Good app, not great! it's a nice app cos it does great things for pet owners but you can only add one photo, no video, you cannot zoom into photos and pet owners LITERALLY tend to post the WORST photos of their pets (WHYYYYY?????) it needs a lot of work if you ask me but I know in time it will likely improve. also, why do you use our ACTUAL email addresses when users contact you??? Also, you should be able to search for say, "a black & white long haired cat".
Ever since it updated, I haven't seen any pets, Lost or Found. If I go to the app, it says "No pets found". I can only see pets via a notification that click, but can't see any other ones. I do delivery all around town and used to check it daily so I see if I spotted any missing pets while I was out, but now I can't. I hope to see this resolved soon!
App doesn't work right. I'll get an alert notification on my phone "Buddy has gone missing near you" or whatever. I click on the notification and get shown a totally different animal that got lost 20 miles away and 9 months ago. Worthless. App should automatically sort in reverse chronological order and based on my current approximate location. I can't understand why it doesn't do this.
Wish I could get to my account. Each time I try to log in they say the password is not valid. There is no way to refresh, edit profile or an option for lost password. I did submit an email to my account and check THAT each time along with your site. Please fix. A good organization though. And keep up the good work reuniting pets to their families
So many pets being listed, must keep paying weekly for visibility of your lost pet. You can receive daily emails of Missing/Found pets - nice and can get exhausting as there's no opt to filter notifications you receive based on your search. Alot of fraud, on the app and your phone# changes everytime you click "contact owner" usually a disc'd phone#. When you contact they say, "we warned you about fraud". I've had 2 new credit cards due to this. No way to edit app listing, must email them.
Needs a way to sort by most recent posts. I'd like to keep up with viewing which pets have been posted, but sometimes the most recently added ones are all the way at the bottom. I don't want to scroll through the entire feed, so it'd be nice if I could sort them to see most recently missing pets on top of the feed
I want to give it a higher review since I think it's important that people have somewhere to turn for help from the community when a pet goes missing or is found. Unfortunately the app is buggy at best and practically useless at its worst. Filters don't seem to work and there is no way to sort results. Why would you want to see animals that were lost or found weeks or months ago before animals just posted? I always get 2 notifications rather than 1 and I have not found a way to fix this.

All in all, a wonderful service. There are some little things that would make it better, e.g., offer a free service for people who dont have money in their budget for a lost pet. Of course it would include fewer of services listed in the most inexpensive service. And it would make it easier to make chsnges in an individual's profile data, e.g., zip code. My cat is missing and i am using the service.
It looks like it could be a great app, but it very badly designed. How can I post a dog that I just found?!!! This app is very confusing, and continuesly takes me to a place where I can post a pet that is lost... For example try posting a second pet that you found, it is impossible. Also, only allows to upload jus one photo, and impossible to edit the posting if something needs to be changed. You definetelly need to improve it, and it does need a lot...
I've been trying to talk to someone from Paw Boast. I get an answering telling me to call an (1-855) number and I get the same exact meesage! It's very frustrating! I would like to talk to someone about the services I played for and didn't see any support for you guys...And to make matters worse. I was having problems making my account that I ended up with 2 accounts or atleast that's what it seemed to look like as I was making account. I emailed you guys through the process of this ordeal of.
Great App. Only problems I have is that it can be better. I wish I could do a search of dog type but that does not work. I found a purebred dog and these all look so similar it would really help if we can have more than one picture. I have to send out a small questionnaire to many different people because how similar they look, even obvious difference female or male. Please add features so you can prompt these questions and add more pictures. It is taking a lot longer to try to find his family.
Grateful to have this free service but I would really like to know which vet clinics and rescues are receiving the alerts so I don't waste time and resources delivering fliers and contacting the same places. It would also be extremely helpful to sort by date, species, color, and gender. Location is inaccurate, but if that can be fixed then please add the option to see pets within a radius. Facebook alerts cost extra.
Great app for lost & found animals but I'm rating it 4 stars because I believe there are a couple of improvements that need to be made. First, it would be very helpful if there was an icon to touch on the app, that would open your post and allow you to edit with updated information. Also it would save people scrolling time if the posts were listed in time order from when they were posted or updated.
Listed my cat, and you have to pay for any features that may actually help and those only last for so long then you have to pay again. But I get tons and tons of email notifications about missing and found dogs. It's good for maybe a 30 day "campaign" but past that your animal will be at the bottom of the list without paying regularly.
Grateful!!! I would've given a 5 star but I didn't feel valued when asked to pay to help find my missing baby. Although I do appreciate the poster generation, the option to spread it further; at that moment in time I was crushed looking high and low for him. I did receive GREAT advice from a couple of the people on his poster and that's what got him home so all in all THANK YOU!!!!
When I click on the filter to look at cats only, it gives me dogs to look at. App doesn't give the option of being able to find a pet by microchip number. The app does let you do flyers for free and that flyer is immediately posted to Facebook. App does not allow more than one pic to be posted. App doesn't show part of microchip #. Have to click on Facebook post to get full details of pet. Takes a lot of time when trying to match a pet lost w/found one.
Since the Dec 10 update, the notifications I get for a lost or found animal in the area will not open for that specific pet. Just goes to the entire list. Frustrating when you're trying to help someone and you have to scroll through so many others to find that specific one.
The application feels incomplete. There's no means to separate the type of animal to look at, the current categories don't change to meet the criteria, and one would think that the animals posted would be in some kind of chronological order, plus they are scattered through out the category.
The filter doesn't work! So if you're looking for your lost cat, you'll get all types of animals from all over. Useless time waster! Also their app isnt easy for navigation. Im trying to post an animal I found. It should he instantly obvious how to do that once you open the app. Its not.
Too many scammers here. This app is crawling with them. Don't fall for the Google voice verification request, y'all. I got three of those within 5 minutes from three different people claiming to have my dog. Don't let your guard down in your time of desperation. Do not click links! Do not send info! If they can't provide a photo of your pet to prove they have it, then they do NOT have it. #SCAM
