Horrific, if it could be zero, it would. You can tell that zero thought has been made in the design of this app. I was forced into using it to pay for parking in a particularly busy area and this app decided that I couldn't use the number 6 in my card number. At all. I was in a rush to park two cars, and it took me 15 minutes of messing around with this app before I finally gave up and used their equally terrible phone line. just horrific. Either do it well or don't do it.
Been unable to book using the app since the latest update. I've updated the app, logged back into my account and even restarted my phone. I can bring up the details of the car park I want to use but the 'pay now' button is greyed out. Please get this fixed. **UPDATE** I have an Android and have navigation buttons at the bottom of my screen. If you go to settings, display and navigation, turn the buttons off and you can turn pay for parking. The app still needs fixing to sort this
This app doesn't actually appear to work. I arrived in a local car park in Okehampton and realised I needed to download it as it's not the same app as used by all the other local ones. First time the app failed to download and I got an error message. I finally got it to download and find the carpark on the map for that then too not load properly. I couldn't select anything further. The app doesn't appear correctly on the screen, it overflows the top and bottom from what I can tell. I gave up.
no longer seems to work. any time I click on the car park I want to use, it no longer allows me to go further to make the booking. I have to ring through to complete the booking, which actually costs more than booking on the app. unfortunately I can't stop using the car park so will have to put up with it
It is so hard to pay the parking thru the app. i have to text them then call them to make payment. hopefully the app gets better soon.
app stopped working at the start of the year, removed and redownloaded ... no luck. reported to parkamony 2 weeks ago and still dosent work. its really frustrating as the car park i use regularly is a LOT more money via the pay machine
update in December has made app impossible to use as you can't select to pay the navigation buttons are covered by phones own navigation buttons
By far the worst parking app. Will not register cards and the contact help number is invalid.
Never works. Wasted a lot of time trying. Unable to use thier car parks so I'd advise go elsewhere.
Appalling. First, the security is shockingly poor: your password is sent in plain text. Second, car park signage indicates charges are based on ANPR so you'd reasonably think the app would tell you when you entered. No, the payment for the parking from the time I left, despite following the only on screen prompts. No prompts to check the details before payment. This is the only time I'll use the app & the last time I use the car park chain. Also: no privacy policy, so there's a red flag too.
Security is really bad as far as I can tell, my password was sent in plain text to my email address after registration - they did not even bother to hash it. So imagine how they deal with your paymemt info. The prices do not match the displayed tariff and is more expensive. Luckly when I needed to pay and display, there was another machine available further down the road. You have been warned.
I use this app every week on a Sunday and have done for a long time with no issues. However, in the last couple of months maybe, each time I try to pay it won't accept the payment from the car saved on the system and I have to re-insert the card details. This happens every week and has just happened now. The UI is straight forward and simple to use and if parkonomy was the only app of its type then my star rating would be a little higher. But there are better apps out there like RinGo.
after signing up for an account, they sent my password to me, I set it, why would they then it send it to me via unencrypted email! this also means they aren't storing my password encrypted and non reversible at their end which is a major security flaw. taking credit card transactions they are supposed to be pci dss compliant, so that clearly isn't happening either. this company needs fining immediately!
app is broken. can't make a payment since the latest update the option is greyed out, it just tells me where I am. yeah, I know where I am, that's why I'm trying to pay for parking.

The struggle to signup to the app is enormous. Signup feature was nowhere to be found and showed up accidentally. Even then, it didn't allow all 10 digits of my phone number and the signup button remained disabled. Suggest the developer to use AI to fix the code if it is that hard for you in this age
Emailed me the password I set, which is a HUGE red flag, indicates they store it insecurely which for a money-processing app is a big worry. Didn't seem to be possible to use PayPal despite logo appearing on website. Forms in app are difficult to use - unclear how/where to enter information and too easy to accidentally delete what you've entered for e.g. card details, plus clicking register after entering throws away your progress. Avoid if you can, and don't save your card details in this app.
Why do so many companies try to reinvent Ringgo and get it so wrong? I thought Mipermit was bad enough, but this looks to be an even worse effort from what I've seen so far. And also incorrectly flags my number plate as wrong - Its not my number plate, its your dodgy app. There are many parking apps out there to provide examples of how to do this properly - Justpark, paybyphone, ringgo. Also why unable to add card through website but can in app?
Simply does not work. I needed to park in a local car park because of my elderly mother. This car park has now decided to use this app rather than use cash or contactless, so I downloaded it over my data connection, got confirmation of registration, opened app and entered car details. Then the problem started: the add a card button does nothing, app doesn't accept gpay or PayPal. Just wasted half an hour and 14Mb of data simply trying to pay for parking. Now off to search for another car park.
