This is a great pay app to have if you can get it to work!! This app never opens there are several issues just trying to use the app. We have our hospital system on this for employees & we may need to find something else. To many complaints about never being able to use the feature. I myself have tried for over 2 weeks just to see; you literally will have to try 5 or more times to log in, uninstall, turn phone on & off and you might get lucky it will open. That's not good for business.

I am unable to add funds to my account from an external account. The button is locked, and when I reach out to customer service, they have no idea what I'm talking about. The only way to add money now is to pay a fee at one of the stores that will load funds. Edit 03/01/2024 they now removed the option to add funds, but that was why I opened the account. It's been 4 months since they removed it, and no updates have fixed it. Edit 10/11/2024 they added the button back, but it's unusable.

This app has so many issues. The process of logging in has been very frustrating. It fails to login 3 times out of 5. I called their support who told me to try via a browser, which also only sporadically works. It's only saving grace was early access to earned wage. Even this has become shady as they at one point appear to have decucted from my pay check an amout that was way more than I took in advance. I called their support, to no avail. 500 characters is not enough to deacribe their issues.

Don't use. I have tried to get funds early using my debit or my bank info and it doesnt do anything. No transfer is made. when contacting cust service, they don't know why and they cancel it(after waiting 2 weeks). So I get a card from them, and it's the same. no funds gets added and in a couple weeks, you can't see it in your profile. I contacted customer support again to fix it, 3 - 4 times, going on 6 months now, still have not fixed the 1 debit, so I ordered a 2nd, that one disappeared AGAIN

Absolutely awful. They never can catch up on my hours. Accessing my earnings is always an issue. The app is slow. Everything about this app is terrible. Just wanted to update and let everyone know that NOTHING has changed. customer service is terrible. The past few weeks, I have been unable to log in sometimes because it's stuck on loading. Day 7 of not being able to log in. They call about my reviews although I'm not sure why, they don't improve the app.

It took me two weeks of going through loops, and having a tech support member delete my account for me to finally be able to use their services. The app has very few options to allow you to handle your issues on your own, and have to use the in app chat feature, which the tech support has you logout of the app to try one of their fixes, just so you can sit in line waiting for a new chat support.

It's a great option to have access to. I enjoy that part of Payactiv. The app itself can be very problematic. The glitches when trying to use fingerprint log in are very annoying. The switch back and forth between accessible wages and tips and mileage each time I log in. I never know which one it will show. Even when I opt out of tips and mileage. That needs to be fixed. The hours worked, not showing accurately at times. I end up missing out on accessing those wages. 2.5 out of 5 stars for now

Terrible application! I wouldn't recommend this app to my worst enemy! What's the catch? I'll tell you what the catch is! Doesn't accurately record your earned wages for days at a time so that you end up having to take out smaller amounts rather than the whole amount for the wages you've earned. Each time you withdraw wages they charge you $1.99, so you end up paying out several service fees instead of just one fee. It's glitchy, inaccurate, a rip off & zero customer service. No Integrity!!!

Note that some of the issues I have are with the service and not the app. Took over a month after my date of employment to successfully create an account. In contrast, I was successfully able to create an account with another employer's advance pay service (Dailypay) in less than a week. Edit/Update 5/09/2021: Overall much more pleased with the service, in general. Although I find the app/website upgrade confusing, and doesn't add value. And I no longer see card transaction merchant info.

This is the worst app you could ever use probably! You can't log in at all! And no one helps you! They simply say a lot of users are experiencing issues with logging in and out team is working very hard on resolving the issue and we will contact you in 24-48 hours and no one has!!! after almost 2 weeks of the same thing I finally give up! DONT EVEN USE THIS THING ITS A WASTE OF TIME!!! 0!!!!

When it works, it is great. Unfortunately, the system tends to be down more than it actually works. Please fix your system. Based on the reviews, I am not the only one having reoccurring issues logging in and/or accessing my available funds. 09/14/23 Still can't access my available funds. Notified Payactiv initially 08/24/2023. Customer service reports it is a technical issue and they don't know what it is or when it will be fixed. Requested assistance twice so far with no resolution of issue.

It always makes it hard for you to take out an advance. The app crashes right when you finalize the advance and then you can't do it again once it kicks you out. You will be unable to take out money until it unfreezes, which could be minutes or hours depending on how it feels. Once I am able to avoid this app, I will. It has way too many bugs, and when you need money the most is when it wants to crash. Can't wait until I can delete this B.S App.

This app has only gotten worse over time! When I was first introduced to this app, I loved it! It was convenient and helpful when I needed something extra. But ever since this last update, it's gone downhill so fast! It takes me multiple times just to log in and even when I'm successful it still takes me EVEN more times just to access my earned wages and that's IF it'll even let me. I have to keep logging out then back in and still I'm unsuccessful! Whoever is running this app, DO BETTER!

This app had worked fine for me for the longest time. Now every time I try to log in it shows me something that has nothing to do with my information. I have to exit and log back in multiple times to try to get it to work right. Hopefully they can get this back in proper working order. Edit: I have talked to customer support. Gave them that exact same info you listed and all I was told is that "The app is experiencing issues and you guys were working on it " I imagine I'd be told the same thing.

I find this app really useful, but there's some features that never seem to work. I still love it, and use it fairly often. But, for the last month, or so, my hours have stopped logging, and I'm no longer able to pull any earned wages off. (Edit) it's now been over a month, and still no word back, even after emailing, and trying to reach to reach support through the app.

At the end of the day, it gets you what you need. It's seriously buggy though. Start up lags, and sometimes gets stuck on a blank screen. It's only after a few minutes or force close/reopens, that it works. Even switching from each section/tab can freeze the app. This app could be great, but it lags hard. Here's a Pro: It allows you to login by way of ADP.

A good service, in theory. Their customer support system leaves much to be desired. I've reached out multiple times for the same issue. Every time all I get is "hang on" and then a disconnect 5 minutes later, or the app timing out. If it times out, you can't go back to your old chat with support, but have to start a new one. With the same results. I would much rather at *least* have the option to contact via email so there will be a chain to refer to. My issue is still unresolved.

First time seeing it, last time using it. In fact I wasn't even able to set up an account, I followed the method where it's sends you a confirmation link and after I clicked on it, I got no where but, the fact that it kept saying error and that the link was basically useless. Very poor quality of an app. Very disappointed, but, I had a feeling it was gonna cause me hassle to begin with.

They do not update your account to reflect repayment. This happens every pay period. I send an email with my paystub, make multiple phone calls, wait on hold only to get a voicemail and never get a return call. Chat doesn't work either. Emails go unanswered. They claim they'll reach out but don't. It is impossible to get an issue resolved any sooner than a week later. Unbelievably frustrating.

Seems sketchy. The app won't tell me my wages earned, but it will calculate what I've taken out plus the transfer fees. When payday rolls around, it'll say so much was taken out, but takes out more than what I am supposed to have owed them. Seems like multiple fees set in place with no transparency, only tell you about the initial $2.99 fee. I'll have to continue using the app because there's no way for me to make my payments now. This app forces you into a cycle, so you have to keep using it.
