PhotoWear Classic Watch Face

The app is great. All the free options are pretty awesome. I get to choose between 9 different photos that I can change at anytime. I can customize fonts, colors and even placement to a certain degree... It's great! I guess the one thing I would recommend improving, would be the ability to specify the display position better, or allow precise positioning. Right now you only have 3 options: top, middle or bottom. Maybe even as just a pro option.

I don't like how you have to select the picture to change it. It doesn't automatically cycle through them. All the customization options require the paid version. There's a free one that is already installed called photo. It cycles through the pictures every time you look at your watch, and you can have more than 9 pictures. Plus some customization options, all for free

Okay, wow, for free you get one album, a handful of fonts, and no app settings. The options to customize the clock seemed pretty nice, but then there's the other problem: I really wanted to just create one wallpaper at a time. An album of one photo. But the app wants you to load nine photos into every album, so it can show you the delightful grid of nine mini photos on your watch. Then you can select each photo as a closeup, customized watch face, but I just want one photo. Not an album.

One word: AMAZING !!! I have a Fossil gen 5 watch and a Samsung phone. I couldn't figure out how to set my own pictures on my watch face without logging into my social media (Facebook/Instagram). Glad I came across this app, I remember someone mentioning it on a YouTube video. You can choose 9 pics of your own on your phone using the photo wear app, it also has filters, brightness, contrast, etc. Pro version has more features, which I think its worth getting. Once its synced to the watch thru Bluetooth, you'll see the 9 photos you chose from your phone onto the watch itself, then you can pick one out of any of them as your main wallpaper cover for your smart watch.

Like it so far, I'd love some improvements. It would be great if the photo stayed instead of having to select every day. Also, randomly replaces my photo with a stock photo. I also wish the ok numbers could be color, size, and placement edited to work with more photos. The numbers are so small I can barely see them - I could make them larger if they could be placed by the user.

The perfect app for customized photos on my Galaxy watch! I love the different options for the photo, font and placement of the time. I love being able to select a photo to coordinate with my outfit for the day. I have had many compliments. I had a small issue and the developer answered my question right away and supplied me with helpful information about the app. GREAT APP!!

Pretty good app. Haven't found anything I don't like about it yet, and it works as advertised. It's even worth paying the money for pro. Would recommend (and have) to friends Maybe could use a couple extra different clock styles. I also like one that comes with the watch that allows you to customize your own brand name for the watch. Also maybe look into widgets or whatever they are called to be compatible with this app so that way it can function the same as the factory face styles

Shortly after using the free version on my LG w150, I went ahead and purchased the pro version for a couple bucks. Wonderful app. Would have been 5 stars of I could store more images. Hurry! Hurry! And I will update I have upgraded my watch to a Samsung gear3 frontier after a couple years......man, I really had to, and continue to, struggle with this app to get it to perform .....still only 9 images..... cannot get it to switch from analog to digital time..... . my review to 6 stars

Great when it still worked. Added a photo, and now I can't change to any other. Restarted watch and phone, switched watch face and back, still doesn't change. Claims to send, but doesn't, and watch is definitely connected. Glad I bought the full version out of my Google Awards credit. I'll give five stars if this can be fixed. And oh yes, you can't send the preloaded photos at all, only change them.

So far so good! Bought the pro version to get all the customizable settings. Some more settings for the auto advance like setting up the timing before changing the photo and ability to have photos change on a time basis without the photo changing everytime the watch goes from ambient to full brightness would be nice. A second hand on the analog watch would be nice as well. Also having more than 9 photos in the que please! Changes bring more stars.

Lovely app! I noticed that Samsung has a similar internal app, but the images don't look as nice on it. I hope in the future, you can add the "complication" feature, as well as more watch designs. I like the "minimal" watch design but I would like one completely without numbers, and one with roman numerals too. I would also like to be able to change settings on my watch instead of having to always go into the app.

Just terrible experience. Synchronizing the photos actually leaves them going black or blank. Everything kind of displays or refreshes really slowly. The paid version didn't do anything (no time on the watch face). I was unable to get refund within minutes of purchase because of a 3rd party?? I will never get a paid version of Samsung Galaxy watch companion and maybe Google play app. They should make it way way more simple to get a refund for a defective app.

Still love this app but had to change my rating from a 5 to a 2. I had to reset my phone and now the app will not let me access any of my photo albums except the download folder. I can see all of my photos in the photos tab but under the albums tab, only the downloads album. I've tried every "fix" I could find and nothing works. Permissions appear to be set properly. Please help!

paid for this app, now have to use another app, way less options, any fancy things you need to pay more.

A really nice app. There are some features that doesn't look good on my watch like the battery percentage there should be options on how you want to see it. The way that big battery is on the display doesn't look nice at all. But besides that you did something that many galaxy wear users were hoping to have and is to have their photos on display. That's why I rated with 3 stars.

I have been searching for a free watch app all day, but everything I found had in app purchases for the main reason of making a custom watch face or made you pay for the app itself without letting you see if you like it first. The reviews on most of them weren't good so when I saw this had a majority of 5 stars I had to give it a try, was not disappointed I can make my own watch face for free all in app purchases are optional but I'm really considering buying because I'm very pleased.

I've deleted my original msg wondering if this app is compatible with the "GalaxyWatch 4" For people with the Galaxy watch 4 YOU DO NOT NEED ANOTHER App to USE YOUR OWN PHOTOS!! Just simply go into "Watch Faces" & click "ALL" & Scroll down to "Photo+" Not only can you use any & ALL of your photos in your gallery, but you can also customize the background (which is your photo), but also the clock type & compositions (which are displayed around your image on the screen). HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL!!

The apps for the phone & watch are both fluid and easy to use. Fossil Exp 4. Works as described. Tap twice without holding to change your background photo quickly. I found this very useful and use this face often. I would like to have app bubbles like the Fossil app has, but sometimes it is nice to have it simple. When I upload a GIF the photo displays, but does not move. I looked through the setting thoroughly, but I may still be missing something as to how to fix this. Overall: satisfied.

This app is AMAZING! Exactly what I was looking for without any junk! Before downloading I read the reviews and one thing that stood out was the responses to every one from the app. I figured if I had any issues that atleast I would get a quick response, but this app is OUTSTANDING! Easy to use, so many options and no issues! If you are looking to personalize your watch, but weary of downloading apps, look no further and this is the one! Keep up the good work!
