I downloaded this today, and I'm honestly not too happy with it. There seems to be a lot of misinformation on plants, plants not in their database (string of turtles), and they're "sickness detection" feature os completely bugged. Anytime I would scam a plant, it would say my healthy ones are sick and the unhealthy ones are completely healthy! it also doesn't give you specific information on how to treat it. You just have to search through their common diseases list to find it.

Better than Planta it has way more options for customization when it comes to each plant's care routine. However, it also demands money from you at every turn, and they didn't even have a few of my plants as options. I hate how limited that is; you can ONLY select plants that are in their database. If you also have a Monstera Burle Marx Flame, do not depend on this app to help you with it.

Love this app. it is free to use, but you do have the option to purchase a subscription. It gives you notification to water and fertilizer your plants just in case you forget plus you can take photo if you don't know what a plant is. Edit: All the plants I had on there is no longer there. It's pretty much asking me to redo everything thing. It was good until it wasn't.

I like the app but missing a few things. Photo identification feature is fairly accurate. Easy to use and straight forward user interface. A soil feature would be awesome, being able to pick what kind of media the plant is in or if it's growing in water. I have a few pothos in water and I have to turn off the watering and fertilizer reminders. A grown light feature would be beneficial, I have plants in rooms that do not have enough natural light and need a grow light.

I am using the paid version and was disappointed to find that I could not sort my plants by their names. It should also be possible to sort the Sites alphabetically. Other than that, it is a decent app. I will be looking for an alternative that allows sorting before I renew my paid version. Very inaccurate identification functions. Diagnostic functions almost worthless.

All in all, I like the idea of this app. Much of the content is quite informative, but I do not trust the watering schedules any longer. So, pre-app, I had this gorgeous African violet that was growing more vigorously than any I'd ever had before, and it bloomed like mad. Fabulous. But the app had me watering it every few days instead of only when it was dry, and now it is an anemic little plant with rotting leaves that never blooms at all. I am worried that I'm going to lose it soon.

it was fantastic for a while, but within the past few months, I've stopped getting notifications and my watering schedule has been all messed up- for example, I'll water one plant one day, check it off, then ill have to water the same plant two days in a row! or all of a sudden, all of my plants will be scheduled to be watered the same day, even if they have different amounts of days they need to be watered!! this app is wonderful and super helpful! up until recently💔

I ended up canceling at the end of my free trial (today), but have been charged $29.99 USD anyway for 1 month of membership. Immediately after canceling, I received an offer to get a whole year for $29.99 USD. Just letting y'all know I just paid for 1 month on what I could've got for a year. It doesn't seem like a bad app for the plants, tho. I may have appreciated it more in the winter when they struggle. Half of mine are outside in the summer getting warmth, rain, and are somewhat happy.

I've been using the free version (not the free trial) for a year. it's a bit cumbersome that the landing page/splash screen is the paid premium options, but there's an x at the top right corner that allows you to exit, taking you to the rest of the free app. the app has a lot of useful and helpful information. I mainly use the app to track watering frequency. love being able to identify plants with photos, and organize plants based on sites.

Listed as free, but only for the first 7 day trial period. You still have to give all your payment info just to try it out. EDITED FROM 1 * TO 3*: Apparently you do NOT have to enter payment info b4 the 7 day trial. Still don't like that it's advertised in such a way that I thought it was a few app when it's not. Can't use long term. Not impt enough to me to pay. Can't really comment on the effectiveness of the app.

I only did the free week trial, so maybe I need more time with it. I love being able to quickly capture and track all of my plants. However, I can't mark when I actually watered or fertilized them, so the schedule is off. I had some sick plants diagnosed, but after leaving the app and coming back, I can't click back into the diagnosis information. I have to retake the photos. Also, it keeps telling me that one of my plants is just old and dying naturally... but it's a new plant from a clipping!

So far, this has helped me a great deal in being able to find out exactly what was wrong with my rosemary plant in my garden before it infected my Lace Leaf Maple tree! I have found out many useful things with it. The reason for only 4 🌟 is that I was unable to proceed in Google when I was checking on my subscription until I agreed to pay for another year a full 5 months before I needed to for 30 free days. I would have liked to make that decision myself. I had to add a backup card, too!

The app could be improved by simply making the temperature show proper farenheit in the US. Also it mentions that I shouldn't water plants outside. It's 27F degrees out side. I don't think anyone is growing anything outside this time of year! Those are just 2 of my issues. I have a few more but I won't bother to list those here. The app would be probably one of the best plant apps out there, if the developers took the time to fix some of the small issues. Id probably use it.

I like that the app makes it easy to gauge light in your plant's location, identify the health of a plant and that it has so much information and reminders. Sadly, this app doesn't allow me to input when MY plant was last watered, making the reminders not as useful for me because they don't match when my plants need water, which is the primary reason I downloaded it.

I was happy to find this app to keep track of my plants. However, I'm not able to add my own pictures of the plants, it keeps saying, "no connection" while I'm in a WiFi zone. What's the fix? The watering and fertilizing reminder will not sync the custom settings. I have to keep digging in the soil to check for dryness.

I signed up for the free trial, I liked the app, so agreed to pay for it monthly to continue trying it out. I have just noticed that you took the whole yearly fee back in March, which I would not have done. I have since cancelled the app, thinking I would no longer be paying for it (not realising I already had). Really bad practice - Avoid.

Be careful, app provided watering schedule may be VERY wrong. Yes, some degree of customization is needed based on your plants, but this app just seems to generically recommend watering once a week. Your plants may survive, but many definitely won't thrive. How might the app be better? Gather more useful data about the environment. Humidity is huge, app doesn't ask. Soil type matters, app doesn't ask. Good for reminders and tracking if you know what you're doing, bad if you don't.

This was very first plant app I used when I began my journey with just 2 plants. Over the last 2 years I've tried a couple other plant apps just to check them out. We all want the best ones right?! Here I am up to 20 indoor plants and back to this app. It's the most accurate and helpful one in my opinion. My only issue is I wish it had all varieties of some plants. Example I have golden, marble queen, jade and neon pothos. However this app only has golden pothos as an option when identifying.

Not sure how I feel about it as a whole just yet it's got pros and cons. The light meter is a bit off I think but my main annoyance is the app doesn't work without wifi. I went to the plant store to pick plants best suited for my space using the app but couldn't because it lost connection. Update. App told me to water certain plants every day. Ended up over watering them and they died. Check the frequency and it says water every 7 days but reminders are still saying 1 and won't change.

Needs a little more. But I love the layout. I'm choosing this app over the other ones researched. There needs to be more planted options other than potted. I have boxwoods and hydrangeas and fruit trees but they are all in the ground. Obviously this can impact the plant because of the soil type. Watering may be different in the ground vs. In a pot. I'm trying to plant trees that are 2 years or less but having a hard time researching best practices. It would be nice to have tree guides.
