Very easy and intuitive, I am flying without a Registered aircraft as I'm using the under 250g battery while I study for my part 107, so in order to complete the request form, I filled in the Registration Number (N#) with "under 250g", this was accepted and I was granted permission to fly. Next question is; I was allowed to fly in my reserved time and location, so what or how do we request a clearance to fly with a partner drone?

Good app, but support for national parks is next to useless, especially given parks are about the only place you can fly, but then you can't fly (at least in VIC) because they're a national park. Parks you wouldn't think are national parks are in fact national parks and therefore restricted, but the appropriate advice is not being given by the app. If I can't trust national park information to be correct, then how can I trust any information to be correct? End result: app is useless

This has insufficient information for checking the restricted area briefings. U can't tell what the restricted area is called for looking up if it's active or not. I saw an app for the USA in a YouTube video which seemed to have built in capability to get approval from national parks to fly. Having a quick, automated system to do that would be very convenient. Is that something you could look into?

Useful way to plan a drone flight and make sure it complies with current geography based CASA rules. Having the ability to log in and sync flights across devices is handy too. I'm hoping they will add the ability to delete flights as well. I had some planned flights that didn't happen due to poor weather conditions. These are marked as completed even though they didn't happen and now I can't delete them. It appears you can only cancel flights before the scheduled time. Unhelpful. Plans change

Incredibly slow loading of any data to the point of unusable, servers likely hosted overseas. If you're going to have users in Australia, make it load data from Australia. Takes longer than 15 seconds to load every time you pan or zoom. Often it never ends up loading. UI is otherwise, very good. Shame it's unusable.

Used to be great, something broke. The bottom window no longer pulls up anything, constantly appearing as if it's loading. I can choose to fly for 30 minutes, nothing else. Feedback in app appears to go to Google, not to OpenSky. Clearing cache does not appear to fix.

It's good and easy to use, but I realised it is at least missing a layer for national parks which are no-fly for Victoria without a permit (other states differ). The app is also quite sluggish when scrolling on the map. I think it's busy redrawing the zone polygons every scroll. Can I suggest instead of auto-redraw, you provide a button to do this once I've got my map marker at the right place?

It's good but it missed an important notice and did not tell me that there was a no fly zone and the fbi and police showed up at my door. I'm waiting to see if they send me a citation. The app said no flying 1 hour before after an event and I was flying at least 4 hours before for literally less than 2 minutes. They showed up in less than 5 minutes. I don't know if there is better communications needed with local events or what.

For the DJI drones listed there is a Mini 2 listed and a Mini 3 Pro., but no Mini 3 (non-pro). Normally something like that wouldn't even bother me but when requesting FAA clearance in controlled airspace I want to be sure I'm doing everything 100% legally. I haven't used the app to request LAANC yet, So I just put in an average rating. I will adjust that after purposeful use. Seems pretty straight forward though! "Increased to Five Stars after prompt and helpful response from developers.*

Was 5 Star App Until 6/28 Update. Map loads without the controlled and restricted zone overlays like it used too. The icon still tells you if your are in a good location or not, but without the controlled zone overlay you don't know if you are flying into a zone your are not supposed to be in.

the app works well for me. the presentation of information is easy to follow. i am not sure i like the large location/info icon at screen centre. it should perhaps be half the size so that i does not interfere with the view. as we pan the map the app is updating but perhaps it would be better for it to delay a bit until we have decided on a position. the feedback icon should be moved to the menu though I understand at this time you may be encouraging feedback.

We haven't used this yet. Please update the list of Drones to include the DJI Mini 5 Pro.

Useless for up to date no fly info when it comes to emergency situations, bushfires etc. App shows good to fly when there are emergency crews on the ground and helicopters flying. The areas in question have been a red zone for the past week so open sky had plenty if time to update. Bring back can i fly there!!

'Can I fly there' was a significantly superior app! The locked central point is impossible to use with any accuracy especially when zooming out. There are no links from the checklists to further information and the rules or what does a "!" mean really etc.

In order to submit a flight plan, I have to add my faa registration number? You would think it should be easy right? No. After I put in the certificate number and date issued, it wants to know when the last registration date was. This makes no sense. I don't have a last registration date. No matter what date you put in, it won't let you advance to the next screen. I guess fly without authorization?

At this stage I think this app will easily allow people to ignore rules because it does not provide enough specific information. We need everyone to be clear on the rules and this app should be more explicate. For example: When in an area with restrictions all it says on the checklist is "operating near a known heliport" or similar. There's no explanation of any rules or what I should do in such an area. The "Learn More" button just links to the CASA web site listing a few of the general drone flyer rules. The "Can I Fly There" app provides a reasonably detailed summary of what I can or cant do at a location, apart from having weather information and flight log function

I wanted to like this more than AutoPylot. I like that it stores my drone info. And doesn't advertise insurance everywhere. But the competitor simply works better. I tried submitting LAANC auto approval here and it kept giving me an error. Did it in the other app, instant approval. Also the competitor app warned me about a nearby hospital helipad that this did not. This needs to just work. And well... So for now I'll stick with AutoPylot. Hope to revisit this app and be proven wrong later!

Pretty much useless. The dji fly app shows a lot more than this. I checked this, tried to fly and got a geo can't fly warning. Didn't see any reason why until I launched the dji fly app and saw that I was still in a zone. The drone literally wouldn't launch.

I like this app except every time I fly I have to put in my last name on pilot to continue even though I tell it to save. I guess it's just a log of my flight, unlike Air Aware where I can notify and fly and it shows up as an advisory to pilots, etc.
