Absolutely fantastic. Best Paris Subway traveling companion. I tried a bunch of them and this is the only one I ended up keeping. Whenever you go abroad, internet is one of travelers' biggest problems. Getting a roaming plan from home or buying a data plan in Europe can be expensive. Luckily, this app works 100% offline and made my stay in Paris enjoyable and comfortable! It's incredibly easy to use, has a clean user interface and makes getting around the city a piece of cake.
Downloaded this cause I knew the metro in paris was difficult to navigate from being there previously. Brilliant app, only used free version but if i had to pay for it i would. Best feature i would say allows you to enter your start location (place or station) then enter your destination, it then gives you clear and easy to follow instructions of what line to take, any change overs, tells you total no of stops, and approx time. Brilliant app. Top marks!
Almost gets the job done. This is an excellent app if you only plan to use the Metro/RER within Paris proper. I installed the app as it is promoted as the official RATP app. however, it does not include bus lines and any trains outside of Paris are incomplete. As a result connecting bus lines to trains could not be determined and because most of our time was spent outside the coverage area any sort of route planning was incomplete as the nearest RER stations were available in the app.
Pretty stupid and not UX-designed. Why? Because when you selected station FROM on the map you can NOT select a station TO on the map - only type and choose from the list. Tourists don't know the station names, but they know the area they plan to go. Why not let them choose station FROM and then station TO on the map? Look for MosMetro application - it's made much more correctly and UX-friendly.
i can't get beyond the intro screen where you chose paid or free version. the text at the bottom is cut off so there is no way to make a selection and actually use the app. i tried rotating the screen and i can't find a way to get beyond the intro screens. very disappointing and frustrating
This app was invaluable for navigating the Paris Metro during my recent visit. It clearly presented all of my route options and told me how many stops to my destination and/or connecting stations, plus estimated trip duration. A great app to have while in Paris! Be aware the app doesn't seem to be aware of emergent events. For instance, the 9 Line was closed one entire day for maintenance work but the app's route plan didn't take that into account. Still, a great app; 5 stars!
I came across this app when looking at transport options for my city break. It was free to use. The app was really useful in that it gave you the direction of travel. Which as you will find out in Paris it's very confusing especially at stops with multiple lines. Really useful highly recommend
Terrible! I am using the paid option for the than 25hs. Today is bank holiday and some lines are closed. The app does not have that update at all. Walking and wasting time with this. Refund please. Useless
Worst map I've ever used. You can't even look at the map without being bombarded by ads in 10 seconds. Turn off the internet to use this otherwise useless
I tried to use the free version, but there were so many obtrusive ads that I qhuckly gave up and switched to the official RATP app, with no ads.
Useful app. When planning your route, the results are basic and to the point. The ads can be annoying, but it's still a good app to help navigate the metro system for newcomers to the city!
Excellent app with all what required info simply provided & works offline. Came in very handy. Only improvement I see is in planned route, the map page to be able to move to see full metro map, currently only able to see the planned stations.
Was good in 2016, you could skip ads, now I am having to stop application and re-open it as there is no way to skip the ad.
This app is utterly worthless. Unless I'm totally screwing up, you can't do route planning by putting in the address of your destination. It appears you need to know the name of the stop you want. If I knew that, I wouldn't need the app.
I needed to plan my journey from Gare de Lyon and I was presented with a couple of options making my decision quick and easy. A very good app.
I tried 2 times to find our destination and both times the map sent me in the wrong direction. I went the opposite of the way I wanted to go.
Really helpful! You can use it even with no internet connection. Gives you detailed information about all stations and train lines.
This appabsolutely made my 9-day vacation in Paris posdible. Simple, accurate, and full of real-time information (a lifesaver; Metro lines will close for repairs on a whim.)
A must have app for navigating Paris, you can even plot routes and see the map offline! Would recommend for anyone travelling to Paris!
Full of adverts. No indications of platform, or other basic details other train apps have in less developed nations around the globe.
