Pango Parking

My apartment complex partnered with Pango. it's been horrible. I'm waiting on the registration for my new car and I have to pay to park. the app says $1 per hour. But they have been changing me almost $30 for 8 to 12 of parking. This is a scam! and no one will take my calls to figure out why the massive overcharge. I'll be glad once I don't have to use them.

Forgot to turn it off after half an our of parking and end up paying for 8 hours. The app does not offer remiders that the time is still running. Contacted customer service. After more than a week, they responded that they only collect the money as a middle person and can't give me refund. And if you want to have reminders or alerts that, eg, your car moved, you have to pay $3 a month on top of the fee the charge you ever time you use their service! Thank you City of Wilkes-Barre!

Decent, convenient, super annoying that it doesn't remind you to stop paying. It could have a sticky notification with a timer. There's a lot of simple things they can do, and did is obviously a money making app so they have the budget, but they just won't do it. Their fiduciary duty is to take as much money as possible, I guess trying to avoid scamming people goes against their best interests. Edit: they charge you extra to opt out of being scammed! It's called pango save. That's low.

I've been disappointed with the Pango app, and only use it as my town requires it. My biggest concern is the accessibility of the app. The text is small and hard to read, and it is very easy to select the wrong parking lot. This is partially because the sorting of the list changes. Also, there is no way to select a default vehicle. If you select the wrong vehicle and start your parking there is no way to fix your error. I have several unanswered emails to the developers about my concerns.

This is the worst parking app I have ever had the displeasure to use, not only is it glitchy and difficult to use, it forces you to load a payment method for any parking even if it is free for the first 2 hours. On top of that it doesn't show what the rate is if you go over the free allotted timeframe. If that's all not bad enough, if you don't remember to end your parking session when you leave I assume they will just continue to charge you as there is no option to set a specific time duration

This is such a terible app!!! Guys if you have to park in area where Pango controls the larking, better do not. Move your car 10 blocks away if neede, or you gonna lose a lot of money! You have to confirm many times that you stopped your session, than double check many more times as well!! Otherwise you will be charged maximum charge, what happend to me. For some unknown reasons app didn't want to stop my 30 min session and I just saw that was charged full daily amount! No customer service!!

I pulled into a lot and downloaded the app to pay for parking. I entered the zone number and had to add funds in order to proceed. It was only AFTER I added the funds and progressed to check out that the app informed me the lot was for monthly permit holders only. This should have been made clear as soon as I typed in the zone number, not after I made a payment to the company. Poor experience for a new customer.

as with all parking apps this one doesn't work either. I was unable to pay for parking and had to risk getting a parking ticket. I tried many times to add PayPal as a payment method but it didn't show up after I added it, so I couldn't pay. the interface is awkward and unintuitive and as I was unable to pay for parking this app is a complete failure. well done. keep up the sub par work. you deserve what you get.

Cannot fully use the app on my phone (Galaxy A72)- parking areas and menu changes do not appear (even though the menu headers do change), so I can't actually start a parking session. It's like an entire display layer is missing. If I log in on someone else's phone, I can start a session, then log back in on my phone to finish it, but that's not a viable long term workaround.

This is the worst parking company/app by a long shot. You have to load money or connect your bank in order to even see the rates, even if it ends up being 0. It is not intuitive and was glitching even just to get the payment method loaded. On top of that, you're still charged for them to hold your money. I had to pay $15 to find out the parking was free for the time I need it. You get charged a "processing fee" when requesting a refund for unused funds. Customer service is entirely unhelpful.

As much money as they make you'd think they'd have a usable app. The app doesn't allow you to add payment methods. I was able to add it on the website on my computer along with my vehicle info but I don't carry my laptop around with me when I park. Once I set all that up, I click pay to park on the app and wouldn't you know, nothing happens. I've played phone games with more optimization and usability. Long story short this app cost me 185 dollars when my car got towed because of the app.

The new feature "these parking zones are near you" only lists distant zones, but it forces me to choose one, so then I have to then change that choice from the full list of zones. Also, stop telling me which other cities use pango. Stop asking EVERY SINGLE TIME if I want notifications. Just get out of the way and let me park. If the city didn't require pango I'd never use it.

App is broken, everytime I click any of options or sub menus, nothing happens. You can see that the app knows you clicked it but you cant access the submenu. For example, when I press Pay, I see that the top changes to the title Pay but I'm still stuck on the map. Even in the settings i cant access any of the setting categories cause its stuck on the main page. This occurs for most of the app, so I cant even do the one thing this app is built for, pay to park. Broken app.

BEWARE of subscription popup while trying to pay for parking. (It has a monthly fee) The app will apparently only notify you that a meter is running out etc if you subscribe to the service which in my case costs more than the maximum charge on the meter. The cancellation has issues and they claim they can't refund if you mistakenly click on the pop up, which to me looked like a confirmation that I parked. It appears that one is MUCH better off paying the meter directly - bad app!

Im going to get a parking ticket cause this app sucks. I can't set up a payment method. Nothing happens when I click any of the options. Live Chat option is also BS as by the time someone gets back to me I'll be long gone from my parking spot. Get a change from a nearby shop. You'll have an easier time. I use many parking apps and this is the only one that does not work

I travel a lot and have used 5 or 6 different parking apps. Some are better than others but Pango is the only one I've used that didn't work at all. It wouldn't even let me add a form of payment and even i tried to contact their help desk I was told that it as probably a bad connection even though my screen wouldn't do anything at all. Not only will I not use this I can't even because it's broken.

Useless. Tried to shop in Hagerstown but changed our plans because the app won't let us pay. You can tap "pay to park" but then nothing else happens. Tried using the pay station, but it was down. I don't mind paying to park but you're delusional if you think I'm paying a 16% credit card surcharge and fighting with a non-functional app to support your downtown. I'm now actively avoiding towns and businesses that use Pango. Use any other solution.

Took 25 mins to finally get to paying for parking. If you need to change pages for whatever reason it reboots you to the start. If you use the "scan you cc" it reboots you to the start. If you take too long, it reboots you. Not to mention the "convinience" charge tacked on. This app sucks. I would fix it before charging people extra for using it.

This is a terrible app. I do home care & needed to use this app at a patient's home. It was not clear that one places a reserve of money in a Pango wallet before the payment goes thru to commence the parking time. I spent 15+ minutes trying to get the parking to start, as I had not realized the wallet reserve. It frustrates me & is wrong that Pango is keeping this money in holding. On the plus, you pay per minute, remember to stop at end. 5% fee for return of $, will just be 50 cents but wrong.

This must be the most convoluted, frustrating way to pay for parking I could imagine. Want to park in this spot? Better hope you have internet to download the app. Now the app wants your phone number (better hope your cell service is working too!) your email, your credit card number. Now figure out how to use the app. Oh look advertisements! After all this and you figure out how to locate your "zone" and pay for the spot, you're hit with a convenience charge! Absolutely ridiculous.
