Photo Duplicate Cleaner App

Doesn't work on my Pixel 8 Pro. after selecting the duplicate photos, the cleanup gets stuck at 0% for several minutes. When going back to the app to check for progress, it just shows a pop-up ad, and the progress is zero every time.

Great cleaner but you need other apps. EDIT. I'm not sure how to message you so I will just say it publically: The junk cleaner doesn't work at all, or it barely removes anything. other apps actually dig deep and clean cache and junk. new Edit! The video compresser sucks!! DO NOT USE IT!! other than that it's great!

Absolute junk. Doesn't work Doesn't run in the background. Set a side a lot of time & don't touch your phone. I started & a notification popped up or i grab the phone to do look at real quick and it stopped the scan. Maybe the 15th time will be the charm. Have to start over with picking your language every time. Takes forever to scan. Still haven't got it to do a completed scan yet. Not impressed

This app performs it's job very well and I highly recommend it. You can choose to scan all media types (e.g photos, videos...) or limit to only one or several types. There is an ignore folders function to prevent scanning in certain folders, this helps speed up your scan. After the scan is complete, there is a very convenient interface which groups the duplicate items found and allows you to select the ones you wish to delete.

I first used it to compress photos without losing much quality, and it worked well. I later reinstalled it to do it to compress new photos, but it messed up the order of the files. The worst part is I tried video compression, but it messed up all the video files. Audio, NO LONGER WORKS!!! ("Can't play audio. Audio codec not supported" even though it originally worked!). I would not recommend video compression as it also makes it quite grainy. Now when I try to recover it seems they are croupted

Even when I select some pictures and click delete, it doesn't delete everything I've selected, it deselects them as I scroll. And about the file location, just with images and videos, I need to click on each picture to see the full location, why can't I view them in detailed lists to see their locations without having to click on each one of them. The overall system is better than the other apps but these bugs are giving bad experience. I'd also love to be able to select a single folder.

ads are not too many, not too few. Photo and Video dupe finder is superb. App would've been perfect if photo/video compressor is sorted by size (largest- smallest) and the ignore list of folders are sorted by name (symbols like dot, then A-Z). Add these and I'll update my ratings to 5 stars.

Real easy to use and removed all the thousands of duplicates I had been collecting over the years. Thank goodness. My only problem was that I have tremors bad, and on those bad days I was either double tapping, or bumping into the line tracker, on the side. So there was a bit of moving about, or starting over till I got them all. But it not only helped me find all the duplicates and get rid of them, but I also managed to get rid of those I no longer wanted at all. Thank you!

Really fast and precise... But the feature that would make this a 5 star app doesnt work properly. Or i just dont understand how it works. The folder ignore list. I have all the folders i want it to ignore in there but its still scanning files from them. Which makes it really difficult to find the dupicates i cant on my own.

Can't See A Single Duplicate Image which is ironic because I have installed it because I have many duplicate images

Every time I open the app it asked me to select language then it would go to permissions after that I was totally lost and couldn't figure out how to work the stupid thing I closed it numerous times and it was doing the same thing over and over again so I deleted it going to look for something else

sorry but the force ads is too much, even just one click on anything the ads always appear. i know you need ads to keep this app become free, but you the amount of ads is horrendous

I was unable to use this app because adverts kept taking over the screen. When I waited for the adverts to stop, the buttons were labelled with names containing unnecessary apostrophes, eg. Duplicate's and Photo's instead of Duplicates and Photos. In short, this app is too annoying to be of any use.

I was impressed the first time I used this app. It's simple and scans and cleans practically everything on a device. The apps appearance does leave something to be desired, but don't be fooled by it's look. What it does do as far as I can tell is work, simply and effectively. I wasn't prepared for how little time it took to clean my device and made me aware of duplicate data and images. I was definitely impressed. Simple, efficient,and effective. This app appears to be too good to be true!

This is one of the most useless app I have come across. It has more ad breaks than features. Out of 800 + images where I know there are more than 25 exact duplicate images, it found only 2 and showed 2 ads. Infact on first start, it first showed me an ad before it showed me the UI.

I'm gonna tell you right now that everyone praising this app must've been paid to do it. Over 9000 pictures on this phone, I know there's at least 200 duplicates or more, this app scanned for almost six minutes and ended up telling me that there are no duplicate photos on my phone. I almost ripped my hair out reading the reviews cus how do you deceive people like this when you know ur app is so terrible? Pls do better, or better yet, just fold and delete this app from existence.

This app is super duper filled with popups & malware type stuff that tell you 'you have viruses/download multiple apps to fix it' type stuff. Absolutely useless with all the closing out of ads you have to do and they surround the buttons for the actual app functions in ways that make it hard to tell what's an ad and what's a scan tool. Use one of the multiple other options in the play store yall.

This is first app that does what it says it does and have tried over a dozenat least you don't have to move all your photos XDinto one basket.havnt found out if I can get at my SD card yet but will be surprised if cannot. And don't forget it's free

i installed it to try because i used one of the earlier but i immediately uninstalled it.first issue is that you cant select a certain file for scanning.you have to sit through the whole scan process and just wasnt feeling like it since i know which files i want scanned.also just about immediately it started with ads.then if you list a review you get slapped with a chatbot like reply about how sorry we are about your bad experience.probably why nothing gets done about complaints because nobody

Did no ask me what drives or folders I wanted to scan, it just started scanning the whole thing, I tried to stop the scan but there are so màny ads poping up every time I press a button the app is unable to stop. Waste of time.
