Paychex Flex

It won't remember the device, so you'll have to receive a text message almost every time to log in. There's a bunch of problems where sometimes it just won't let you log in or clock in or out sometimes, usually just in. I don't think there's been a full week where this app had no issues. I've used this for 2 different jobs, and had the same problems. These problems have been happening for at least 3-4 years with no fix.... This happens to all my coworkers, even my managers.

I waited 30 mins just to get a representative to tell me to clear the cashe on the app. I have no idea what that is plus I just downloaded the app. I told the representative this and he left the conversation. I waited almost another 30 mins for help and finally gave up. this is horrible service when it comes to people's checks and tax forms. very very disappointed. if there was a negative star I would put that.

This is the biggest garbage app I've ever seen every time I go to use it. And it always tells me some stupid error message about having technical error come back later. Every single time. and then when you actually call somebody no one answers. How typical? And then it tells you to leave a message, but it tells you voicemail is full. So you can't even leave a message with nobody to call back paychecks in general doesn't really seem care if they help you or not. they just want there money

Incredibly annoying and slow. Not user friendly at all. It takes too many steps to log into app, verify yourself, then hit clock in and then verify your clock in. Ridiculous. Also, I find it helpful to know who is on shift with you and you can but it seems like a lot of steps to get there. Previous app we used we could see everyone who was scheduled, it helped plan the shift or if someone is out we could get coverage quicker. Even if you yourself weren't scheduled you could see who was out

The worst app ever, compared to other bank apps, Paychex is a childish app, sends you random text messages every time you log in, if you use it to track the daily time, guess how annoying it is. Navigation is poor, hitting back will log you out, really? And you cannot navigate between days, instead you have to go back and forth. Whoever approved this app is not using it at all.

I'm only giving this one star because there's no option to give it zero. it's the slowest app ever and sometimes just refuses to log in. and when I do, it takes several minutes and then often does not save my "clock-in" at all. oh, and if I work overtime, it reads "error" and I have to contact our admin to fix it. I work a lot of overtime so this happens to me so often that my admin thinks I'm an idiot and I don't know how to use the app. it's embarrassing... less for me and more for the app. 👎

annoyed with all of it. it makes absolutely no sense to put the user name in then go to a different page to add the password in. then I have to verify the same device I have been using for almost 3 years every time I have to log in even though I select REMEMBER THIS DEVICE. but nope thats a waste of time. I have been using this app since March of 2021 and it continues to get worse, more difficult to log in and wastes more time than anything. it took me almost 30 minutes to log in today 😤🤬

This might be the most annoying, unusable app out there. It constantly has to text you for verification to let you sign in. Sometimes 5-6 times in a row... At what point does it just know that it's me... It's the same device, the same everything. Also, it's super slow to load. Literally if your company has you use this to clock in, expect to need to sign in a couple minutes early because it will absolutely take that long for the app to load. This app needs to be simplified. It's a total mess.

It's awful. You may think this is a better solution to everyone standing around a single computer, but you will wish for those days again. With this app, long gone are the days of quickly clocking in and getting to it. Now, you get to experience things like multiple verification codes, random lockouts of your account, issues clocking in, awful support, and incorrect time keeping. Seriously, how did I punch in 12 hours in a 4 1/2 hour time frame?! That is this app's one job, and it can't do it!

This app worked for the longest time and then it stopped working. The developer screwed it up I think by making it only usable by the newest I-phone user who have retinal scanning to unlock the program. So stupid to isolate 50% of the market who have older Android phones. At least I can still access my account on my computer. UPDATE: I bought a brand new phone and the app still won't work. Very annoyed that their app won't work on a brand new phone. Don't download - don't use !!!

I've probably never given 1 star on anything in my life, but this app makes you go through an insane login process every single time it closes for even 5 seconds. After having to do it a few times just to get some numbers, it crashed twice and started me at the beginning. I bought this galaxy new yesterday. My work needs to find a more efficient app, because I can't do it.

I liked the app a lot until recently, when a cookies notice is covering almost all of login boxes. I type my password anyway, but I can't see that I'm typing. Then I hit a part of the submit box, the only part that I can see. Once it logs me in, it's fine. But what is the deal with the cookies add that won't go away? I can't scroll down to accept or do anything else with it. Every single time I open the app now, that cookies notice is there over top all the sign-in boxes. Please fix this!

This app is constantly deleting my saved login info. I have had to re-setup my credentials on the app no less than 5 times in the past month. It takes FOREVER for the actual clock-in button to appear. I have legitimately lost work time because the button will not load. There have been times it was so slow that I had time to find an empty work computer, log in to it, log in to the paychex website, and use that clock in and the app still won't have loaded.

Couldn't sign up because it's asking for an invite, contacted the customer support in the app, got clueless customer support who just said to go make an account, when I explained I couldn't they asked for the last 4 of my social security number, I asked why they needed it and they said they couldn't help without it so I gave it and they told me to sign up again! When I asked for a supervisor, the agent said he didn't have access and ended the conversation. Absolute trash customer support.

Newest update absolutely sucks. It makes this app completely unusable! Not able to login at all and just keep getting a "connection error" even though I can connect to literally every other app. Completely useless if it can't even be opened. Also, I love how this latest update was supposed to be "minor enhancements" and all they did was make this app completely unusable. Good job guys.

Should of stayed with Paychex Time. With the last update it wants codes to be entered to be able to punch in or out. I put the code they sent in and the app froze. Tried again. They sent a new code. I put it in and app froze up again. Then I get an email saying my account is locked because of too many attempts. If the app would work I would not have to try more than once. It let me punch in but not out. Tried calling the tech support number. Totally worthless.

I keep getting a "request header too long" error when I try to use the time and attendance tab. The only "fix" I've been offered is to uninstall and then reinstall, which then requires me to go through logging in and seeing up my fingerprint again so I can use the app quickly. If fixed, I'd give it a rather higher ranking, but until it is, it's hard to respect an app that was written poorly enough to be able to screw up when interacting with its own company's servers.

Application is frustrating. You're required to have to pay for a text message every single time you access the app (not just clocking in and out- EVERY time you OPEN the app), using your back button on an android phone logs you out instead of just going... well, back. The application also has a hard error if you do anything the same minute as another action. Like if you clock in from lunch then clock out for the day, itll error and require you contact an administrator. Ignoring the login issues.

I struggle with this app every day. It's slow and never remembers my device. This usually causes me to be counted in at a few minutes later than intended as I jump through hoops for verification and wait. And clock in location is horrible. I once clocked in next to my manager and she showed me how it thought I was clocking in at the gas station a mile down the road on her end.

Awful app. If you change WiFi it will make you do verification again even if you tell it not to. Sometimes even if you don't change WiFi. It can take minutes to load and struggles if you do anything other than clock in and out. And now when I log in it says to update but when I click "update now" (the only option) it takes me here where I can uninstall (if work didn't force me to use it I'd never use it) or open. Which uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't update it. Useless. update: it's worse
