Unusable - don't bother. Useless app that isn't fit for purpose and just wastes your time. Try and add money by selecting your bank and it's impossible to proceed as it just continually returns to / stays on the 'choose your bank' page, so you are stuck. Select the option to add it another way (bank transfer) and you just get a 'something went wrong' error message. Try the in app help and it's impossible to speak to a human and the chat bot is useless. Worst fintech app I have ever used!

It's almost as if someone said to Plum-"Design an app that makes saving and investing as complex as possible with as many steps as possible". To save regularly into an ISA I have to use something called a "brain", then set up a rule (that has limitations), then link an account, then deposit to a pot, then manually send from that pot every month to the ISA. I literally just want to automatically put a few hundred quid aside a month and leave it. Absolutely awful. Wish I never bothered

I like the sum up feature. but sadly after that you have to pay for pretty much every thing else. other platforms offer more free features also after recent updates everything is so much harder to navigate. it's not the simplest of platforms to use. again other platforms are easier to navigate. I would recommend looking at other platforms as well as this one.

The customer service is absolutely useless i had it set to auto deposit and invest some of the payments didnt purchase the investments and didnt reattempt to purchase or return the money to the "pocket" of uninvested money so I contacted the support through the app...... several times and it has now been 7 weeks and they just say they have marked it as urgent priority with the technical team. I dont know what there idea of urgent is but mine is less than 2 months. Appears they are just stealing

if I could give negative stars I would. I have wasted 52 weeks using one of their features. just to find out at the end of the saving, that they have not actually been putting money aside, like they said they would. word of warning to everyone. I would check your balances and deposits and make sure it adds up. I am MISSING money. and they cannot explain where it's gone. watch out. do not pay for the features on the app. they are not worth it. they are much better apps out there. even worse now

Had some issues with the app recently but was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. As well as the issue being resolved promptly, customer service have remained in touch to ensure everything is working well now. Very happy with plum overall. Would definitely recommend to others!!

For people who want to grow their money without complicated UI or needing to understand huge amounts about investing, Plum is the best app. It takes a weekly amount from me and I use it like a rainy day fund - far better interest than anything standard savings accounts can offer.

Overall it is ok but I am having trouble getting the weekly automatic deposits to work. It has randomly done it some weeks but then doesn't do it again. As I wanted something I didn't really have to think about it's a bit annoying.

Internal transactions and therefore withdrawals take too long and closing your account takes even longer. I've been trying to close my account for several days, but have to wait until all my funds are transferred internally, and I'm still waiting. I still don't know how long it's going to take. It's a good thing I've got less than £100 with them. I'd hate to have a lot of money stuck in this quagmire.

It's an absurdly complicated app that is a nightmare to navigate. Interest rate on their cash ISA started at 5.18% and now languishes at a paltry 2.70% just over a year later. Classic bait and switch. I am now trying to withdraw my money and it is proving a nightmare to do so. The promised deadline has already been missed by Plum. Avoid - there are far better products on the market.

Stopped notifying me of the money it was saving for me weekly. Unable to make manual deposits like I used to be able to and currently unable to link my bank account to it again (you have to approx every 90 days) which renders it absolutely useless now. It's a shame because it previously was really good. UPDATE- linked after deleting/reinstalling both bank app and plum. Will update review next time I'm due to link

I use this app a fair bit to transfer money from accounts and withdraw money but I have had several issues recently with the app not registering that I have money in the account and saying I have zero funds to withdraw and the most recent is when I click show pin on manage card tab it's doesn't actually show my pin it's blank.. app was fine but seems to be less usable as time goes on. hopefully it gets back to where it was.

Have been having on going technical issues for a week. Repeatedly being told 'they are working on it', 'understand my frustration', and thank you for my 'patience', but nothing has been done. No updates, no fixes, and no date given for a resolve, just endless platitudes. For a company dealing with savings, consumers should expect much more. I would recommend to avoid this company.

The app provides poor realtime data on share prices on investments I hold, which has cost me gains. I never understand the total value and portfolio value as they are always different. Surely they should be the same? I started using T212 and haven't looked back. For managing savings and budget it would still be ok, but I don't use as I'm used to excel planners.

From initially thinking this was a great app I have been for the past year struggled with no end of problems and no real help to solve them. Now investigating where to move my money to as I am preparing to close my account. Overall very disappointed it has come to this.

I'm using the app for the Lifetime ISA. I find it difficult to find out whether my deposit is going into the ISA as there's no pending information. The app has pockets which I don't really understand, I wish I could just auto deposit into the ISA (I thought that's what I'd set up but it went into my pocket). I find the app confusing to find information and my money has left the pocket and not reached the ISA, so the money looks like it's just gone. I hope it appears soon!

Good clear investing opportunities for stocks and shares ISA. Lots of bugs and issues with displaying portfolio values. Examples include a wrong return value over certain time horizons which was eventually fixed, and then a mismatch between returns shown on different pages of the app, which the help desk couldn't explain. Gives me very little confidence in what plum are showing me is the actual value.

terrible app and horrendous customer service. Balances are rarely correct causing it to be very hard to keep track of what you actually have. no help from customer service on any issues. once the financial ombudsman have completed their case I will be avoiding plum from now on.

Really like the app, when it works as it should, but am increasingly having issues with missed automatic payments, glitches, missing or incorrect investments totals, and repeated issues linking bank accounts, which ultimately makes me nervous about how safe my money is. Please fix these issues and I'd be happy to increase my rating Update Jan 2026 - same issues remain, notifications patchy, investment totals glitchy

I downloaded and already causing problems not only am I unable to access email that was sent every time I try to enter pin it tells me something went wrong I should try again later it seems like this app isn't as straight forward as it claims I have barely had a chance to use it and already its full of problems
