Worse than ArriveCan! The most complex, confusing and hard to use parking app I ever used. Unfortunately that's what Niagara on the Lake has adopted. It's so bad that from now on I will arrive early and park in the free zones to avoid the hassle of this app, which inconsistently shows the time left. Slow, clunky and leaves you wondering if the payment worked or not.
This application doesn't deserve even 1 star. It crashes. It takes 10 times to load something. It is incredibly slow and by the time you manage to pay for the parking you would have 3 parking tickets issued. Absolutely terrible and a shame this represents City of Saskatoon.
Thank you for the recent update, it's a little easier to use. Switching from hourly to daily every day is still an annoying extra step but it's faster now.
Extend parking session doesn't work. I used to be able to pay for multiple blocks of parking time. Now I just got double charged for the same parking time block
This app used to be great. it would auto populate with my license plate and the last place I parked with "Do you want to park here again?" Since the last update it doesn't do that even when I'm signed in. my license plate is still saved but I have to do a separate step to select it now, and I have to search for the parking lot every time even though I park there daily.
let's just say you guys ruined this app. it was beautiful before. now everytime you go to extend or purchase new time it rolls to the max hrs allowed. then when you try to modify the time, it rolls right back to the max hours in the day. eventually gave up. if I get a ticket for parking I may have to send you guys the bill. sorry
it's an extremely frustrating app. I can't log into my account and I've requested a password reset. I receive the reset code but when I submit a new password I get a notification that the code isn't valid. I've tried 5 times over a couple days and even reinstalled the app. any suggestions? I can't seem to find a help request.
Well, the app used to work. It was cludgy, but at least it worked. But witu this newest update, it's completely broken. It will not work. I cannot use it at all. And as it was the only option to be able to pay to park downtown in my city, as I don't carry cash anymore because I have been relying on this app, I had to cancel my plans and so your broken app just cost a local business my business today.
2025 update: It is somehow worse with the new design. Before it at least functioned. A masterclass in bad UX design. Rather than simply entering a lot number and the time to park -- the single thing I want to do -- I am forced to confirm each piece of information I have ever given the app before I can confirm. It is less tedious to read the terms and conditions of a website. To add to that for some reason the app has no app icon once installed. How did that get missed?
the app worked just fine, then it was updated recently, now it is very unintuitive to use. I know what I'm trying to do with the app but this new version makes it harder to know that I've selected all the right options and how to select a full day pass and be able to tell if I've selected what I intended to select. I wonder what the developer was thinking when they made the changes. it feels like they did not engage a usability expert to review the changes.
the worst experience ever! THe new interface makes it difficult to see what exactly you are paying, misleading and I already overpaid multiple times since there is no clear information going over daily limit and so easily to go over by the new system and they will charge over what you intend. NO option to edit your daily pass whatsoever, we should have at least 5-10min window to edit if needs especially with this new stupid interface. I would give ZERO STARS
Believe what you read in the other reviews. This app does not work! It took a dozen attempts to pay for parking and then my payment timed out before I could get out of the huge line in the parking lot. The solution according to the parking authority? Pay again and come in person to their office for a refund! BUT the app wouldn't allow a second payment. I'm not sure what is more aggravating, the app, the terrible traffic control, or the shockingly bad customer service! Major 👎 and zero stars
Very sketchy. Seemed ok until I received a 175$ parking violation. Apparently the reservation I made was changed between me confirming the time on the app and making the payment. Also, I didn't have a parking violation on my vehicle when I returned so I didn't know about it until the letter arrived a month later. Go ahead and try to contact them by phone or email; all of their 4 different phone numbers drop the call immediately, and I haven't received any response via email. Park elsewhere.
kept crashing every time I tried selecting the parking id number. couldn't use the physical machine because it wasn't connecting to the system. no one was nearby to help. had to find a place with free wifi because the location had horrible network coverage. only then I was able to pay via website. overall the worst service I've ever tried using.
Compared to the Green P App, there is a lot of room for impovement by ParkedIn. The Apps use is not very intuitive. By trial & error you can finally achieve what you want to get done. The Hpass section has Little to No documentation. It can scan the Card & find the information but it doesn't SAVE the found info in the App???? You still have to carry the physical card because there is ALSO no way to make Hpass payments from the App. Poor reach to achieve Potential. Limitations should be LISTED.
Thought I had completed the process of paying for parking when the app sent me back to the home screen. No confirmation came, so I tried again a few minutes later. Same result and still no confirmation. Tried again, same result. Went to Chrome to search for help. Logged into Parkenid online in Chrome and tried again, that time it worked. Only problem was in the 20 minutes it took to pay for my parking I had already recieved a ticket!! Great first experience! The app is $#!t. UNINSTALL!
It's currently 4pm, I'm trying to reserve a spot in a parking lot for 5-6pm today. I input the start and end times and press OK, it shows 5-6pm for a second then switches to 7:10-7:30 pm. What is happening??
I agree with the other reviews that this is a predatory way to charge people parking tickets even after paying for extending the parking time on the app. Even after selecting the evening hours to extend parking time prior to expiry of current parking, the receipt that the app sends back shows incorrect time starting from 11 pm to the next morning. This gives them an excuse to issue an undisputable parking ticket.
Terrible user experience. Increments of 12 min to keep rates a multiple of $0.25, but then the city's convenience fee gets tacked on and breaks the pattern anyway. It's electronic payment - I care more about booking 15 minutes than I do paying by multiples of quarters. Then paying feels like I need to go through a half dozen confirmations. I'm not convinced the makers have used any of the 30 other parking apps that seem to work fine.
It's broken, again. July 2023 Broken again. Nov 2023 Oct 2025: the app worked ok until the last update and you managed to break it again. makes me login everytime. doesn't "remember me" nor prompt Google to save my password. do better.
