Panda Video Compress & Convert

It's a good app it was much better before, now the number of ads increased, and the process slowed down specially if you use large option, another problem is that before there was no need to keep app on the top, you could upload the file and juat do your other stuff but now it's not possible, if you upload and just open another app to do something meanwhile. It will stop and back to the begging again which is frustrating. But the quality is perfect.

I have noticed that the ads do break the app. Patiently watched an ad and just as I press the Skip as I wasn't interested, It pulled me to another app. As i came back to the video compress ap, the ad was still playing. I press the skip button again and it did the same thing.. This time when I returned the skip button actually worked but I was left on a looping loading screen that wouldn't go away. ads are fine but they shouldn't be so aggressive to the point where they break the app.

Works great, but ads get annoying and intrusive. The price of freedom is ads, but every time I do anything, another ad pops up before I can finish. I don't mind ads, but one or two when I open the app, and maybe one every few minutes or something. Overall, this is a great app for compressing video. A simple app that does basic cut editing and compressing of video.

Used to be a great app. Sometimes it'll start compressing but if you leave the app unattended for too long then it'll start all the way at the very beginning again, so that's always been an issue. But now I'm uninstalling the app because the ads are too long and repetitive, but the real kicker is now it's limited to only 10 full-length videos for free, and after that, it's only 30-second or under videos that are free. Thought it was 10 full-length per day now, but nope. 10 total. Done with it.

5 stars: easy to use. I've had installed for years now, and compressed over 300 videos. Compressed video looks almost identical to original. Compression doesn't seem to diminish audio. This was the first video compression that I used, and it's been so good, that I haven't had the need to try any others. If all of my apps performed this well, I'd be a lot happier.

This app Was amazing, but now since update it's not working on my bigger files anymore. I really regret updating it, it shuts down and restarts over again when it's at 99%. The multiple compression also doesn't work, it's best to do it one at a time. It's a shame, it worked well before. I'll have to find another substitute for this, cause it's not working like it used to.

This is the app to get! Full of useful features, lots of options to fine-tune compression, can compress video in the background and notify upon completion. No mention of AI, and your data never leaves your device. Also has some handy photo tools. I especially appreciate the devs for being upfront about the cost of developing and maintaining an app; when you first open the app, you're presented several options- Free With Ads, monthly, yearly, or pay once to use it forever. Good job, devs!

So far, fantastic. and it is as heavy but still provides an honestly good product. I could have exported and used another free editing software on my computer, but I'll give it to this company. On point. Enough ads to generate a small annoyance with a free product. I'd rather pay for it by an as needed basis, but I could use this for a lot more if I could completely. control the outputs.

When I tell you this app is AMAZING, I mean it!!! I had a video assignment I had to turn in for school, however, the file was too big to upload/send to anything... I looked everywhere, and could not find anything to help me. This is the ONLY app that has worked for me!!!! You can change the file size to any custom space you want. It works astonishingly, and if you're looking to clean up some phone space, this is the app for you. :)

TL:DR Great app, ads are longer but it is fantastic and worth every free or paid penny. Download it. I've had zero problems with it. I've noticed the ads have increased in length for the free version, but I don't remember the app offering a lifetime. It's well worth the price they asking (39.99 at time of writing). Please keep your head above water, stay humble and stay good. Fantastic job overall. Don't forget your free users.

This app is a LIFE SAVER! I had a project for one of my final exams where I needed to send in a video that was less than a minute in length and less than 30MB. My video was 57 seconds long... AND 159MB! I didn't want to film again so I searched for a compressor and this was the first one that came up. Panda compressed my video from 159MB to 5MB! It still looks great! Couldn't tell much difference, and it was still in .mp4 format, so I didn't need to convert it back! Great app!

I love this app!!! It's been a huge help to me in reducing the size of my videos so I could share them with friends and save storage on my phone easier. I wish there was a way to keep the original data for like the date and time captured and stuff for the replacement compressed video, so that older videos I compress wouldn't have today's date on them. But other than that, everything about this app is great !!

I've been asked to rate this after compressing one short video. Works exactly as expected so far. I guess there's no way to tell in advance how big a video will be after compression to make an informed decision, but I like the options given to me. With only like two minutes in this app so far, I've only gotten small banner ads at the bottom. No full-screen ads is a plus for me. 👍🏻

Panda Rocks! This app has saved me so much memory! And I can't even tell the difference between the original and the compressed result! I had one issue one time with my account not logging in, so I was having ads, but when I messaged them about it, they answered right away and helped me figure it out... I hardly EVER pay extra to get the pro version, but I'm glad I did with this app. It's definitely worth it.

The app does a great job of compressing videos, but since I use the free version I am punished with long ads, and even ones that you cannot escape from. They hold you hostage and you have to close out all apps on your phone or restart. Then go back into panda and try to get your video saved. The stupid royal match game ad is the worst. And why would I want a mindless silly game that ? Ads are ok within reason.

The app is very user friendly. Depending on the device you are using and other factors , it can be either fast or slow. For example, t if your compressing a file on your PC and have alot of available memory and your not "overclocking" your CPU, then the process is quick and easy (even the free version)...but. if your using your cell and you have limited storage space and you are being "throttled" by your cell company because you use alot of data and your overclocking the CPU, it will slow down.

This app is perfect for compression, it's super fast and doesn't reduce the quality of your videos. It can make a 40 mb file go to 7 mb without fail or making it seem like the video is 10 times worse. It's also extremely convenient for what I wanted it for. The only concern I have is if this app can gain a feature to compress gifs, and if it can be updated again. Especially since it was last updated almost a year ago. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

a surprisingly good app for video compression, much better than the ones i tried before this (even if they are few). i was not expecting that my 450mb video could actually be compressed to 68mb and STILL retain it's quality. i assume it's because the app focuses more on increasing the IDR interval rather than reducing quality to shorten file sizes of videos, which is great. the panda asks me to leave a review after its job well done, which is something i don't do often, but this deserves it. 5/5

It does it's job. The Custom File Size function doesn't work well if the size you set is closer to 5 MB, though. I got some entire unusable video when I did that. Also, it would be nice to be able to fine-tune the output beyond just the settings they have. For example, when you click on 1920x1080, it should then give you an option to adjust set the frame rate (20, 24, 29.97, 30, 60, etc.) and video quality (very low, low, medium, high, very high). There's no current way to be specific.

Seems to work well and has the knobs I need , which are few . Made a video with an HD camera app on an Android phone and the compression was quite good. 95% or something, allowing me to email the resized video to a friend. I was impressed enough that I bought a 3-month trial, which was super cheap. Under two bucks. Score!
