Phoenix - Fast & Safe

This browser is nice & speedy. Would be nice if I there was a toggle switch to remove 'most visited' from the homepage. The ability to add a background image to the homepage would also be nice. Maybe even a drop down menu in the search bar to quickly switch between search engines. Also, needs a remeber selection box, to avoid having to keep clicking download every time you save some thing. Even without those features, I still like this browser.

About the 2nd to last update this browser has an annoying bug where it puts up a small colored icon with the site's URL as the page loads, BUT instead of going away this icon sits in the middle of the page and pulses like a heartbeat. It can't be moved, you can't interact with it. You can browse the page in a normal way otherwise, except this annoying, pulsing icon. Clearing the cache doesn't help, nor does a reboot. My device is a galaxy note 3, but other browsers don't have this problem. So?

It's almost there. Unlike Firefox, Chrome, or Brave it has simple back and forward navigation buttons in the address bar. Like a browser should. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent the address bar from auto-hiding. It's also not possible to set the browser to always ask for a download location, but that is less of an issue. Make it so I can keep the address bar on the screen and I'll use nothing else. Otherwise the search is still on for a simple browser with simple navigation.

It asked for access to storage for downloading files. Sure. But then suddenly, it had access to all of my files and storage information, and it took over cleaning up leftovers when I was uninstalling some things in a completely different app. That's way too much access for a web browser to have, especially when I did not consent to that level of permissions. My mistake I guess for thinking that the built-in file manager was only for files that were downloaded in the Phoenix browser.

Its functions are pretty awesome but the glitches are annoying as hell. Every other time I try to open a page, it says "Down For Maintenance 429" and it won't load the page for some indeterminate amount of time, then randomly decides it's no longer under maintenance and works for a few more minutes. ALSO, saved tabs just randomly vanish in chunks when you open the app sometimes which is incredibly irritating. Otherwise, it's honestly a pretty cool browser.

Ads in Bowser. I thought it was a good alternative at first and even made it my default. 3 times that in exited the browser and did something else, as soon as I reopened Phoenix, I was met with full screen advertisements that I had to wait 5 seconds for. The annoying kind with the hard to touch "X" in the top right corner. Way too many other options out there to settle for that. Uninstalled.

When you press the back button on a web page, it looks exactly like it did previously. i.e. if you sorted products then began viewing them one by one, each time you go back, they are still sorted. Most other browsers don't do that; they revert back to the original sorting. Just dropped a star; too many ads now. Wish I could pay for no ads. Just went to 1 star; it's completely deleting the page I was just on.

Phenomenal! So far this is the best data-saving browser. The other one that I also liked was the UC Browser. Brave & Opera didn't save my data usage. They actually used a lot more than I wanted them to. So I ditched them. I checked my phone's data usage and compared the Phoenix Browser to the other browsers I mentioned previously. Guess what? This one performed the best! (Update): Turns out this isn't the best low data browser. It excels in all areas except the actual data-saving.

Not bad but to many and frustrating adds. each time you open it there's an ad, You can't log in to any website that sends a confirmation code to your email because the moment you minimise it to open you email, the moment you come back and boom 💥 there's an add and you have to wait for it and after the add. your page has been refreshed. you have to start the login process again. so as for me. nah, I won't recommend. the developers need to work on that.

Hello Phoenix App Team, I am writing as a dedicated daily user who relies on your app for both music and news. Recent upgrades are top-notch!🤯 Sound quality and the new interface are fantastic. There's just one bug: when I change the playback speed, the vocals and beat don't sync, creating an echo. Fixing this would make the app perfect!

I'm a long time user of this Phoenix app and just experienced an unpleasant experience of my Playlists disappearing after updating the app. All my 1000 plus songs, painstakingly compartmentalized over dedicated years, in appropriate Playlists according to their genres wiped out after an update! Can you please redeem my situation pls!

Sometimes one gets prepared to write, however your orders or demands are sometimes of no option, Phoenix app, has been very strong and reliable, meeting the test of customers entertainment, view, news and other shows, internationally and in-land, It is rating amongst one of the best, my very pleasure to associate with them, your endeavors and hard work, are of great recognition for the elites, you keep it. Just to let you know that their will not be any permissions for the Breaking down browser app.. Notifications are blocked off. And they're being watched for this browser app only. Plus this app doesn't have an account with me either. Due to the failures it has been putting out. I just people don't use this app because all of your files are being looked into this is the only browser app that is doing it. All other browsers are okay! Except for the unknown browser apps.. Malware in them.

Pretty good app, especially the way i can download audio and video really easily with the shortcut. But i have a problem that needs fixing. whenever i open the app, it shows me continuous AI slop garbage on my homescreen and i cant remove the "short video" section from appearing in my homescreen. Please remove all short videos from appearing in the homescreen and keep them the short videos section. Thank you for reading.

Hi there, i have installed this Phoenix Browsing app couple of times and deleted it, my frustration frustration is that i can't can't can't get the news feed in English language that i understand rather it always appears in French, i have changed changed every setting on the app from French to English yet i can't get the news feed in English why? if i can't find a solution i will delete it for the last time.

The PDF reading section is terrible. I've been using the PDF section to read books for years now, and it's been great, until months ago. Suddenly, the reading section cut off half the side of a page. I literally can't read books in full screen now.

i really love this app and is very nice,but I have a little problem with it. when I use it for some time and I left the app, only for me to re-enter the app Everything will swipe totally as if nothing is inside.all my music, documents and so on will just disappear. untill when it feel like showing up. please and please guys this issue should be dealt with immediate effect.

This app is the best 🍀 app I've used for opening word docs, 📃 documents, PDFs,EXEL, and PP On the other hand, this app is also engaging because it has amazing games 🎯💯 that are 🆓 and as a student I love it cuz I don't need to install other apps just to open word or pdf documents 📄 the ads are a bit annoying 😔 but overall it's a nice all in one app For those people who are reading this before installing this app make sure to install this app cuz this app is promising 10/10 ⭐ from me

Trash its full of thirst traps every time everywhere and the fact that you cant un install it makes it even worse I love using chrome atleast there is no betting or thirst traps every where you literally have women twerking or doing silly things and I can't see how its uploaded unless you yourself have some mechanism that selects and uploads them i have tried uninstalling it but still it reappears WHY THE HELL AM I FORCED TO HAVE IT ITS TRASH

it's a great app first of all in terms of music, like why the hell should you see your reshuffling music that's lame and secondly while using the app for browsing all of a sudden a 429 will pop up and say too many requests like common it's irritating
