Painnt - Pro Art Filters

Great amazing program. There is only one major flaw. We need the ability to save the medium output files in high resolution. The effects are almost always more desirable in the lower outputs than the higher or 4k outputs, but then we are stuck with low resolution images. Can we use the effects of the lower outputs and convert into a high resolution image to be able to actually use it to print on posters for example? Its a shame to see such nice effects that are too low quality to use as a print file.... your biggest competitor recently added this function I hope you all do as well....

Can't save anything... ...even after paying nearly $10 for a year's subscription! Whatever wonderful thing you create with this is as ephemeral as a dream. There is no way to save anything or to print it. I have been seriously ripped off! I gave them a few days to fix issue. Nothing! So, I am deleting this ripoff app. Of course, I have lost my $10. But I have learned a lesson that this Developer is a ripoff!

Excellent app to use free. I haven't paid for it, so I am always having to go back into pic somehow (I use built in Editor in Photos app) & crop out the watermark. The filters are quite good, very tweakable, and generally high quality. I'd suggest 2 things -- a flat purchase price <$5 and I might buy it, and also some way to preview the effect of a change w/o a render. (I have a PIxel XL, so maybe that's slowing me down?)

This is the best app I've found. It offers both free and paid memberships like most apps. The big difference is, and it's huge, is the free section is ranged far and wide. It's paid membership is affordable. It increases One's options to "farther and wider". The editing app is user friendly, and every style One works on is calibrated with very small increments. So, the possibilities are endless, and the end results can be truly the one doing the editing .

Absolutely stellar app. And twice I've messed up PAINNT helped in the quickest and kindest way possible. One suggestion, or more like a Wish. When trying a filter-love to see an area that allows for a user friendly way to isolate areas to filter. And/or a way to erase areas we don't want filtered or just dial down filter in areas. Or all 3.😜 I did see somewhere there is a way to select an individual area to filter but def not user friendly. But 5 stars all the way! ✨✨✨✨✨

So easy to use. Can create beautiful imagery. Some lovely surprises. Better than some 'free' specialised AI sites. The free filters are a mixture of great & not so great; you just need to play around. The 'painnt' label in the right, bottom corner is too visually intrusive. So your final edit may have to be cropped to remove it. I love using Painnt to manipulate my original scenic or still-life photographic image. So Enjoy! Create! Share!

The app is *mostly* very good, with plenty of effects. I would like to use the full Pro version, BUT!!!...it only offers a Subscription service, for weekly/monthly or yearly. Subscriptions are HUGE cons, 'cos you never really "own' the app, and it works out expensive in the long-run, but good for the devoper! ALL the apps I use are one-off LIFETIME Pro versions, and are the most economical and fairer, too. If this app offered a sensible one-off payment, I'd buy it. So, sadly, I'm uninstalling!!

Great selection of effects - though it seems you can't tell which are free until you try using each one. Reasonable subscription cost, though. BUT: each action takes a few seconds to process which is very wearying, is bad for productivity. Can't save to external SD, which for me is also close to a deal breaker. And tapping "☑️" doesn't save, you must tap again and then select save - so unintuitive! This lost me the first few images I worked on, and sooner or later I'll forget and lose another.

I have been subscribed to this for years. I am not subscribing again, however, because I find that no matter what l do, my photos look nothing like the ones which are shown as examples. I am an artist, by the way. I find other app, such as Prisma, make much better photos than this does. Horrible effects, most of them are, and far too strong.

Got robbed. Paid money for this app. About a week later it kicked me out, won't let me sign back in. Won't even let me make a new account. I Uninstalled and then re-installed in case it was just a bug. No luck. I was using one particular premium filter that I paid for and now I am locked out of it and cannot use it any more. No help, poor support. Buggy app.

One of the best apps of this type, love the fact that you can edit and change the filter good fun. however there are a few of the classic filters that aren't available anymore one in particular which I always look for and never find but apart from that thoroughly good app.

This is my 2nd year using painnt for creating great pictures. There is an INCREDIBLE amount of creative filters to use. It was a wonderful way to honor our family dogs that are no longer with us. It took me a while to find the app that l used to create stretched canvas prints the year before...but found "canvas on the cheap" ln 2023 it was easier to link the 2 apps together!.

Love my Mobile App, but when I had to pay another more expensive fee to use it on my laptop, was stupid, when I already had an account paid for, but also very annoying right now is I saved over 300 favorites on the windows version, and I had planned on using batch editing(that is why I wanted the windows version) anyways, I closed it on my laptop, next day opened it up and every single favorite is gone. But when i go back into save the favorites it says I already have them, but it says zero in favorites. Then all of a sudden it said I had 324 favorites, but not one of them are showing, when you click on see more, goes to categories and no favorites showing, so frustrated and confused, I emailed customer service and have not heard back. This is my business, this needs taken care of.

Crashes constantly, effects fail, regularly will act like I didn't input a photo after I have, won't store downloaded effects outside favorites list causing you to download them again every time you want to use them; and no effects uploaded by users can be saved to favorites. If you like one of those plan to scroll through hundreds to find the one you want to use, then wait for it to download, then there's 50/50 chance it'll fail and another 50/50 chance it won't load the photo you've chosen!

I wanted to try this app but I haven't found a way to actually save my edited photos or even view the result. It processes the photo, then takes me out of the filter and there seems to be no place where my photo is saved in the app or any way to download it to my phone. I don't know if I am missing something but I can't actually use this app.

Forgot this app existed, I've played with this since 2011, the effects were always the best, you might have to play with the settings though. Glad that it's still around and free after all these years. To make your own filter, you need to be subscribed, which is probably the most annoying, that and the watermark, but it's still free.

Overall I really like this app. Have just started using it again after a hiatus. Couple of issues. 1.App exits me out of photo while I'm trying different editing options. 2. App doesn't have a folder for my creations 3. when I save a creation, the name of the filter that I used is not saved in photo info. 4. Editing values used for smoothing, noise reduction, etc, are not saved either. Having a record of filter name and value data would be useful in recreating effects on photos.

DEVELOPERS: please work on the upper right section, and overlapping lines for 4k output sizes!! No matter what, the background color is quite different from the other 3, and is almost never a usable image as is. It's fine with detailed images, but 50% of the pieces I work with cannot be done at 4k because of this. Very disappointing for a paid membership. Aside from this problem, I absolutely love this app! You can upload your own effects, and the effects available with the membership are vast

This used to be my favorite App for years and years. Now you have to choose filter first, then import photo, preventing quickly trying several different looks. No longer has Oil painting, watercolor sections but groups everything into a singular category called Classic, with 500 filters. Typed in "impressionism" and got "No Results Found". Which is singular reason I paid $11 year to have. The Filters are great if you have time. Wish they would bring back the original, easy to use Painnt.

Best Art App Available... It's Free, easy to use, simple to learn and again, it's Free... Way better than any of the expensive high end apps... Amaze yourself, then amaze others with a huge variety of features, effects, filters and more... Got to have this app... You will not be disappointed... I love it and so will you...Check it out...
