Pencil Photo Sketch : Drawing

This is probably the best sketch app that I have come across. It's very easy to use, there are many style choices to choose - from different styles of pencil sketches to crayons to colored pencils to watercolors to cartoon, etc. Each style has a slider bar that allows you to fine-tune the amount of the style you apply. The app also includes Filter and Editor functions. I like this app so much that I paid for the version without ads, which was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this.

There are lots of different options to change your pictures into drawings or color art! There are ads and if you want to save your picture in HD you need to pay with credits, but the free option looks just fine to me. For a free app, I can't complain. I just gave 4 stars because of the ads and charges (only if you choose to pay, NOT required!) I'd definitely recommend this.

I tried a picture of a pet and human to see the different effects. I wanted a coloring book effect. I like the fact that the App is easy to use and select the different filters that's close to the sketch effects that you like. The sketches look great and seems to capture the images well. You can see what the sketch looks like before you actually save it. What's also great is that credits are not involved, no pressured sign ups, and no penalizing for trying different images.

upload photo from gallery and it won't let me past the purchase a plan page. I purchased the monthly subscription and cannot do anything with the app. I'm trying to cancel with no luck, do not download this app

You still get ads even when I paid for the lifetime subscription.

why did I get the logo of this app while saving the picture? it ruined multiple pictures and collage i created! JUST REMOVE IT.

Very easy to use,great effects,alot of fun and you end up with cool looking pictures. tried all effects out on a variety of photos, some are better on certain pics, some are better on others,always find something that looks good.cheers.,mix different effects and filters on top of each other for some awesome unreal pictures...get it to where you like it,save it,then try more onto again, saving it when you like it is key,.try out editor different intensity makes a vast difference most of the time.

Nice for a quick photo pencilling with predefined filters, it gives you option to further edit the image. But if you want to change a photo, you have to start it from the scratch. If you do a crop of an image, process it and want to save it in any other resolution, it brings up entire image discarding the cropped selection. Technicslly it may impose some restrictions so this is just remark for folks who may expect something more from that additional add-on. Prompting for rating all the the time.

Just had a blast with my first photo. it is of my dog on a big pile of snow. Lots of things to choose from to edit your photo. I definitely would recommend that anyone download and use this App. pencil photo sketch far exceeded my expectations. It is more than just photo sketches. Water color, chalk, etc.

Keeps crashing!!! Even after uninstalling and installing back ... loved this app helped with lot of my work but its just not working now! Annoying amount of ads , I bet thats crashing the app! Gonna have to find another app , what took me 2 minutes to sort before takes up 30 min of my time now. WHY change things if they were working perfectly?Very disappointing.

This program if used wisely will expand your visual horizons - IMO it would probably be most useful to those who are already photographers, or at least have some knowledge of photographic techniques, and principles - as it does include quite a bit of filters, effects and the like. I love some of the options, it's more than just a pencil sketch. the water color effect is great. This works on close up and landscapes. It also works with low resolution images as well. it always shows an ad before you start, sometimes it's difficult to find the x to get the ad to go away.

The app itself is WONDERFUL. I have a S8 Samsung and have been looking for photo editing software/app that included pencil sketch. My last phone's photo editor had one included, but this one did not. My ONLY complaint is that the ads are invasive and too frequent. I have been interrupted, no-less-than 4 times on the same editing job and I'm still not finished. Get rid of the ads and it's a 5 star app.

Pro: Lots of effect options, that's great. But that's kinda it. Cons: Has an Ad after pretty much every click. Takes 2-5 seconds to "apply" what is otherwise an instantaneous effect. Also it degraded the resolution of the photo and I need to "unlock" higher resolutions with a purchase. Ultimately I found another app that has fewer ads, instant effect application and hasn't degraded my res. It earns a solid two stars for not being completely useless.

Having fun with it, very easy to use and can even open in your Android's phone "Drawing/memo app", after editing in the Pencil Photo app save it to your Gallery and then open your Gallery and take a screen shot of the picture you just edited, NOTE: (you might want to crop it and or use your phones camera editing features first) then after your happy with it take the screen shot of it which will now open in your drawing/memo app, on your smart phone and let your imagination run wild. Have fun!

Only just installed this app but it's one of the best I have ever used! The sketches are natural and varied. The UI is perfect and quite easy to use. The colours are just right, not overwhelming and really kind to the eyes (S8) I commend the developers and administrators. I hope it stays good! Thanks.

Very cool app that let's you customize photos quickly and easily. I'm glad I got it, it has been very fun playing around with all the different effects but the best part is being able to take really important photos of friends and family and create sketch/pastel/chalk versions that look like they were done by hand. Awesome app!

I use it to convert pictures i take into images that I can transform into a wood scroll pattern. It turns a recognizable view into a "permanent " wooden plaque. The process is to use a scroll saw and a good wood blank, often a fine grade of plywood. This sketch program makes it much easier to find those parts of an image to highlight in the art.

Looks awesome so downloaded, opened. Asked permission to take photos and video, no. Asked to access photos on my device, allowed - but it showed a bubble, access denied. No, I did not deny access to photos. Uninstalled, maybe I accidentally hit deny twice. Reinstalled, same thing. Not going to give free access except very specifically. Uninstalled, regretful it was a pain after looking so cool :(
