Optimus

This is the first personal gps system that was easy to set up, user friendly, accurate and affordable. I purchased 6 different brands so far and by far this is the best one. Most other brands state that they need a clear line of sight with the sky to be accurate, otherwise the results may be inconclusive. Not the Optimus GPS. I've placed it under the hood, under my motorcycle and under the cab of my truck, all locations never failed to place the vehicle right where the map says. Not disappointed

Was great during the free trial and has been decent enough since. During the trial, it was never of by more than 5-10 feet. Now it is normal to be off by 15-50 feet. When the battery gets down to 10%, it will notify me every 30-60 seconds of a low battery until I turn off notifications or charge. That's a bit annoying. All in all quite functional.

I noticed that the time was off on my notifications, even though I'm in the same time zone as the tracker. I filled out the help form within the app, and Steven got back to me in less than 30 minutes, even though it was nearly 7pm. They had it resolved the next morning, and followed up with me to ensure everything was good on my end. I truly appreciate the attentiveness Steven and his team showed.

The Optimus Device is super easy to install. It's not a stick on device, and there is no monthly subscription fee like other devices, so it won't fall off. You can set a GEO Fence Boundaries and get notifications, review a detailed history of the track with or without satellite view, see total mileage, how long the vehicle is parked, and even click on the map and the specific address. History is available for 30 days, so I use screenshots to save data. This is the best GPS tracker and APP.

The Optimus Tracker is easy to use, provides real-time location updates, and alerts. The support team are responsive, friendly, easy to work with, and they actually care about your issues. The monthly price is the best I could find for all of the features I needed. I purchased the yearly subscription and saved even more. I highly recommend.

Great tracking/gps. love notifications I receive about power loss, signal loss, and motion detection. Had an issue once where it stopped working out of nowhere and they were very good about helping me get it replaced after doing dome diagnostics. I think the only con is sometimes notifications come late about movement. up to hour late according to time stamp. You can still check anytime to see where it's at. Fair priced subscription too.

Huge waist of money! This worked decent for all of a week at best. Now it doesnt work false readings or none at all. Unfortunately I bought the three month and let be tell you between cost of device and this membership I'm out a large amount with no where close to anything advertised. So if on Amazon dont buy this product definitely dont purchase the membership or app. Save your money try something else unfortunately I dont know what but there has to be anything better than this.

So far, this app and it's tracking capability has been exactly as I had hoped. Fortunately my trailer hasn't been stolen, but anytime I move it or load it up, Optimus has given me alerts. And I'm currently remodeling in an area I expected to have some curious eyes, so I'm glad it's given me notice whenever there's activity. I feel confident at this point that if the trailer disappears, it'll give me fair notice as to where it's located. I am very satisfied at this point.

I use on my classic car and very reliable. Really like the alerting feature. Never had a problem with using software. Although it's a bit large for a tracking unit, it's battery size and usage makes up for it. Would like to see it being magnetic, but I get most current vehicles may not have a place of steel to smack it against.

I thought it auto refreshes while live tracking a vehicle. So this feature should be enabled. Also, I can't name the tracker so if I have more than one I'll be in trouble if I can't remember what tracker is in what car. Also, when I open the car door I receive an alarm that the car has been moved, so it can't tell whether it was just turned on or if the car indeed has moved.

It's a great service and mostly reliable. The weather seems to interrupt the signal. I have no real complaints other than not understanding all the colors, symbols and signs. I've tried to research Optimus and these signs and symbols but have yet to find an explanations page. I recommend this product and service without hesitation.

The app takes FOREVER to reconnect to GPS, which makes the user experience of setting up geofences impossible unless you know have to visually find your exact location on the map when zoomed all the way out where your entire country is in view. It was way better in the past.

It is pretty good. some of the alerts could be a little more detailed. like it would be nice to know what the posted speed limit is versus what the vehicle was actually traveling and then maybe the amount that it was over speeding.... just an idea.

This is a decent GPS application but recently they've been double charging me or trying to double charge me and I ain't going out like that. I've been with them for at least 3 or 4 years and they won't let me slide on one day for their monthly subscription but then they're going to double charge me and not return my overpayment crazy

Works as intended. Took a couple hours to fully activate and start reporting. Geofence alerts were delayed for a day or two. But after everything settled out, it works really well. GPS updates about every 10 seconds, which is fine for my purposes.

I would give 5 stars, but I have been using these devices for years now and have always upgraded to the latest product. Now, with that being said I can say with confidence that the trackers do not respond as quickly as they used to. I do believe that the hardware is excellent, but the network being used may be the bottleneck. The staff is small and very polite. I have been in touch with the troubleshooting of the latency. It seems as this issue is going to be permanent until they upgrade carrier

I've been using the Optimus GV75 in the Phoenix AZ area. I'm impressed! It works exactly as described and more. I opted to activate it's additional features which sense ignition start and kill switch via the GV75 device. Also, setting up a few geo-fences is not only a snap, but activate within seconds. I found the device to be accurate within 2 to 15 feet! In the app, you can change the icon of your vehicle too! Reports are informative and alerts immediate. I'm told upgrades are also planned.

I just installed it and this app just rapid refreshes lagging my phone out. Typical GPS on phone works completely fine. I tried fighting the lag to swap to a lower refresh, but it didn't help anything. And the gps is sitting completely still, and hasn't moved a single mm since it was charging. So why is it constantly trying to refresh the map? Hands down the worst app and gps experience I've ever had, it's not even a competition.

Zero stars they did something with the app now nothing works it use to work Awesome now they updated service don't waste your money lasted almost 1year then optimus updated,app/service Stopped everything tracking trail oh an now they're is no way to contact optimus. Systems down nothing on maps/tracking 6,18,24 midnight all day zero tracking info speed,poor driving,etc. Money burnt.

I move my equipment all over the state... Optimus tells me when and where it is on the move with a text as it is being hitched up... current location and route is displayed... low battery warning lets me know if the connection to power is lost... an inexpensive must have security device when you leave equipment at the job site...
