Opera browser with AI

It is a good browser. but amazon silk browser has features opera doesn't. there is a reload button, search bar, a quick button to make a website a favorite or a bookmark, a new page button, and settings button all on the top of the screen without crowding. you see your tabs at the top of the screen like on a computer and can make tab groups. in the settings there are many more features than opera features it lacks. You would need to see it yourself. silk browser doesn't work without fire os.

I like this browser app as it has a dark mode also easy to use. The speed dial feature is nice for sites I use a lot or I need to get to quickly. EDIT: still using/liking this browser. The QR code to sync/connect will appear on my new phone but not on my old phone. Want to stay as Guest. EDIT: 2-24-26 gave up on syncing just redid all the shortcuts to my new phone. Would love to see font sizing added and/or color setting in a future update. Also icon sizing would be nice.

been using it for months and loved it. loved the VPN, adblocker, tracker blocker, loved everything. then a few days ago I started getting ads like a normal web browser would, pop ups and banners, mini videos, and full screen ads. couldn't fix it, so I sent a bug report. now I can't get a single webpage to load past 3/4. I restarted my phone, checked WiFi and 5g, and eventually ended up trying un/reinstall method. it worked for about 2 sites worth of browsing and we're back to the same problem.

I have used Opera in it's many forms for both pc and mobile for years and have only now come to have an issue with the browser. For whatever reason, certain websites to not like Social Media login hyperlinks. But, other than that, with the functionality being overtly impressive and the resource consumption staying well beyond reasonable, I can say I don't have any reason to use any other browser. As Todd Howard said, "It just, works."

I love the fact that I can just watch my YouTube videos in peace. I love watching long educational videos while doing the dishes or working out, and it's SO annoying having to stop everything to skip through an ad or something... this is no longer an issue, and it's free! I always felt it was scummy to flood a website with ads and then offer "ad free" by making people pay for it. Now, I can watch my videos in peace without having to pay for it. It's so awesome.

I've been using nothing but opera for a qhile I run everything through opera and what I've found is that this app is trash because unless you're using it for it's base VPN features and only use the search engine through opera it's services function well. However, you want to use the add blocker? maybe another app through opera? well screw you because it not only limits but heavily pushes you to use the original app. Which makes no sense because don't you want people to use your app Opera?

I love the idea of this browser, especially in the UK which is turning more 1984 every day. But sadly it doesn't work for me. It is painfully slow to the point that it's unusable. Many pictures etc never even load. Some sites take minutes to load parts of a full page. I installed it in my phone and tablet just to be sure, the results are identical on both. Shame.

Everything works great. But I have some suggestions: ①Ability to translate page & change text settings (font, size, spacing) in reader mode ②Access to forward button history with long press even with bottom address bar ③Option to save as PDF that's like Opera Windows (the whole webpage is saved as 1 page). And there's an issue that often occurs after I added a new tab in tab groups: swiping the address bar left to navigate tabs moves it to rightmost tab of all tabs rather than the tab next to it

Much better than Firefox or DuckDuckGo. Smoother and more efficient than Chrome. I was using Chrome for years, then I switched to Opera. It's smooth and fast browsing, with no unnecessary pop up pages or separate link pages that burden Chrome browsing. I tested it side by side with Chrome, using the exact same search and browsing pages on each and found that Opera sorted through the sites and pages much more efficiently. Better bookmark features, easier browser history cleaning, and free VPN.

The new update has made the mobile view of the browser wonky. The settings for the size of texts no longer works properly like it did before. Now everything is extremely large and zoomed in or entirely too small and hard to read. I opened the browser today, and I swear the people in the next state could read the web page I was on. Going into the settings to try and adjust the size just made everything so small I could barely see the text and images. Why fix what isn't broken?

just uninstalled the app because it is absolute garbage when it comes to downloading anything. Half the time download links don't respond and if they do the opera browser can't download more than one thing at a time without apparently losing its mind. It will stop a small download during the process and just show a question mark on the ETA and then take several minutes to start back and it does this constantly for no reason. Tried different browsers on the same device and never saw this problem.

Now, before I start, I'd like to say I'd actually give it a 4.5 star rating if I had the option, 5 star is a bit generous. Opera is unique. It didn't give me pop-ups at all, and I found the features like the VPN, ad-blocker, and AI very useful. However, I would like more customization options on the mobile version. I'd also like them to try to reduce lag when using the VPN and ad-blocker. As far as mobile browsers go, I'd like to say this is the best, especially if you're the right person for it

If you really want to make it more modern and advanced, you need to make it possible to translate several texts into several languages at the same time, with one simple setting reset, and get accurate, error-free translations into whatever language the user wants—all in one go. For example: “Translate these texts into these languages and that’s it.” Honestly, the translation settings are complete garbage. Thanks

Bug reports are completely ignored. I have tickets opened more than a year ago, and they haven't even been assigned to any IT person or closed, or commented on in any way... They're just they're in the system, either as "open", "to do" or (most frequently) "unsorted" tickets. They could at least close the ticket if they don't want to do it, but they're just ignored :| Today, Opera has crashed on me so many times that I'm considering switching to a different browser, after so many years...

Recently, ads with obnoxiously loud sound have started automatically playing on the home screen, muting my music. Often it starts playing just as I start searching, then I have to go back and mute it, then play my music again before starting to search again. Annoying feature. Opera blocks ads on other websites which is great, but now they have their own annoying ones!

Best browser out there! This is the original mobile browser and the first with the ability to download!! Most young people don't realize this but Opera blazed the trail for all mobile browsers! Over a decade before there was even an iPhone, there was Opera!! I had Opera Mini on my old HTC Windows phone back in 2009, in fact t it was the STANDARD browser even above the included Internet Explorer! Why? It was faster, better in every way, and offered downloading!

I'm uninstalling Opera after near 15 years because for reasons that are likely ad revenue-related, an obnoxiously loud and unsolicited ad spools up as soon as I start typing anything in the search bar, and turning on the ad blocker does nothing to remove it. A shame, as I've enjoyed using this browser for some time now, however, this is unacceptable, blatantly intrusive, and disruptive. Might consider a return if this is remedied.

in the last week it has become increasingly unusable. It is crashing immediately after opening the app almost constantly. After about 20+ attempts it will open and work for about 2 minutes before crashing again, unless you open the keyboard to type something which crashes the browser immediately. I have not changed anything in how I have been using the browser before now, no settings changes, the browser is up to date as is the phone.

update; I've used Opera for years but the latest update for Android is confusing and unbearable. Especially if you want to comment on the article, it seems to have lost the cross connectivity to the Facebook. I have no time or patience to mock about the extra settings that seem to be pretty well hidden as well. All I wanted is the ability to follow the news and comment, or reply to such. That's gone now, it seems. Good bye, Opera.

perfect experience. there are few bugs, and they were problems on my devices end. the built in VPN is amazing, I found it very useful. speeds are similar to chrome, and so are the search results, but as far as I can tell, there are less sponsored results which is a huge step up from chrome.
