10/12/24 Submitted an order. App said that the order had been placed and would be ready in 15 minutes. Went to the store and was told that they had never received the order and couldn't find it in the system. The app was telling me that my order was ready. The workers were wonderful but the app is trash. 2/16/26 Ordered one pizza with light sauce and one with heavy sauce. Received both with regular. Printed receipt shows no preference. App shouldn't have an option if it won't be passed to chef.

Another update: I tried to use my app. It said there was an update. I completed it and still cannot login. YOUR SIGN IN DOESN'T WORK. I can't even begin as a guest. I would add a screenshot but it won't let me. I have to update my review and say this app has stopped working all together. I recently had to go to my computer to order online. That's pretty sad in 2025. A delivery fee on top of a tip is ridiculous. Especially a $5 fee

UPDATE: You can't even add symbols to delivery directions, and the character limit is so small it's worthless. Why? It's almost funny. There is no ability to add a gate code to get into a gated area. The app crashes. It won't let me redeem points. I have to continuously back out of the app and close it, then open it again so that my inputs will be accepted. I get error messages telling me something went wrong and to try again later every few seconds. Updated: still accurate. No fixes. Horrible.

App is typically user friendly and straightforward. Biggest problem is that this app doesn't function half the time I am trying to use it, whether a full crash or an error, and never offers a specific error type, only "something went wrong, try again later". The app also has significant difficulty processing orders when trying to redeem rewards. Why bother giving out rewards points if you won't let us access them? Updates have made this worse -_-

Changing my review as the app is far worse now. I just installed the newest update and it won't even work now. I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times and the app is just frozen. It won't do anything. Before the freeze it would add incorrect items to the cart all the time. Crash multiple times before I can finish an order. And now it won't even work. Worst app ever. More buggy than an ant farm. 0/5 stars.

I'm replacing my review with an unfortunately worse one. This app is garbage. It only opens half the time, and usually gets stuck on the opening screen. It's slow and laggy when I do get it open, but worst of all, it complains that my email address is invalid. The same email address I've used for years and placed orders under. I give up; I guess no more Pizza Hut for me. Bye.

Unfortunately, this app had a recent update that took it from something that was lightweight, fast, and reliable to the mess it is now. Doing something as simple as incrementing an item by 1 causes the checkout cart to reload (taking several seconds) and? Bizarrely? There were naked boneless wings in my checkout that I didn't order. And then when I tried to remove those, the whole app crashed and now it won't restart. Very unfortunate, and the second crash I've had since the update.

My experience is that the app works fine now except they always give you a standard 15 minutes from ordering as to when to expect your pizza ready for pick up. The past few times I ordered this way I've gone to pick up my pizza at the time specified only to have to wait an additional 20-40 minutes in the restaurant with exasperated employees ranting about how behind they are. Please have a way of having realistic time expectations for pickup. I'm to the point where I won't order here anymore.

Edit: I still can't sign in with my phone number despite verifying on the website that it's correct. Your update should have said that the app now allows people to sign in with email, so it's at least useable for people in my situation. The Domino's app still works. I can't sign in with my email on the pizza hut app. Mobile Number doesn't allow me to get into my account, and prompts me to make a new one. I can sign into the website, but that's a hoop I don't want to jump through.

Love using this app. Use it quite often and very pleased with the deals and ordering. Update 2/19/2026 please add Google wallet to form of payments! It is so annoying having to type my Card info for every transaction, and the app will NOT allow me save my card. "there was a problem saving your payment method" but it always takes my card when I manually put it in at each checkout.

App broke after update! The app has been down since the last patch on January 17th. The new update signed everyone out. It won't let you actually sign in with a username and password now. It wants you to put it your email or phone number associated with your account. Neither option will actually send you a OTP to enter. Try to continue as a guest and no matter what address you enter the app shows the error code "failed to create cart". Dominos and Papa John app work great!

Constantly crashing, update fixed nothing. If anything, it crashes more. update! it's been 5 years and I finally decided to give Pizza Hut another chance because of this god-awful app that doesn't even work on Android because they don't give a damn about it at all. lasted all of 60 seconds. downloaded it and tried to log in and everything went black and it keeps closing. uninstalled and reinstalled it same thing. tried it on another Android device, same thing. tried it on an iPhone no problem.

You fixed the issue since the last update. Yet again I downloaded your recent update and it won't accept payment by credit card. The option won't even load in the payment screen. I thought it might not be accepting my card so when I go to the payment tab under my profile it won't even load the cards I have on file. Fixe your App people.

This is the worst app I've ever had the displeasure of using in any context, let alone for ordering food. Constant connection issues, points bugging out and becoming unusable, and the app logging me out sporadically and refusing to send me a code through my email to let me log back in. I'm done with the app and will exclusively be using the website from now on.

this is got to be one of the worst food apps in the history of food apps, The area that you place your credit card information does not work has not worked and over a month The app is slow and it's difficult to find locations that have been there for at least 10 years and you know it's there because you've been going there for over 10 years this app sucks the ding dongs just go to the website and place the order store credits never show up on the app

This might be the worst food app of all, and that is saying something. Can't stay logged in, keeps interrupting trying to log in with an error message, then if you finally get it to send the code, the keyboard disappears and nothing brings it back, so you can't actually enter the code. If by some miracle you get logged in, it will never successfully load anything. You would think they have as many menu items as Amazon has products with how slow it loads.

Worst app ever! It's always been bad but at least I could order food. No more. It responds slowly, if at all, inconsistently accepts my password but won't let me change it through Forgot Password so that I can't even log in, persistent error when trying to pay and generally does nothing but frustrate me until I give up and order someone else's pizza. Same problems with mobile site on my phone and tablet, and full website on laptop. Assumption is Pizza Hut no longer wants my business.

same old problem, app doesn't work. it's like if they fix the UI for browsing, they screw up the login stuff, they fix that, then problems with rewards, tonight, we can't check out because there is a card on file, that one wouldn't go through, try to use a different card than that one won't go through, turns out when looking at it, it's because they are using old card on the account, and you can't change it because someone wasn't smart enough to test the payment process.

Worst food app on the market. I will not be giving this company any more of my money. They lost my phone number as it is attached to my account and just as I had earned a free pizza. Horrible!!! Still cannot access my account. they wait for you to build up rewards and then they deliberately and with malice mess up your account so you cannot collect. I will find every place you can possibly review pizza hut and blast them on social media.

Finally used the app (after months of not being able to sign in) but couldn't save a payment method for some reason. In my opinion, this version of just signing in with your phone number is better. But Pizza Hut, NO ONE wants to hear about the "offers" given after placing an order. Seriously, I don't need XM/Serious or anything else outside of the Hut. Give me coupons/discounts!!
