Wouldn't let me pay for parking because "license plate didn't match what was scanned at entry." Triple-checked plate even though I didn't need to because we had our plate info saved and had parked in the same lot before. There's no way to bypass this error, either. It just won't let you pay. Absolutely unacceptable to depend on this app and potentially get a ticket for its errors. EDIT: IT GOT WORSE. They retroactively started my session and charged me $75 for TWO DAYS of parking I didn't use.

first time parking in a big city and this made it so simple , avoided many questions and much anxiety. the lot was right across the St from the venue and we booked a spot weeks in advance. didn't need to check in or anything , we just parked and left. it was cheap and the time was even extended for free, past what we initially paid for (probably because we were leaving in the middle of the night). still, we went for a night in the city and this app made it super easy and convenient

WARNING!! DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!App not very helpful in trying to get any support. Cancelations & Refunds are painstakingly hard. I have tried the process twice within 2 days & waited 3 days with no response & resolutions of the issue. No call backs, no text reply backs. I have to call my credit card company to stop payments or to dispute charges if nothing gets resolved soon.

Bought tickets for parking in downtown Cleveland. Parking was advertised as across the street from the event location. I drove from Akron to the address shown in the app for the lot I was assigned and it was a 15-20 minute walk according to Google maps, in 20 degree weather in a snow storm! I happened to drive to the lot that was originally advertised and I was able to park for free but, this is unacceptable.

multiple times now. it tells me that time has expired and I need refresh. however, it doesn't let me refresh and even when I'm really quick and it's less than a few seconds, it says time has expired. at this point I don't believe that message and others have been able to go keystroke by keystroke with me and reserve the ticket. well I still get the error message that says time has expired

This is a bad app, if you ever need a parking space in NY, role the dices and take your changes getting one when you get there. I'd say you gonna better chances to get a parking than using this app. Also is good to take in consideration that not only i didn't get my booked parking when I get there, but they never refund me the money I paid in advance. this is a completely SCAM.

First couple times using it, it worked great! The last time I used it I purchased a spot on a lot that was available for a conference I was attending. When I got there and scanned the app the lot machine said my pass was "invalid." Luckily someone was working the lot and let me in since it was their lot, but I had to get a separate receipt in order to leave the lot.

The website lets you use Google or Apple pay, the app requires you use a card. But you can't actually type a card number in, you have to scan a card. Then it ran multiple simultaneous pre-authorization charges which tripped a fraud alert on my card. Then the map in the app says the lot is full and won't even let me select it. I spent 20 minutes dealing with the issues with the app. It's easier to just scan the QR code at the site and then pay with GPay.

Good news: it gave me a nearby parking garage to the venue with good rates. Bad news: after paying on the app, the barcode it gave wouldn't scan, the attendant didn't know anything about park whiz and couldn't find my preorder for a space, and I ended up paying a second time. Might just be the specific garage I went to, but that's the one closest to all the venues I go to, so that's a delete from me, dawg.

Sometimes, when you book, the parking lots are unavailable, and then it will be a hell of an experience to get a refund. We wasted 2 hours getting to the city, 1 hour simply driving around the blocks, ensuring the lot indeed closed, relocating to another location to find out it is closed too, spend money on gas and tolls, and lost our tickets due to us being unable to park in time. Parkwhiz only refunded for one occurence but not the other. Don't book through them. Rip off

Garbage!!! Paid online for parking and when we arrived, we were told that the lot was full. Was unable to find parking in time after being turned and had to cancel our plans after driving over an hour and paying tolls to get to Manhattan. Don't take our money if you can't reserve a spot for us!! Now we have to jump through hoops to get a refund. Find a different parking app!!!

Downloaded and booked my first reservation. Got to the garage and they were full and would not honor the reservation. Parked further down the block at another garage listed in the app, but couldn't get the reservation transferred. Walked past the first place and they were letting in cars. 🤬 The developer response is comedic. Customer service just ignored that I went to another one of their garages and wouldn't help resolve the cost disparity.

I got charged extra on site for a parking I booked through the app, and the next day I got an email from ParkWhiz that the parking providers shouldn't have charged me extra (which they really shouldn't have, I did not stay longer than what I reserved it for) and they issued me a credit, and that was even before I complained to them about it. In my opinion that's an example of great customer service, good job.

I bought parking tickets for an event weeks before the event at a good price. Went to the garage to redeem and they overbooked at a price of 8 x more and refused to honor my ticket costing me a lot more money and time to find another parking space. ParkWhiz refuses to help. I would never use this app again as they allow and are ok with scammers on their app. If you want to waste your time and end up paying a lot more then go ahead and use this app.

I was not able to park at the location selected. There was no parking attendant present, and the gate would not open. Customer service was of no help. I had to drive around for over an hour, trying to find parking. Was late to my event, missed half the show. Definitely won't be using parwhiz anymore. One and done! Oh, and their website says they do not offer refunds in case you can't find your reserved facility, nor if you opted to park elsewhere!!!

Update - they did end up issuing me a credit, which I appreciate. ___ After using this app for years, and spending hundreds of dollars through them, I had an issue with a parking pass last weekend - here's what I learned: 1. They don't have any phone customer support. 2. Their email support suggested that I rebook, at a higher rate, then just stopped responding. 3. There are apps with much better service available.

The advertised $5 promo rate did not apply when I booked. When contacted, the company gave me a $5 credit towards another booking but not as a discount, as advertised. To make it worse, the app charged $21.90 for a lot that had a drive-up rate of $12.00. When I contacted the company, they advised they charge for the "peace of mind of having a spot." I used this app because the venue instructed us to. Not for "peace of mind" on a completely EMPTY lot that I could have easily paid for in person.

Tried to book parking 1.5hrs before an event, but it kept saying "no times available". How is that possible when the event sets the times (and the app even confirmed this) and I was trying to book within those set times. So since the event picks the times, it also wouldn't let me change the time to see if I could book. This resulted in me having to pay an extra $15 to park when I got to the event. They need to fix this app

There was an error in the first transaction for parking (or so it said), and I did it again. Then I found two charges on my credit card. Like someone else I wrote an email with the ticket numbers asking for a refund on one. Got one email back then silence after multiple inquiries. I called them directly and am waiting for the refund. The app is part of the problem with no firm confirmation of a reservation. Ideally, if a reservation is successful it should send a text to your phone.

Was not given a shorter time option at a garage, booked anyway, was then unable to cancel the reservation and overpaid $50 more than necessary. With multiple contacts back and forth, ParkWhiz refused to accept responsibility, saying that they don't set the rates, which is true, but they also didn't offer accurate information. After I alerted them they promptly fixed then available options for the location, but in the end not the garage nor ParkWhiz would accept responsibility and make it right.
