don't even ring my phone and the missed call notification doesn't show up for another minute to 20 minutes. It happens on my Pixel, it happens on my iPhone, it happens on my android, it doesn't matter.
